Hi!   I am working on a project regarding image analysis (object counting, area dimensions, etc..) Using 'canny edge detector' I isolate edges and fill object or background which interests me. I have tried using 'floodfill algorithm' from here:  https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/Objects-Counting/td-p/283337  but with bigger matrix, I have encountered 'not enough memory' issue.   So I wrote my own 'scanline floodfill algorythm'. Algorithm is colouring next pixels until it reaches pixel with value '1', then depending on direction in which it colours, and free space, it leaves seed with value 255(x+1) or 250(x-1). Then it checks the location of seeds and continues with colouring starting from this seed. (image is stripy because when writing, it was easier for me to find the loop which leaved UNcolored pixels) While I was writing my algorythm, it looked promising in terms of performance, but in final form it is very slow. I have no experience in programming

I have setup the Postgres DB in Red Hat Linux Machine. I have also followed all steps as mentioned in the pdf : http://support.ptc.com/WCMS/files/170230/en/Installing_ThingWorx_7.1_1.2.pdfBut while running the TW Postgres DB setup script mentioned in step 14, I am getting syntax errors.Please let me know how to resolve the issue. Hi Guys,I have another 2nd moment issue I am struggling with.This is the overall task:So far I have calculated the area, centroid and second moments for the waterplane as follows:andWhat I then struggle with is combining the second moments of the two shapes. I am of the belief that I can get the overall second moment of the entire waterplane by adding the two individual second moments about centroids i.e. JoL = JL (for the ship) + JL (for the appendage)I have JL for the ship and I believe to get JL for the appendage I need to convert the second moment about the aft perpendicular to the centroid which I thought could be done as follows:But I am obviously not getting the answer right for JL. I have also not even got to thinking how the overall JT value is obtainable?Any help warmly welcomed as always.Andy

Imagine a plain (x,y) with 3 points (x1,y1), (x2,y2), (x3,y3) at it, not positioned in a line. At each of the 3 points is fixed a straight wire with given length L1, L2, L3, protruding to z-space. I have a client who is using Prime 3.1 and I would like to share my Prime 4.0 file with them. I cannot see a "save as legacy" option and cutting and pasting doesn'r seem to work either.

How do I generate a color-coded contour plot with three columns of tabulated data in Mathcad Prime 4? I've seen articles on how to plot a z-axis with the x- and y-axes defined as functions, but I don't want to do that. I want to take my measured and tabulated x, y, and z data and put it in a contour plot. Thanks in advance.

I am making drawing of an assembly and stuck in a problem, I cant figure the way to do a cutaway of the assembly to show inside walls and edges. Help me out please. I am attaching an image of a drawing to make it clear what i am trying to do.

HelloI would like to create an alert (email or other) when a device is not refreshed for more than N minutes ?I had a look in alert but it is only "equal" or "not equal" tests for properties (and when it is updated)I probably need to create a timer and a service but I guess there is something already "packaged" for that as it is an usual need ?(I did not find easy answers in forum and documentation)Thanks

Is there any way to copy an existing Thingworx Studio project to a new project? Or even better, create a project template from an existing Studio project?

I've set up a CADworker with Creo 3 M100 and creo view 3.1 on a windows 2008 R2 VM. I setup 2 workers on this server. The CADworker works as expected for the most part, the only issue I have is that it takes 2 minutes to register the server. Regardless of whether or not the worker agent is started the bottle neck of the process is the 2 minute wait while registering the server. Is there some optimization I'm not performing? Thanks

Ok, this is probably pretty basic, but a user stumped me today with a part which he needs to modify by changing a wrapped sketch such that it is wrapped in the clockwise direction around a cylinder.  He asked why is the "reverse wrap direction" button grayed out.  Creo seems to only want to wrap in the anti-clockwise direction:  What am I missing?

All,I should know this by now. But I guess I have always dodged it and had another way to show things in orthographic section views.I want to show explode lines in line with how they are assembled.For example, the "red" drawn in line I show in my attachment.I am getting the resulting "blue" line currently. It's for another screw...but you get my meaning?How to I get the "red" result? Essentially the explode line tool asks for a beginning and an end. I need in a location in between as well.I see an edit explode line ability....which leaves me clueless. I can drag the lines only?Please help. Hello,In a mashup, I'd like a dropdown list that show multiple columns, like an infotable in a dropdown list. Do you have any idea how I can do that ?- The list of rows can be opened and closed like a dropdown (~widget list)- The row contains many columns like the widget grid (editable, checkbox...)- When the dropdown list is opened, it can overlay all widgets / layouts / rows that are below the listI tried to add a Grid in a Folding Panel for the effect of the dropdown list. But the size of the Folding Panel is fixed and it doesn't show a scroll when the Grid is longer than the Folding Panel.Thank you for your attention.Quang-Dung

I am trying to run the AWS IoT Connector demo with ThingWorx 7.3 but am not getting very far.  I'm using the instructions in README.txt but they seem to be incomplete and don't quite align with the directory structure of the zip file containing the README.txt file.For example, the third step in the second sequence says: "From within the repo directory go to aws-iot-dist-bundle/src/main/dist/demo, run npm install."  When I came this step, npm wasn't yet installed (although I'd installed nodejs already, via apt) and my directory structure doesn't contain aws-iot-dist-bundle/src/main/dist/demo.  I assume I should be in the demo directory that's in the root of the zip file – perhaps this is because I didn't need to clone the repo as it's all part of the zip file.Also, the first step in the third sequence says: "Generate a new thing on the AWS IoT and Thingworx platform simultaneously..." but as far as I can tell, nowhere does it say how, where or even whether to configure th
