I am doing some cost analysis in the attached sheet. I want to show visually the shapes of the three curves which if I plot each separately is easy to do. However, because the scales are so different I am struggling to find a way to show the shapes of the curves visually on one plot as they appear as straight lines when plotted together. Any tips?Andy

I have tried everything; there no way to select the drawing xhatch and change spacing or angles. I have looked up all the online answers and my GUI doesn't not have a modify xhatch. Please help

Hi again!I'm trying to solve the deflection of a beam with a constant load along it's length.I have a differential equation of 4th degree with four initial conditions.The moments in the bearings are zero and the deflections as well.Now my question is: Why don't i get a solution with "Gdglösen" in MC15 although i initialized four conditions?Error Message: "to few conditions"Any help appreciated!Best regards, Volker...next step will be: Solve the same task in MP4 with Units.

Hi,I have a thing which has one of the property as Infotable. I have a custom service which aims to get this infotable property and add rows to infotable each time this service is invoked.  I see that there are few properties like GetStringPropertyValue,  GetLongPropertyValue , etc ​which returns the specific property for the given property name. Is there any similar service which returns me the property of type infotable? Note : The service i have developed is in java extension.Thanks,Azim

The problem is this:rounded dimensions are causing problems no known way to search for which dimensions are rounded and which are not except by opening ever dimensions propertiesall new drawings have config setup to have rounded dimension value deselected but checking drawings that have had changes made by others without this config activated brings up the issue.Possible solution to the problem:finding a way to search dimension that have been rounded.

Hi guysI am pretty new to Mathcad and hope somebody can help me. I need to know the forces and torques acting on a flat spring I have in my machine. In order to do so I have to solve the 2nd order differential equation and put in the boundary conditions shown below. FMy and MM are not known. In order to solve the equation with odesolve() I have to give values for all constants and it can only solve the problem for two boundary conditions. This is not helpful since I don't know FMy and MM. What would be a smart approach to solve this problem?Regards, Daniel

I watch the video tutorial: Thingworx Mashup Exercise 08 Create a Mashup to View and Modify the information in the SQL Database - YouTube, but how to create a similar service still no idea to me.    2) Dropdown list selection as a input to an image path. Following procedure does not work...1) Put the grid on the mashup.2) Set "IsEditable" property true.3) Bound "All Data" from "XXXThingTemplate#GetImplementingThingsWithData".4) Open the Widget Config window of the grid.5) Check "Editable" for each property.6) Save & View Mashup.All of the columns are still Read-Only.(, while Property Value widget works well..)Are there any thing yet to be done?Version 6.5.8 b-4

Servers and desktops were not too bad an I have found various methods to do this.Connecting Printers is a bit of a different challenge. For example. Our multifunction office printer is an OKI and has web services.This is the view via PostmanThis is some additional information via web servicesThe problem with this that the data is unstructured and in tables in html format.I have created a generic remote thing and a service to pull this data.Which basically gives me this.Any ideas of a better approach to this.?Thanks in advance.

I'm keen to connect Thingworx to SQL Server as the persistence provided now that it is an option with 7.4. However I am struggling to make the database connection. My ApplicationLog.log persists in showing message: Unable to initialize and start system: Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database! ​despite everything I've tried.I've confirmed that my user/password is the same I used to create the SQL Server db using the PTC provided scripts. I confirmed this by logging in to the db via SQL Developer and a JDBC driver.I've attached my ApplicationLog.log file along with my platform-settings.json file (user/password is twadmin/wcadmin for dev environment sake)If anyone has successfully connected could you share your platform-settings.json along with any tips you might have uncovered?Thank you!Greg

In the attached MathCAD 3.1 worksheet and screenshot I'm attempting to determine the left reaction force for three beams of the same length with different loadings. The equation works for one beam but I'd like it to work for all 3 (or more). Each row of the pp matrix gives the 2 loads on each of the 3 beams. The y vector gives the load application point on each beam (it's the same for each beam).My question is, how do I iterate the equation for R over the three beams such that the resultant is a [3x1] vector giving the R (reaction) for each beam?

I've created a thing based on a generic thing and added a service to ShowLocationOnOpenStreetMap.  ​The service has output type: Location. ​On my mashup i have a tree view, the SelectedBreadcrumb ​property of the tree is used as an input to my service. I call the service on the DoubleClicked ​event of the tree view. My tree view contains things that are based on three different thing templates: TNetwork, TPrimary & TAssetsList - each of which have a property defined as 'Location'. I then want to set the returned data of the service to the SelectedLocation ​property of my OpenStreetMap.When i test the service in design time the results come back as expected. But, in runtime, the location is only shown when i double click the Two tree elements where the thing template is TNetwork. Has anyone got any advice?

hello all,i am trying to get my head around integration by substitution.in a simple case of the integrand (x-1)/2 dx  I know the answer is (x^2/4)-(x/2).if I try to do this by substitution, I get a bit lost.ive gone as follows:u= x-1du=1*dxdx=du(u/2)du(u^2)/4(x-1)^2/4(x^2-2x+1)/4obviously this is not correct. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?‌

I have a couple of questions regarding the 2D Offset Section option in the Drawing.I am running CREO 3.0  M090I have created an offset section in my Assembly using the View Manager.the Sketch defining this offset section is a closed rectangle.when I exit the definition phase I get a warning "Created section must be open chain with two ends".The resulting offset section is exactly what II want.when I apply this Offset section to a Drawing view, I get exactly what I want in the Drawing.what does the warning "Created section must be open chain with two ends" mean?Does a closed offset section cause problems downstream?I am a little confused since CREO 3.0 lets me make these offset sections and apply them to a Drawing view.What am I missing here?

Hi,I opened up Studio this morning to work on some current projects and found that no matter what I have tried, neither ThingMarks nor Models show up on the Studio main Canvas? The Preview is still OK and everything seemed fine at COB last Friday. Have I missed an update or something? HelloI have created an extrude feature and cut a hole on it.Now, I would like to create axis pattern for a hole feature. I am able to set angle value as driven by parameter.I would like to make number of items also a parameter driven.It's not allowing me to update relation for number of items.
