Hi,We have large amount of data stored in Thingworx Value Stream, and we show it in a Grid with binding QueryPropertyHistory, but problem is that after several searching the Value Stream data in Mashup, Thingworx processing time will rapidly slow down. And we also got this error report in Tomcat log:catalina-xx-xx.log:java.lang.IllegalStateException: Illegal access: this web application instance has been stopped already. Could not load [org.neo4j.kernel.InternalAbstractGraphDatabase]. We have a drawing that when we open it in Creo (2 m220) one component comes into the BOM at item 23, which then paginates the BOM table at the right number so the second colum aligns with flag notes. Save the file and all is good when reopened in a new workspace or on another computer.However, when we publish this file to PDF on the separate Windchill publishing machine, this item jumps to the top of BOM, item 110, and the BOM now has no item 23. This causes a shift and the note numbers no longer align with the item numbers in the second column.We have tried fixing the index but that does not help.Has anyone seen this behavior before?Could it be something in the publishing machine setup, it is running Creo 2 100.

Hello,Currently, the auto-numbering kicks in and renames all components according to the auto-numbering scheme when opening a 3D model in CATIA that is not saved in Windchill. I would like to delay this action until the 3D model is saved in Windchill. I came across this preference in Windchill 11.0 that seemed to be what I need, delay.autonumber.generation which allows you to switch behavior and delay number generation. Does anyone know if this setting is available in 10.2 and if yes, would it change the above behavior to what I want? If not, is there an alternative way to do it?Thanks much in advance!

We found this article which seems to match the problem we are facing:  https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS209167&lang=en_USe run the SQL against our Integrity Lifecycle Manager Server's database:SELECT ID, Name FROM Fields WHERE Content=null;and we found 2 records with null content.Suggested workaround is:For each Field that is returned, set a Description on the Field in the Admin GUI.Confirm that no fields remain affected by re-running the SQL statement above prior to upgrading to 10.7 in Production.But that workaround is not feasible, as we can't longer use the ADMIN GUI. We have to solve in other way.We need to know which fields we have to update and how , from the SQL database interface.Thanks to Everyone!!

helloI'm using the new extension "grid advanced" in release 1.1.1 with a getImplementingThingsWithData serviceI'm using Thingworx 7.3.2-b42The widget works fine except for sortinG.I have activated the sort option into the widget.I can see the small triangle to sort a column but the grid is not refresh when using it.Is there something to bind or to do to have it working ?

Hi all,I'm attempting to model a canted coil spring in WF4.0 but have only managed to model what is in effect a 'garter spring'. The difference being the coils of the canted spring are not perpendicular to the trajectory but are 'canted' over at an angle. These are sometimes referred to as 'Balseal' springs.Can anyone offer any help on this please?I've attached an image of the spring I've modelled as well as a photo of a true canted coil spring.Any help appreciated.Thanks.

What are your best practices in managing "bunches" of Creo licenses and users?Here is my particular situation:Bunch A: High end users that I want using Enterprise SE licenses then roll over to using Creo Essentials.Bunch B: Low end users that I want using Creo Essentials first then roll over to using Enterprise SE.My main concern is creating an artificial shortage for one group by not allowing them to roll over to the second choice.  We have enough licenses total,  but not if I start reserving licenses for one bunch or the other.I would like to use groups in the License options file,  but it isn't clear on how to set this up, or if it is even possible....   OR do I have to set the usage order in the Command Creation on the client machines?-marc

When I create the thing which inherits the properties from the template I would like that some of them will be readonly.The problem is, if I check ReadOnly checkbox from template, I'm not able to assign to the Thing a value after I've created it, sois it possible to switch a property for a single Thing into a readOnly after I've assigned a value? And, if so, what is the snippet?

Hello all,Is there an option in config.pro to disable version control in CREO? Or a setting in Options?Whenever I try to open a part that has the same name with another part in a different location, CREO 3.0 prevents me from doing that. The only way to get around it is to shut down CREO and start again, which is extremely annoying and time consuming. The error I get is in the picture below. Thank you, Colin.

When I set scale of view as 1/3 for example, in representation it shows 133/400. How do I make sure that whatever format i enter the scale; the same is represented?

Hello,I would like to startup CP 3.0/4.0 and automatically be in a specific working directory drive instead of C:\Prostart (We currently do not use a PDM server). I can't find any setting in my config that drives the current location to C:\Prostart.Does anyone know of a setting in config that will allow this?  Just FYI, I know that you can set it manually by right-clicking.Thank you!

Hello all,I've used these boards for a while but never had to post a question.  I'm stumped on setting the default font settings within a drawing.  What I mean by that, is that when I create a new drawing or add a new dimension, note, ect in an existing drawing, it is not set to what I need it to be per company drawing standards.I need my font to be "font."My config file includes:default_font ---> fontpro_font_dir ---> C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 3.0\M110\Common Files\text\fonts\The folder that pro_font_dir points to does not have "font" as an option.  They are all .TTF fonts.  Is "font" not an actual standalone font file? This brings me to an additional question:  When I'm in a new drawing, my default font is set to "CG Triumvirate" in Dimension Properties, ect.  I cannot find a setting within my config file that contains this, so what am I missing here?  There must be an additional setting somewhere driving this, correct?Any help would be apprec

Hi Team,we had to install postgres 9.4.5 db in our dev machine for thingworx 7.1.0 postgres version. By mistake, we have installed postgres 9.5 . But in a link, we also see that postgres 9.5 is not supported by thingworx. I have THINGs that will be created runtime by the user and these THINGs have some fixed properties and some others that will be created dynamically; the only thing those properties have in common is they are all NUMBER.Now, I have a gadget with a widget inside (let's say a LED widget) which should be connected by one of those dynamics properties.I cannot do it by composer since I don't know the properties in advance. My question is:is there a way to bind properties to a widget by service?So that I could make a gadget with a dropdown list and the value displaied changes according to what is selected by the list.Thanks

HelloI'm trying to make a simple program for road pavement design, in which the result of the first computation step is used for the second step, second to third, thir to fourth and so on.As attached is a sheet which shows what the program should do for 4 layered system,but I would like to make the program to work for n-layers.My tries are probably far from a working solution, so therefore I ask for help.

Will this be available to Academic groups as well?
