Hi,I created a mashup named A with a parameter "ID". I want to pass the parameter "ID" to the contained mashup when mashup A loaded. How can I do this job?

We have many computers with Mathcad 15 on them that the students use. The problem is that the software needs to be licensed through each user's account individually throught the Mathcad License Setup wizard, in which we configure it to use a FlexLM server and enter our server name with port 7788. This is very impractical when it comes to lab computers that hundreds of students use. I have seen that with other software there are environment variables for licensing that make the license universal for all users. I have tried things like LM_LICENSE_FILE or PTC_D_LICENSE_FILE with the value "7788@(our server)" but this doesn't work. Any ideas?

I have this service to get the ThingTemplate implemented by a set of Things wich implements different Thing Templates.The code:result = Things[ThreeInput].GetImplementedThingTemplates().toInfoTable();But when testing it, it throws the following error:Does anybody knows what is the solution to this?Thanks on advance.

Hello,   One of my users (in Asia) emailed me about a crashing issue he is having.  Every time he switches from layer tree to model tree.   Unfortunately his machine is not supported, an Dell Optiplex 9010 with Intel HD Graphics 4000.  I had him update his drivers & he reports this morning that it did not help.   I would have him switch from OpenGL to Win32gdi but it appears that PTC decided to remove that option in Creo 3.0.   I'm sending him the list of supported hardware for Creo3.0 & can only hope his boss authorizes him to get a new machine.  Until then I thought I would reach out for help.  Yes, I am grasping at straws here but maybe I'll get lucky.   Thanks, Joe S.

Following the steps of the Analytics Builder Quickstart, I reach the point where the Analytic Server must be identified. I set the IP for the local Analytic Server and I set "neuronuser" as Application Id. When I execute "Verify Configuration", the next message appears on the top of the screen:Error invoking service: Invalid Analytics Server Version (ValidateMLServerVersion#5)I have installed Analytics Server 7.4, and I'm using Thingworx 7.4.Could anyone give me any clue about this issue?Thank you very much

Hi Everyone, I'm an intern at a large company who is very new to Windchill. I've been tasked to "audit" Product PRs, CRs, and CNs with the end goal of understanding which ones conform to our specific Global Change Process and which ones are leaving things out. For example, I'd like to be able to generate a list of recent Problem Reports and then have the ability to look at a individual report and verify if the user added a Number, Name, Requestor, Problem Category, etc etc. when they generated a problem report. Any suggestions or better ways to go about this would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

I am fairly new to ThingWorx and is still figuring my architecture on a project.I have for now a data table.My devices loads data into this table (as we speak).I need to manipulate this data and draw statistics from it and write this stats into other data tables.The stats I will then display in a mashup.1. How do I write a service that will extract data from the data table (these will be similar to writing queries in a SQL DB)?2. How will I add new sets of data into data tables (not row by row)?3. Where can I find documentation to assist the above?

Hi all,        I have been trying to get this drawing program to work out, but it seems that it has gotten the better of me.   So here's the deal, I have an assembly that has about 7 different configurations. Only about 2 of these are children, and the others can be any number of combinations. For example ( i will refer to the parts as letters and the states as numbers)   parts: a, b, c, d, e, f, g possible states:  a, ab, abc, abcd, abcde, abcdef, abcdefg                          b, bc, bcd, bcdf, bcdfg.... and so on and so forth....   so here is my question.   if i define a state (a) as all the root parts plus an extra view (a), then another as state (b) as all the root parts plus an extra view (b) ...... and so on..   can I do this?   if a      set state (a) else if a & b  &nbs

After the Lithium transformation, Every day at first time opening ptccommunity, I am getting the Certification failure error from the Browser. I was tried with Firefox and Chrome. The web page blocked by both browser and then I have to manually get the certificate from the site then reopening the page. Please fix the issue.

Anyone,Is there a way to use more then one defined state at the same time in creo drawings?I created a model that can change its geometry acc to parameter settings. therefore I need to display a lot of different dimensions for each model state.To cover all diferent situations of the model with 1 state for each situation, I would have tocreate about 2500 diferent states, and turn these on and off woth drawing program.If there is a way to use more then one created state at ones this would reduce the number ofstates to be created substantionaly.Or is there an other way to acomplish this?Kind regards,Ronald

I have the acceleration data (a) for a specific time (t) and I need to get the acceleration (ug) for a different time (tmod), using linear regression. When I try to code it I always get an error. Hi everyone,   I have a problem with my custom action validators. I created some custom actions and attached custom validators to them. I extend the DefaultUIComponentValidator class and override the preValidateAction function. The possible results based on the verifications are DENIED or ENABLED. However when I log in with a user that is not added to any organization (Site level user) and added as Member to a product, I don't see the action. Using jcaDebug it tells me that the action is HIDDEN by my validator. How is this possible? I don't set it to HIDDEN in any case. This is only happening if the user is not added to any organization.   Thx in advance for suggestions! BR, Tamás

We require that authors of Change Requests populate the Change Review board (CRB). As most users submit CR's to the same people every time, its helpful for those users to Copy a list of users from a role from one CR into anther.  The users in the same role in M010 can do this, but for some reason the users in M020 cannot do this. They do not see the icons for paste. They do see copy.   I have checked the Configuration Actions for Roles and do not see anthing obvious that would hide the paste icon. I have also checked the Access Policy - again nothing that would hide the action. I am using the same CR workflow and Team. So  I have a slight issue. I need to script a repeatable process which utlizes both CREO and Windchill. The case is - sometimes we got a request to download certain file from company database, and then convert it to specified format, then e-mail back to a requestor. It's a deadly repeatable process, which I thought could be easily automated.I wanted to maintain a following chain of actions: 1) Mail request gots to Outlook, it runs a rule which opens a script.2) Script opens Creo, logs into appropriate database. 3) It opens Windchill Cabinets, searches appropriate drawing  number with data extracted from mail. 4) With use of appropriate rules (without checkout, latest or as stored state) it downloads appropriate drw to workspace, opens it. Then runs a mapkey converter. 5) After all it runs sorting script, which puts converted file in appropriate cloud drive, and sends mail back to user.   While steps 1,,2,5 are relatively easy and doable with powershell, python or VBA, I

Hi,I have list widget. When an item is selected from the list and double clicked, the selected item needs to be send to my custom services, but always first element is being sent. Below is the mapping diagram. As you can see the data into list widget is populated from service GetDataTimeInterval service. And once the item is selected and double clicked 2 services are invoked GenerateFFT and GetHighestFrequencyComponent. But each time an item is selected only the first item from the list is passed.
