Hi,How to speed up calculation/plotting/update time for vL1(t)?Try changing for example value of R1 from 1 to 2, and compare the time needed for the two graphs to update each other.vL1(t) plot will take longer to update than iC1(t) and vC1(t) plot. There are some ways to reduce calculation/plotting time for vL1(t)? Or what is the reason of why vL1(t) take much longer time to calculate/plot/update than iC1(t) and vC1(t) calculate/plot/update plot time?

simple question: Does anyone know why you can add materials to assemblies? You used to not be able to do this, but in Creo 5 you can. You still can't assign any material to the assembly, so what's the point of being able to add materials to it? They don't seem to be used for anything? Does anyone have a use case for this? why was this functionality added?

In Creo 10.0, items in the "Remove surfaces" field in the shell feature dialogue box cannot be replaced later using the "Edit References" command; they must be removed and reselected from within the Shell feature tool.  The "Edit References" option is greyed out when the shell feature is selected. This is unusual behavior among Creo features, in which lost surfaces can be replaced by newer surfaces by using "Edit References" without entering the feature tool after the feature has been created.  This is useful when you prefer not to redefine and reselect manually, e.g. drafted wall become straight.  I don't recall that this was the case in earlier versions.   Is it a bug?

Out of nowhere I am having an issue when trying to modify dimensions in the Sketcher.  Typically, I was able to modify dimensions by double clicking and then making the change and moving to the next, but now I am unable to do that.  When I double click the dimension will briefly highlight (like normal) then quickly closes before I can modify it.  I have been forced to always use the Modify Dimensions wheel which I used to use occasionally when locking the scale for making changes to the sketch.  Anyone experiencing this?  IS there a fix?  Any help would be greatly apprciated.Steve

Hi all, I just have a question about showing dimensions with Creo Parametric 7.0.11.0 . I know some work-arounds, but I am just curious if this is possible... When I make a driven dimension in a part file, I can show that dimension at the higher level in the assembly model. I can't, however, show that dimension in the drawing? It does work with other annotations like datums or notes, but not driven dimensions. I can get it to work if I put all of the driven dimensions in the part into an Annotation feature and then show that, but that seems like a weird workaround? Is this the intended functionality and I'm just trying to do things a weird way? Attached is some screenshots of a test assembly. Also the reason I am doing it this way is that I have an inseparable assembly with helicoils, pins, etc... and my company is still stuck with Creo 7. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi everyoneI have an issue with the distance tool in Creo View Express.If i open an DRW file (created in Creo 7.0.2.0) in Creo View Express, and use the distance tool for measure something, the measure result is incorrect like a wrong scale.But the scale of the DRW is 1:1 and in Creo View Express are 1:1.I noticed that the error of the measure follow the dimension of the sheet in the DRW file (see the attacment).But if i export the DRW file in DWG file, and i open the DWG file in Creo View Express the measure are ok.Some one can help me? thank you

I used the same inputs in mathcad and excel considering the units , however I get different results in mathcad for Mi and f2 . Do you have any clue ?

I hope you are doing well. I need to take this sheet a step further.  Now after we get 24 matrics . I need to find the minimum value in each column in each matrix. For example: matrix Linters 23 will have a matrix of the minimum values of each colunm . I tried to do it as follows but couldn't get what i want since it gives me the minimum in the whole matrix . I need  the minimum in each column in each matrix.Like in excel you select the colunum and find the minimum in that column. Sorry for bothering you a lot. But I genuinely appreciate your help

Using Creo Parametric 7.0.9, is there a setting that the tabs of the combined views on the bottom of the page are ALWAYS shown? I've set the config.pro option display_combined_views to yes which is better because then they are easily accessible, BUT...When I for example click on "Edit dimensions" in a model, then the tabs are hidden, this is not a problem but what causes it is that the size of the window will get slightly larger and then the shown dimensions jump also a bit lower which causes that you just click next to the dimension you want to edit, VERY annoying..  (view in My Videos)

I have 2D arrays with multiple peaks in the array.  I need to extract the centroids of each peak.  I have MCAD14 with all the extensions but am not seeing any function that will help with that, but trying to avoid writing the whole matrix search algorithm myself. I'd like the array positions of the centroids of the peaks shown in this plot as the red peaks.Any ideas that make this simple?Thanks.

*I thought this was a customer service ticket, thanks for any help the community can provide*Attempting to install Matchad Prime1.0 on new computer after previous one stopped working. I currently am logging in under trial but it should be a full version (my understanding). I have entered the product code listed for this Open Ticket, and during the installation I provide my username and password for this PTC account. When I try to proceed the installation from this step I get the error 'The remote server returned and error: (403) Forbidden'. I'm just curious what this error code means, how to rectify, and if this is something we can fix with the product code I have been provided. This was also initially purchased and installed some time ago so I am curious if there is an issue with things being out of date. Thank you.
