HelloI've an issue that I don't know how to address. I developed an app that shows a list of the ThingTemplates you have in your composer. I use this via the API so it would be something like: "http://<your_url>/Thingworx/ThingTemplates and then just extract from the rowsRecently i got access to a composer url that redirects me to SQUEAL when I log in with the credentials that I was given. If in my app I try to query the API for ThingTemplates it always comes up empty, no rows, but if I search within SQUEAL i can see some Templates are indeed searchable there.My question is, how can I access ThingTemplates, and the Things themselves, instead of the search engine? Was I given the wrong URL or is it user related? Or even something else?I would appreciate someone that could help me.Thank you,Francisco.

Has anyone experienced IFX not finding (or looking) in windchill for certain parts, while others work fine?       I have a large amount of library components (mostly family tables) from Windchill that I have added to IFX. The options are configured for WC properly and everything has been working well. It has recently come to my attention that 2 random washers (which I believe worked at some point in the past) no longer are able to find the associated models in windchill.        For whatever reason, IFX tries to find <name of .dat file>.prt inside my ifx_fastener_data folder for these 2 washers. I can't make any sense out of it because the .dat files are configured identically to other washers in my library that do work with IFX. When I switch out the FAMPRT line with the name of a different washer (that has the same family table columns), it works...which tells me that my .dat file is set up properly. &nbs

Good morning,   I have often noticed that, in CREO Simulate (2.0), stress and strains are usually very large on the feature where I apply a displacement even if, in many cases, I would have not expected them. For example, when I impose a displacement on the free tip of a part that could be seen as a cantilever beam, stress and strain are large not just at the root of the part (the constrained one, as expected) but also in correspondence with the surface/line/point to which I have applied the displacement belonging to the free end. So I would like to ask if there is any known reason for this behaviour.   Thank you very much for the help!   Regards

Hi,          I have already installed Thingworx-mssql in my machine.  I'm looking for the below          1.   Manufacturing app extension to import into ThingWorx which i have already installed, but i couldn't find one.          2 .  I tried downloading Manufacturing app (ThingworxManufacturingApps-8.0.1-02-developerKit), but by default this come with postgre sql.  Do we have one for MSSQL?ThanksHema

Hi,I want to export data from a thing's property.I used the service "QueryNamedPropertyHistory".I define a service named "GetMyProperty" to pass parameters to the "PropertyNames"  of "QueryNamedPropertyHistory".Through the above i want to assign the properties which will be exported.The error is "Unable to Invoke Service QueryNamedPropertyHistoy". It seems that the parameters isn't passed  successfully by the service "GetMyProperty".In this picture, you can see that I assign properties in list and add them to the table in the right. The conent in the table was listed by using the service "GetMyProperty".This picture will show you the connects about QueryNamedPropertyHistory in the Mashup Builder.Wish your help!

Hello,I'm trying to use server-side script more effectively, but I got some troubles on that.First, As I have known, Thingworx Server-side script uses Rhino 1.7R4 which is based on Javascript 1.7. Then the script should support the functions of Javascript 1.7 such as "let".But when I use the "let" statement in the script, it comes out "Sytanx Error". I think Rhino has no problem on that, then is this problem of javascript syntax checker of Thingworx?Second, This is similar problem with above. If I use "for ~ in" statement on Array, then It makes the output weird.Example codes is below.---1) Syntax Error of "let"---2) Error of "for each ~ in". it outputs unknown sentence starts with "_function".If anybody knows this kind of problems and reasons, please reply. All,is it possible to change the Base Thing Template of an existing template? A customer has decided to split an existing template into two new templates and divide up the properties and services between the two. All existing things are based on one of these to we should be able to keep the based on the old template as long as we can change the Base Thing  Template of the old template to reference one of the new ones. Installing in a 64 Bit Windows OS was with Tomcat 8.5 was fine . But the same procedure gives 404 error in a 32 Bit . Should I try lower version of Tomcat ?

Actually I was having SQL DB Backup and dosen't have LDAP and Vault Backup. I have restore SQL Backup with Fresh Installation and now I was able to login through windchill. I can able to see my previous data but unable to download or open it...   So my query is Only the metadata will get saved in DB or it will also have a copy of our data that we have in Vaults.

After having me logged in to the Thingworx Studio Portal and having installed the ThingWorx Studio propperly the Autoconfiguration of the ThingWorx Studio did not succeed. The manual setup also failed, because I have not received any Welcome to the Trail E-Mail with all my personized information. Any Ideas where to get the personalized settings from?    

Hello, Can someone help me creating "Property table"? I want to add few new parameters to models. I know how to create new parameters but it gets assigned under "Main". Is there any way to create new category say "User defined properties" and create new parameters under the same?   Hoping to see quick replies 🙂 Madhavi

I have a windchill .prt file that defines a standard cutting tool. I'd like to make a hyperlink available to the people searching this tool in Windchill to be able to click on the attribute disaplyed in their search results and take you right to the website.Is there a place in Windchill I can put this hyperlink? The link works great in a drawing/part note but I want it available in the Windchill search results.Thoughts? Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,I have a dropdown list widget which is populated from a service which returns an infotable, it all works fine. However, there are times when it is perfectly valid for there to be no returned rows in the infotable. When this happens I would like to display the text "< none >" in the header row when the drop down is not activated. Ideally I'd like to use some form of state formatting so the text would be grey.Does anyone know how I might achieve this? I have tried putting "< none >" in the TextNoSelection property for the widget, but this appeared to do nothing.Thanks

I am trying to solve the main equation of the attached article. I can easily reproduce table 3 of the article but am not able to reproduce table 4 and 5. Would someone be so kind what to look what could cause this behavior? Thanks in advance!
