How (what is the best way) I can export a chart (time series chart) as a PDF document and/or as image file? I want to add an export option in a mashup so I can export the time series chart as a PDF document and/or as image file.

I have a 38784 DTD. The major content section of this DTD is the chapter element. How can I have writers working on different chapters at the same time?Surely there must be a way to chunk it up into different files, be able to parse them individually, and somehow pull them altogether at publication time. Hello,I seem to be having an issue regarding if/then statements in regards to Mathcad not recognizing my the initial "if" statement due to an error in my "else if" statement.When x does not equal 0, I get an answer.However, when x does equal 0, I get "can't divide by zero" error, and the program does not recognize that the first statement is true an should report the respective value.Is there anyway to get around the zero in the denominator error? I know it's probably an easy fix, but I can't figure it out. Anyone have any ideas?Thanks,C

Folks,I'm trying to invoke a service and pass filter parameter in "GenericThing" template. The service returns all data ignoring the filter.  I need the service to return data based on filter parameter. Any help is appreciated. I have a Thing that has a InfoTable property named alarmList. The alarmList has a Image type column named picture, this column has a default image in definition.When I use AndroidConnectedThingClient (which extends ConnectedThingClient)'s method invokeService or readProperty to get the alarmList, I get the TimeoutException everytime.The invokeService just invoke a service simply return the alarmList property.I got the log from the logcat like below:I found "de.tavendo.autobahn.WebSocketConnection: fail connection [code = INTERNAL_ERROR, reason = WebSockets internal error (java.nio.BufferOverflowException)".I think it's meaning the return data is too big to make the under layer program's buffer overflow or just because some bug in the under layer to make this happen?When I use REST API to do the same thing, everything is OK, the alarmList's content is returned, it has several rows and each row (include it's definithion) has a image data encoded in Base64 like below.Is it meaning that yo

Hello,We would like to create a item(like Issues) when some actions are occured in other program.(git)but we could not create a item without Password(or login).It is possible to create ChangePackage only using the user's ID, in "PTC Integriry Git Integration"(from the 10.9 version),the plugin(?) does not use a user's password anywhere.We want to use a similar way, but I can not do it without a password.Please let me know how we can accomplish this functionalityKind regards,Kim

Hey there,I have an advanced grid filled with data in my mashup and what I want to do is to find a specific entry in that grid. The data the grid is filled with is not based on a data table, but on multiple instances of a ThingTemplate. I have already ticked the EnableGridSearch property and positioned the searchbox in the mashup.But I do not know how to operate with the QueryFilter-property.I have already read the Advanced Grid User Guide but it does not really help me to implement it because I am not familiar with the query parameter and query services at all.My grid looks like this at the moment and want to search for a specific AC Tag:If anyone has already worked with the advanced grid widget I would be so grateful if you could explain it to me!Thank you so much in advance Theresa~

Am writing service to add or update record in data table and input to my service is "Tag" which will hold value like "Temperature".My data table has fields like device_name, temperature, flow, pressure, etc (8 other fields).So at run time i will get to know which field to update of data table but "AddOrUpdateDataTableEntry" service takes "values" in its params and this value is like emptyinfotable which gets created like this :var values = me.CreateValues();values.DeviceName = deviceName;values.Temperature = value;values.Pressure1 = value;values.Flow = value;i dont want to check if tag value is "temperature" then values.Temperature = value because i need to write 10 if conditions as i have 10 fieldsam unable to append tag value(temperature) to values.how to create variable for above values at run time?

What is purpose of the function ProExtdataLoadAll in C Toolkit?Looks like I can read external data using ProExtdataSlotRead without calling ProExtdataLoadAll.So, what is ProExtdataLoadAll? Data will be loaded to where?

The installation instructions PDF instructs the user to move platform-configuration.json to /ThingworxPlatform. I can't see this file anywhere in the downloaded installation files from Thingworx. Am I missing something?Also, it seems like the json in the example platform-configuration.json (installation PDF appendix B) is invalid. I'm seeing at least an extra comma after "msadmin". Can anybody confirm?

In the previous version, I was able to search for tags with specific IDs. For example, I could search for an xref with xrefid "ABC".  In 5.4 I can't find that feature anymore.  It use to be under the Find tool in the menu bar.  Did this feature get removed, or do I have to configure a certain setting or preference?

In developing an extension for the marketplace, it is acceptable for an extension to have a dependency on another extension? Additionally, is there a particular way this should be done? I presume distributing the existing extension along with our extension would not be allowed. The specific case I'm considering is the free MQTT extension.

Dear all, among other problems (reported and unsolved) with release 19 of Drafting, such as unexpected and inexplicable mouse double clicks or missed clicks on command buttons, I'm searching for solution to a tedious setting. I'm talking about the WUI_CHANGE_DIM window: anytime you use it to edit the features of a dimension, the "Line" and "Text" forms of this window will show the brand new colour option flags "Connected to line" and "Connected to text". If you click OK without unchecking them, you'll get both line and text with the same colour... How should I set them as unchecked by default??? I would just hope this is not a matter requiring a direct implication of Mr. PTC himself with a team of programmers. Thanks to anyone who should care for this. Marco
