Hi all,I am trying to create an stl file from an assembly (for export and import to a electrothermal simulation software).When I export the assembly as .stl, only one part is created / "meshed" (see attached picture), also when adjusting the parameters.Anybody with any advice what to do to export the complete assembly as STL?Thanks in advance!BestAnnemarie

Hi, I wanted to do a very trivial operation: create a reference datum plane in a drawing view. I did, but the message, with a yellow exclamation point, was:    Feature was created, but is not currently displayable in any view. The plane was in the "Datums" category on the view and in the Assembly, but was dimmed. The only operation I could do, as far as I tried, was "erase-unerase". What happened? Nic.

I have imported a large ray-file from Zemax (lots of datum curves, the part with the rays is 42MB) and now Creo (2.0 M180) is locking up after i move,rotate or pan the part. The movement is OK, but when I stop moving, then Creo is unresponsive. The grafic card (M3000M) is not stressed (load stays below 8%), but I do see that CPU load increases 5->13%. This only happens in an activated window, a non-active window doesn't have this problem. Is there an option to make this faster?

Hi,I use QueryNumberPropertyHistory service for DAD and DataConnect transformation as suggested:  link.The problem is that this service returns "only" 500 rows at maximum.How could I avoid this limit in order to obtain all rows from startDate to endDate?I have found also this service: QueryPropertyHistory . but it doesn't work properly because it returns all columns instead of one.Thank's a lotLuigi

I'm having another try at using fasteners, but like most things in Creo it's pretty tricky without a training course or an expert on hand.The diagnostics during meshing are returning the fatal error "Creo Simulate cannot pair the linked assembly elements near the highlighted entities. Try modifying the geometry to correct the problem."  It meshes fine with the fasteners suppressed.Here's one of the offending fasteners, with its details:The surface highlighted to go with the error message is the face of the rear component, that the flange is clamped up against.What's even more frustrating is that I had it working with just a couple of fasteners, so I added the rest; it then stopped working, so I tried a few things, then went back to just a couple, and now it still doesn't work!Could someone give me some pointers on how I should be using fasteners in this situation, please?  What is the mesher trying to do due to the fastener that causes it to fail?

I have a small programm trying to split a matrix depending on the content in the rows. Now I'm using the folling algorithm:take the row as submatrix on the actual positionstack that on one of the two alternative matrizes depending on a conditionUnfortunately this has a very poor performance both time and memory wise.Assigning the rows via i,j to a new matrix seems to be better. Any ideas why?thanks

Has anyone experienced this before?  The variable I type in comes out as grey, or grey out, and when you try to use it in a formula, it does not work?My worksheet was working fine before, but when I tried to do some "experiementing" with trying to disable certain regions, or certain areas, I get this problem.  I am not sure how to turn it back.I did find a "cure" in creating a completely new file, tested it to see that the variable and formulas show up as solid black and worked.  I then copied the entireccontents of the "grey formula" file to the new one, and the problems seems to be resolved,Not sure what is happening.  Thanks for any feedback so I know how to resolve it later if it shows up again.Dan

Hi,   I have a number of organisations in my model. I would like them all use the same home page mashup. The mashup has a network represented in a tree widget. Each organisation has their own network. If all my organisations use the same home page, is there anyway for me to tell in my mash up which organisation has logged in, so that I can write a service to load the correct network.   One solution I have thought to use is to  set the visibility of each network to the relevant organisation and then write a service that gets all networks. So long as I have set up the visibility correctly it should only return the one visible to the organisation.   I just wondered if there was a way to pass information (parameters) from the login mash to the home page. Hello,I have a problem with odesolve function in my algorithm in mathcad 15. The puprose is to receive deflection (and deflection curve) of statically determinated beam. The only load is prestressed which generates bending moment. According to Clebsch method I'd like to solve this equation in my case: So I was trying with and without units (You can see it in my file) and I didn't get even one working solution. I'd like to ask You for an advice, because I'm trying to use this function for the first time and I've got no more ideas what should be changed here.Greetings Piotr

Creo 4.0 was recently loaded on my computer and I am starting to familiarize with it.  We've been using 2.0 for a few years.My manufacturing sequences are not visible in the model tree.  I believe everything looks to be pulling from my tree.cfg and config.pro files.  The operations are there and can actually be played.  The tool list is there too.  I am just missing all the sequences.What setting am I missing?Thanks for any help!Matt

Hi!I'm trying to solve the deflection of a beam with a constant load along it's length.I have a differential equation of 4th degree with four initial conditions.The moments in the bearings are zero and the deflections too.Now my question is: Why don't i get a solution with "Odesolve" in MP4 although i initialized all four conditions completely?Without Units, it works!The Error Message is: Any help will be appreciatedThank you.Best Regards, Volker
