Updatde the ThingWorxView for the hololens from the  Microsoft Store https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9nblggh555ttbut when using the Windows Device Portal and  try to record or show a live view in the Mixed Reality Capture - in this case  the ThingWorxView does not work.Also tried the  hololens recording function directly in the device panel - and this also leads that the  ThingWorxView will not ask for the thing mark and will not  display any experience.  Is anyone aware of this problem?Thanks!

Hi everyone,I want to enable the "Add to Workspace" action for guest users in a library. On the team view if I open up the "Configure Actions for Roles" the checkbox is not visible for the Guest role.I found the roleaccessprefs.xml file in codebase, where I can make the "Add to Workspace" action available and enabled for guest role. However this will make the new libraries created have the checkbox available and enabled, but the already existing libraries will not be updated. How could I update the existing ones?Thx in advance,Tamás

The ubuntu version is 16.04.Can Thingworx 7.4 be installed in ubuntu 16.04?Or Can Thingworx 8 be installed in ubuntu 16.04?Or need I go back to ubuntu 14.04?I have already a Thingworx 7.4 installed in Windows and developed something in it.Can I migrate the code from windows to ubuntu thingworx? and how?Thanks!

I'm importing a .wrl file into Creo Illustrate. After the import I observe that the model has been scaled up almost 1000 times. For eg. When I measure the model in NX, it is 2000mm but in Creo it is 2000 metres. Why is it getting resized ? And the model continues to be too big in ThingWorx Studio as well. Please help. Are there any properties to be set before importing a file into Creo ?

Hi everyone.  New to Thingworx.  I am creating a mashup.  Added a panel, added an image in the panel.  Then added an LED display and bound my device value.  Click save, viewed, all looks good.  I now want to add a Label.  I drag drop the label but it disappears.  So I try any widget.  No widgets will stick to my mashup.  Just the original two  image panel and led display.Ummm have I clicked something I shouldn't have?

I would think that this has to be possible....I have created a 'model library' of many of our components. When I create an assembly using these components, I need to copy the components to the same folder where the assemblies and drawings are saved, otherwise when I open them the components fail to load. Is there a setting somewhere that can tell Creo Parametric to look for components in a specific folder rather than the current folder, so that they all don't need to be in the same location?This would make life much easier!Thanks in advance for any insight you all may have on this!- Dave

When i scan the thingmark and bring up the experience,and then walk away/around from the thingmark, the model also follows.It doesnt stick to its location. It doesnt zoom out even when you are significantly away from the Thingmark..

Hi! I have been trying to convert a matlab function into mathcad 14. The function is attahced in matlab format.(lpsd.m) During this convertion i have found some difficulties with a native matlab functions. The BSXFUN. If you check that lpsg.m file you can see the bsxfun function inside a for cycle. Does anyone have any idea how can I solve this?   thanks for your time people! Cheers!

We are working on getting a server spec'd out to go from 10.1 M050 to 11.0 M030.   The document CS254192 on PTC's site states "Windchill PDMLink 11.0 M030 will not be supported with Microsoft Windows Server 2016" but nothing at all about when it WILL be supported.   Does anyone know when 2016 will be supported?

Pictures in the posts are unclear, they are being resized (scaled down). Also, you can't "open" or "view" those pictures. The only way is to zoom in with my webbrowser (to 250%).   Am I missing something?

Is there a list of description options somewhere for CP4 M010?   Or is it possible to export config options with the description included?

Note that the UpdloadedFile class in the Axeda Platform v1 SDK only has a Start Date field, but no field for the completion date.  However, there is a column that contains the End date in View All of uploaded files for an asset.  How do I get this information into a custom object groovy script?

Hello Thingworx Community!I am having an issue with keeping the focus on a certain textbox after my mashup loads and I'm hoping someone has a solution or an idea on how to go about helping me with this problem!I have a mashup and in that mashup I have a contained mashup.  The contained mashup has a grid within it.  When the mashup first loads, the focus is on the textbox I want. But then as soon as the contained mashups grid loads, the focus jumps to that grid. I can't seem to figure out a way to stop the focus from jumping to the grid in the contained mashup and keeping it on the textbox I need the focus to be on.Any ideas?Thanks for your help!

Hi,Has anyone else found while running a Non-Linear analysis with contacts that Creo Parametric Simulate loses the network license?The license server needs to be on a separate computer on the network..With the license server installed on the workstation performing the analysis the error message goes away and the analysis appears to run up to 20 minutes faster.Have any of you seen this message?Thanks,Don Anderson
