I hope you're all doing well. I've recently encountered a challenge while working on my CAD drawings, and I'm in need of some guidance. Specifically, I'm looking for a way to move the callout arrowhead to the center of a hole in my drawings, rather than having it point to the edge of the circle. I believe this adjustment would enhance the precision and clarity of my designs.

Hello All,I am having an sample assembly (with 2 sub part in it) on which I am running Modelcheck on all level on main assembly. Showing me  0 error.When I open subpart & ran Modelcheck showing an error layer. My question is, why sublevel error is not picked by Top level modelcheck run even after I ran for all sub level. I am trying to create a title block for my template and currently facing an issue with Creo Parametric where the "Report Symbol" is not showing up as expected. I don't even see it under 'data' Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, could you please guide me on how to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Guys, with the objective of creating a project with sheetmetal parts of various sizes depending on variables, which is better: creating the project using skeleton and publish geometry, or working with flexibility and datum planes? From what I saw, publish geometry references all components in the skeleton, and there would be no way to generate flat files (necessary for .DXF for laser cut) for each part using family table. Would it be possible? 

Hello,i don't want to read excel file to get the material properties for a given section. As you can see in the attached file, i copied the material section properties and pasted it into mathcad prime. Is there a way the user can select the material as i am showing below the table TC= " A22B", and have it look up certain section properties. I was able to do it in MathCAD 15. Thanks,Sam 

IS there any way to reposition the SIZE callout of a datum target balloon?   So for this example, is there a way to move the "50X100" so that things are clearer?     

I've been working on a project using Creo and I've encountered an issue that has me stumped. I noticed that even after I've locked the centerline, it still moves unexpectedly. This happens even though no additional forces or constraints are being applied to it. (view in My Videos)

Dear all,As far as I understand the issue - it's born in the Light scenes, where shadow areas appear grey. We facing the issue in Creo Illustrate - and looking for a light scene that I can adjust the lights are best for the used figure.But just switching from headlight to 1,2 or 3 light - making not the big difference.I would be more convinced if the light scene can really adjusted by placing the light.Are there plans to improve or extenf functions along light scenes?Or is there any workaround getting the original object color displayed, e.g. by disable lights completely? E.g. even that the left figure is not identical - the grey colored fridge frame is white, but appear due to light sceene grey. The right figure showing the expected result we want to achieve.RegardsRobert   

Hello,   I'm new here, hope to get the support I need with my first post.   As a designer engineer in rolling stock, I'm considering the use of Spec-driven piping within Creo Parametric 8, and working within EN standards I wonder if it is possible to define pipes with an alternative to the API schedule rating. For instance I got a copper pipe OD12 x 1mm thickness within EN 1057 which does not use schedule rating, so I don't know how to fill in the SCH_RATE in the Pipe Master Catalog csv file. Can I leave it empty? The alternative I thought is to fill the field with a made-up number/code but I'd rather to avoid this way. So does Creo Parametric Piping take in consideration piping out of API/ASME specs?   Thank you all in advance for your help!

I'm not entirely sure what steps to follow to accurately measure this distance within the software.I've looked into the 'Analysis' tab and found the 'Measure' option, but I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly. Hello,I'm new to the integrated mold analysis in Creo.However, the tool with it's fiber orientation calculation possibilities appears to be promising for my topics. For the part design and the regarding analysis, I'd be very happy to use the calculated fiber orientation in Creo Simulate calculations. Hello everybody, what is the difference of copy geom and mergein Creo Parametric? Both are techniques to share data. With the copy geom I can get data from one model to another model. For example the body surface, Then I can solidify this surface and I have the same result when using merge.  Thanks for your help.       

Hi I have a query on the backward compatibility of Mathcad Prime 9.Can I directly open in Mathcad Prime 9 the files created using Mathcad Prime 8 or Prime 7 ? I understand that for file created using Mathcad Prime prior to 7 and Mathcad 15, we would need a convertor.  Warm RegardsVijay 

Hi  - I am exploring the possibility of having the calculation logic in Mathcad file, and then having the .NET web app take the user inputs and then sends the input values to a Mathcad file running on the server, and then get back the calculation outputs from Mathcad - which will be displayed on the web app.  - Does the Mathcad API support the above scenario? I tried to check this link - Getting Started with the PTC Mathcad API | PTC | Mathcad - But it is not opening for me in either Chrome or Edge.  - When Mathcad is called, will the Mathcad run in the background - or for ex; in case of a .NET desktop app which is using Mathcad installed on that desktop,  can the user see the Mathcad window - when it is being called from the .NET code ?  RegardsVijay
