Hello ptc community, Is it possible to get an overview to loading cycles. For Example a big assembly should get loaded to Creo, my point of view at Creo 4.0 is, that i only can watch at the taskmanager that the file gets loaded (throgh looking at the RAM load, CPU and GPU have not much to do at that state). Also between loading utilizations the programm is kind of locked until the File is completly available.I think a progress bar maybe with a percentage value would give an overview of the task. For program commands (for example: clusters) there is already a progress bar that shows the final calculated geometry that has been clustered. Yours sincerelyAlexander

An issue was brought up last week by 2 of our users wanting to work with skeleton models. Users were reporting "Assembly license is required to use this functionality.", this was showing when trying to populate their assembly without existing skeletons. After further investigation I noticed all features of the AAX module are missing. We're not sure when this started, but has anyone noticed similar behavior?  Creo+ V12.2.0.0-020Windchill+ V12.1.2.12

Is it possible to open SolidEdge model in Creo assembly using Creo Unite Technology?

We are running Windchill 12.0.2.12 with Creo 9.0.7.0. In the last few weeks, we are seeing workspaces suddenly going to offline mode. Windchill was installed over a year ago and Creo 9.0.7 was installed in November. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this behavior? If not, then I will work with our IT department and see if there is something with the network that would cause this. I think I have the config.pro options set to maintain connections.

Is there a way to change the license server for an existing Mathcad Prime installation without using the GUI within Mathcad? I haven't found anything besides changing the XML file for silent installs, but that's only for before it is installed. I'm able to achieve this for PTC Creo by changing a line in the parametric.psf file and would like to do something similar for Mathcad. Using various versions of Mathcad- 9, 10 and 11.

This one has had me confused for about a month so I am turning to the Community. PTC Tech Support call  was opened on March 21 and nothing back to help. Instead of the usual "Can we do a Teams session?', the support engineer replied that he had sent the issue to R&D. We run Creo from a single install on a network server, have since Wildfire 4 days. Procedure is to the install on a Windchill server, which doubles as the Publishing machine for CreoView, and then copy the install folder over to the network drive and edit the parameteric.bat file to change the file location. This has worked great. Wehn the CreoAgent program came into play, we do the same thing, using an environment variable in a start batch file that we call from parametric.bat. This has worked through Creo 4, Creo 7, Creo 9 and somewhat in Creo 11.  I have 2 sets of Windchill/Creo servers and one is air-gapped due to data security reasons. I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.4.0Having issue in Search path file, not able to read from folders path provided.

We are trying to use Creo performance advisor , but information from the machine is not arriving on the panel , we have already unblocked the Firewall and antivirus , we did a telnet test as shown in the following print , and I also put the site https://apps.ptc.com in the browser and the error Http/1.1 Service Unavailable appeared , would I need to do anything else for this CREO to appear on the panel ? I'm running Version 8.4

I have 1 user who is only getting a black background in Creo 11.0.3.0. We just upgraded last Friday from Creo 9. His colors were fine in Creo 9. We have removed his local config.pro and creo_parametic_customization.ui files and restarted Creo 11 and still just a black background. Even trying different Creo color themes (Dark or Light) do not change his display. The Creo 11 install is on a network drive and everyone uses the same start up files.  Anyone have any suggestions on what else may be causing this issue. There are at least 4 others on Creo 11 without any issues.

Hello everyone,We are working with Creo using a floatting licence. The users are not on the same site, we do not have a cloud because we are sensitive to the professionnal data protection. As a consequence, we share data with our Nas synology with VPN acces. To make the floatting licence available for all users we would like to create a container with container manager on the Nas to run flexnet licence manager. As of today, I couldn't fine any data to manage it. I am looking for a docker_compose.yml file and for la flexnet image that works for Creo.Does any of you already set up a such configuration ? if yes, could you please send me your files and process ?Thank you very much !Alexia 

I noticed in Creo 10 that if I save a model tree configuration showing specific columns etc, that it is saving as a .ui file. It appears to me that this file is saving more than just the columns displayed in the model tree, it's saving all the modifications to the .ui that are present in the current session of Creo.  I find this a bit disconcerting. I only want to have a file that changes what columns are displayed in the model tree. Which is what the .cfg file did and still does in Creo 10, but there appears to be no way to create a .cfg file in Creo 10.  We have in our loadpoint a .ui file that all users see. Then in the cache location we have a .ui file that is specific to that division. I am using Creo Simulate Release N/A and DatecodeN/AHello,We currently have a Creo Design Essentials license installed on the host ID WIFI A8-64-F1-1A-D7-13, which is set to expire soon. Therefore, we would like to remove this license and replace it with the one currently assigned to host ID F8-75-A4-F4-DA-89.Could you please proceed with transferring the license from F8-75-A4-F4-DA-89 to A8-64-F1-1A-D7-13? Additionally, could you confirm that the user currently using A8-64-F1-1A-D7-13 will not encounter any issues when reinstalling the license after the transfer?

Hi, I opened creo parametric M110 this morning and can't seem to get the embedded browser and Windchill to work. I can connect to Windchill and open parts, just not through the browser. In fact, the browser window is there but stays on on a blank white page. So "workspace" and  "windchill cabinets" buttons don't work and neither does manually typing in any web url. I have tried switching between ie and chrome in config, nothing seems to work though. Thanks

Hello, does anybody have UDL files for editing Pro/Program and Relations with Notepad++? I've already set the config option "pro_editor_command" to my Notepad++ installation path (to use N++ instead of Notepad.exe) and I was wondering if anybody has already uploaded UDL files somewhere. I want to create a create a special BOM Balloon symbol.   Basically the request if for a vertically stacked set of balloons with additional common symbology.  I want to be able to allow a user to switch between different configurations of the symbol.  When switching configurations the text the user has already entered to be persistent.   The video below shows how the attributes are lost when switching between the  bottom to top leader configuration. Also included is a screen grap of the ungrouped symbol elements and the symbol attributes. (view in My Videos) Creo 9, 10, 11

I created the assembly and parts using creo parametric student version. When I open and press the edit button for hatch. It gives an error which I attach as a screenshot and then the creo crashes closing all the windows. Previously I was able to edit from assembly or part 3d model enivrment. The first time I got this error when I tried to edit the hatch in the drawing environment and after then I am not able to edit it in either the environments.This appears from pressing the hatch edit button from the design tree in the sections part. Thank you for your help in advance. Regards

Hello everybody I just installed Creo 9.0 on my computer. The installation didn't end well since I have a message saying the installation of virtual c++ redistribuables failed.I could not find the reason why.So I installed directly the visual ++ package, from Microsoft site, and it wen't well.But as I try to launch Creo 9 parametrics 9.0.0.0, with the shortcut that appeared on my desktop, the hourglass briefly changes and return to its normal aspect, and nothing happens : Creo won't start.Could anyone tell me if you see any solution, or even a log file to look into to understand what happens ?Many thanks in advance for your help.

Martin,   I am trying to setup IFX on a network.  I believe I have everything setup correctly but get a similar error to the one above.  Using your solution and running IFX through the creo load point, everything works fine just like in this post.  The problem I have is when I point the IFX configuration PATH_ABS_LIBRARY to my network location I get the hole_com.cpp error.  Can you help with this?
