Hello,     I have several start parts that I use to design fixtures.  One is a simple dowel pin 6.35 mm dia. I want to create a parameter that would display in a table the diameter which will always be 6.35 mm and the length which would vary. The capture below is what I tried but it displays in my table just as typed and does not display the d1 dimension which is my length. Anyone have any advice on the proper syntax to use? I am using Creo 4.0

Hi Team,I am new to Thingworx and still learning basic stuff. Can anyone help me with how to consume third party web services(REST API) in Thingworx?May be this topic is already discussed but i am not able to find it. . Do i need to do it using extension or EDGE will help me achieve this.My requirement is: I have to call http://......axeda.com/services/v1/rest/ services in Thingworx to read response and display it in Mashup.Please share any sample or tutorials or guides to do it. Hi,I'm trying to run Thingworx runtime as usual using URL but I'm getting a blank white page with no errors.Seems like Thingworx runtime page is loaded but Invisible.Also tried to run Composer page but again no luck.Even tried to run Thingworx composer from Tomcat Apache console but same blank page after passing username and password for Authentication.I had a RAM upgrade since its last working time but I guess that should not hamper Thingworx runtime/composer.Its a new kind of issue to me.Did anyone ever faced this same issue or anyone has comments on this?

I'm not sure why Creo does this so often, but it's getting really old to constantly try to fix. When I have a surface whether it be a fill, or another boundary that has a hole or surface extrude cut through it Creo will explode the entire model when that hole is filled in.. Please see pics for examples as I am having trouble explaining this. I'm wondering if there is a graphics config that I can change to help eliminate this problem. The workarounds are ModelCheck Regen, then mess with layers which doesn't usually help but has worked in the past. After several ModelChecks I can close the model and clear the session. This only helps maybe half the time. After that my last bet is to restart Creo all together. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

So today's challenge...So I have a problem to which I am given the answer. The real issue is that I need to understand how the answer is derived.I have attached a word document which gives the problem and the solution. Hi All,This started happening yesterday in Creo 2.0. See the attached images for reference. The problem is that the dimensions on the first feature of this model are showing up as 0 decimal places. The dim showing as 3 is actually 2.5 and the 1 is actually .875. But, as you can see, the subsequent features are behaving as they should, with 3 decimal places. I've got def_dec_places set to 3. I know that sometimes it's a memory issue, so I restarted Creo, no help. Any ideas on what's causing this?TIA

After a successful patch of CPS22 from CPS2. I received emails saying that I had several participants that were disconnected from LDAP. As far as I can tell there are no dependencies for the AmazonEC2InstanceManager_Application_v1_0.zip (within TW_Download_Amazon EC2 Instance Manager Application.zip which I downloaded from the Marketplace today) but when I try to install it, I get an error:EC2ManagementApp:1.0.0Import Failed: Validation Failure: ThingTemplate EC2InstanceManagerTemplate Had An Invalid Parent Thing Template : [AmazonEC2Template]Ironically, this is a validation failure but the validation step (before installation) succeeds!I'm using ThingWorx 7.3.0-b51 so perhaps there's an incompatibility there.Did I miss a step?

Hi I have made a layout file and created a parameter. Now the value of this parameter are varying from 100 to 350. I have declared this layout in a model and used this parameter in a model, but the problem is the model fails if the value fall below 250. So I want to enter a relation in such that regeneration of this model stops when this value falls below 250. How to go about it?

My configuration control experience is limited, but it seems like what I trying to accomplish should be possible.  I am thinking one of the following options would work for me, but I don't know what is possible in Creo Elements/Direct Model/Drawing Manager (17.0).     1) I have a large assembly, which in addition to having many individual components it also has many sub-assemblies as its components.  I would like to be able to EXPORT a BOM for the top level assembly and for all of the sub-assemblies, and so and so forth.  I know that this can generate a lot of data, but i want to be able to cross reference the BOMs to our storage facility to make sure we have received all the parts.   2) A second, not as efficient, method would be if there was a way to write a script that could take a list of part numbers as input and then output the BOMs individually.  Is there any way to interact with Model Manager via scripting?

Can anyone tell me how to define for example x/y as a value I.e 1? This is in context of a ratio. So I'm looking to define a ratio so that when I insert it in a formula MathCAD knows what the ratio value is? WHen hen for example I write x/y I'm not allowed to define this I.e pressing : does nothing.Cheers A

Hello,I am facing an issue with the tomcat server on which thingworx is deployed. My thingworx instance is handling large amount of data.Sometimes, my tomcat crashes and I get an error related to java heap space. I lose all the thingworx related data.I would appreciate any help regarding,What is the issue?
