Hello, I have two questions about CREO Simulate (I am using the 2.0 version):   1) During the preprocessing of an assembly, I tried to create a cross section because it would have been very helpful to see more in details the mesh created in internal features of some parts, but unfortunately I could not. Is there a way to create it?   2) Is it possible to interrupt an analysis and restart it in a second moment from the point at which I interrupted it?   Thank you in advance for the help!

Hi, is there a way to launch the download automatically when you get the link ? So, the user don't have to click the link in order to launch the download.My ultimate goal is to to an export with ExportInfotableAsExcel. Then, download that file created automatically.

Hi Simulate Users,   Within Creo Simulate are contact features supported in a Modal analysis? If they are, how do you enable them in a Modal Analysis? Hi,I am trying to create several MQTT Things( connection+subscriber +publisher) and I would like to be able to add new MQTT Things in javascript.I ve created a MQTT Template (from MQTT) with connection to network server etc., properties, and automatic mapping from topic.While in Template view, I can click create Thing in top right, then the configuration appears in the new Thing as well(desired).But when creating or cloning Thing in javascript, the configurationis is not copied.I use Thingworx 7.1.Any ideas how to solve it or explanations?Thank you in advance.Jaroslav

I have built a few mashups. However, I am not sure how to put that in a Dashboard.Is Dashboard a collection of individual mashups? For mashups, there is a direct URL for users to see. The example LSR template has a function that is supposed to fire an event on the platform, but I can't get it to work.  I create the example thing from example.lua, add the event (ExampleEvent), and the data shape (also named ExampleEvent).  I've tried making the event on the platform both local and remote.  The result is always the same, 500, internal server error.  All the other example template functionality works - the properties and services.Does anyone have example LSR code that fires an event on the platform, or can tell me how I'm configuring the example template wrong?-->Adam

I did an OOTB install of Windchill 11m030 yesterday, but when I launch the web browser, I get the login screen and then a spinning cog wheel gif in the upper left corner. I am not seeing any error messages in the method server didplays. The one thing I did that was not normal was on the Oracle server, I ran 11m020 utlities to create the DB because that was the build I had planned on installing. When I got to the Windchill install, I did not have the 11m020 Service Pack image, so loaded the 11m030 images. I did notice that Upgrade Manager ran successfully, so I am guessing that the schema was upgraded. I did not se any errors in the Upgrade Manager log file. I installed with Oracle 12c.   I have done a prior install of 11m010 on Oracle 12c with no issues. I have also done an upgrade from 11m010 to m020 on those machines.   Is this somethiing in the install that may have casued this?

Hello,   I am currently analysing the Navigate Applications. In order to test the View Drawing App, I have set up a Windchill Installation with an example product, including various .PRT and .ASM files. I have also created some drawings and PDFs based on these drawings. My question is, how do I have to link the CAD-Documents/WTParts/PDFs in order to have them show up in the View Drawing App results screen? I tried to upload the PDF and link it to the WTPart under the "Described by"-Documents tab, which did not solve the problem. The only result showing on the Results page is the .plt viewable, which was automatically created by a Worker.   Thank you

Hey,I made a service which will create new instances of a template with all you have to do (create via EntityServices, enable, restart). My script had an error (instead use Things[Name].RestartThing() I wrote Things[Name].Restart() which doesn't work).I testet this scribt (before I saw the error) and it show me the error. I replace Restart() with RestartThing() and the script works fine.Now I will export my project but I get an error "Unable to read thing : heiss : null" (heiss is the name of the thing I just create with by testing before i saw the error). The thing is not visible in the list of things but it's exists somewhere.I tried to delete the thing via EntityServices -> DeleteThing but its will not work.Logs in Application Log by trying to delete the thing:ErrorCode(36d55fde-4526-4101-8492-5bed98d5a095), Cause(null), Reason(Access was attempted on a null reference variable.), Possible Resolutions(Remove the reference to the null variable within your extension code.)[context:

I have got one Thing in which i have written "ABC" service. In "ABC" service, am calling GetJSON() method which contains history url in params. But when I upload it to the ThingWorx platform no DataShape is available for the InfoTable, so I nothing can be inserted. Hello, l have a long time problem with model accuracy. l understand it´s different from company to company. Company no. 1 is specialist about fine optic lens with high accuracy. Company no. 2 is specialist about rought machining with lower model accuracy. Our company produce a air-ducts. It means 5000 mm long duct, DIA 1500 mm with 2 mm wall thickeness ---> it´s a big difference between lenght and thickeness. Rules that l have to keep: - all models have same model accuracyMy information about accuracy: - absolute is better than relative - set absolute = 0,002 looks fine? I installed VS 2012, and am running a build.  I get a message that it cant find the following.   The builds tools for v110_xp (Platform Toolset = 'v110_xp') cannot be found. To build using the v110_xp build tools, either click the Project menu or right-click the solution, and then select "Update VC++ Projects...". Install v110_xp to build using the v110_xp build tools. Neither of these options in the error message instructions seem available to me.   How do I get the v110_xp?

I have a model in my session.Using ModelItems i Sent my model into modelitems and get the Id of features. Session session=pfcGlobal.GetProESession(); //GET MODEL Model mod=session.GetCurrentModel(); ModelItems item; item=mod.ListItems(ModelItemType.ITEM_FEATURE); I get all the Id's inside a model.Now What i want,Access each model based on the Id using Jlink program.Please help me to solve my problem.

I have successfully utilized Creo 2.0's ability to apply a preload and force measure features for fasteners in performing a static analysis on an assembly. The Simulate results doesn't seem to have the option to be able to display in the result windows internal tensile and shear forces acting on the fasteners. Does anyone know if Creo simulate has this ability.I have attached an example of a fastener analysis that was done using ABAQUS. The analysis results display both vonMises stresses as well as the tensile and shear force magnitude vectors. This is what I was hoping Creo can display.

All,   I think I imported a table from excel months ago. I am now doing some editing. For ome reon I can "copy" a cell, but when I right mouse click a I normally do....there is no option to "paste". I can do it on other tables in the drawing. But not on this imported one. I assume there is something I can do to the table to fix the problem?   Thanks, Wayne
