Hello,I'm using Creo Schematics version 7.0 and Windchill version 12.0.2.8.I want windchill to automatically update the sheet's revision and version. Please let me know if there is a method to have auto sync through Windchill since I'm currently entering both manually. Thanks.

In Mathcad Prime 8.0 the X and Y axis are reversed to what I normally see. Y is usually up and down. X is usually left to right. Is there a way to reverse the Axis definitions?
Hello, When I'm writing balloon note with a multi-lines it makes them as a separate balloons aligned Horizontally. Is there any method to make them aligned Vertically like this in one note like the previous one
I am trying to add a centerline to a part that I am making a drawing of.The center line is easy enough to sketch... but oh no CREO doesnt actually "attach" the sketched line to the part / model. This means if in ANY way the model changes the view might move around but the sketched line wont which creates ANY dimensions using that line now completely wrong. How can I constrain the sketched centerline TO the part so if the part changes size / moves / Any change is actually reflected in the drawing??Its basically pointless having the centerline not attached so no idea why it isnt by default. Its like CREO is literally from the 1960's with its drafting functionality.
I am unable to get the evaluation of Derivative in attached worksheet. How do I get it evaluated?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.0.0Help needed using the cabling reroute feature and route type. Have wires (cable) that I want to change the route type and also want the reroute others. The PTC help instructions are woefully inadequate to follow. I really prefer to speak to someone or a good video for these operations.
creo drawing ver 3.0my client has a symbol defined that is a triangle (lay it down sideways so it points to the left) with a number imbedded. It is used to identify a note that applies to the view feature. The symbol is used with blank for number and placed over the notes. When a pdf export is performed, the symbol has shifted location.attached are screen shots of creo drawing and pdf export. So far I have attempted entering blank spaces for the variable text and " ." (space space dot) and it does not seem to effect position.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 3.0 and DatecodeM140I have two problems:1. I am using a trimmed surface in my part model to show a identity (text). I do this by creating an offset surface and then trimming it with the text. In the part model it looks great. In the drawing view it looks okay and when I export as a pdf the edges of the surfaces are yellow making them difficult to see. I would prefer to show them in black or better yet to show the surface as filled black to the lettering is easy to see.2. The second problem I am having is related to default "font" shifting when creating a pdf. When I select "stroke all fonts" the resulting characters are in the correct location but look terrible. They have no thickness. Is there a better way?
Mathcad 15 would give me an indication that I was reusing a variable. Prime 8.0 does not give any indication that the variable is used again. Is there a setting to allow this feature? See attached.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM150Before the exporting in the drawing the text is there. After exporting in the drawing the text is not coming in the drawing.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM150before the export the text is coming after the export for the drawing the text is not coming. Here are the errors that I facedafter export text is not coming.
Hi All I created some templates for drawings. One element there is the information about the edge break.I did that on format level because i want them to have on every drawing sheet.anyway. there are situation, where we need to delete that. Unfortunately, this is not possible on drawing level now. is there any option how to delete it or another/better possibility to do such notes/tables/text which will be shown in every sheet of a drawing?the tables which are on the format i can delete on drawing level, this note not.. br
I need to machine several deep Fins ( around 50mm in depth), in order to machine safely, I need to machine one Fin zone and then move to another zone. I use Mill window + Volume milling, found that volume milling always cut slice by slice from one Fin zone to another, instead cut each Fin zone to full depth, and then move to other Fin zone.Could you please help me to solve this issue? thanks,
How to covert the solid weld feature to a component when save as to PVZ in Creo Parametric? Is it possible to set export_pvs.rcp to conver solid weld to component in pvz file displayed in Creo View? When I open assembly model with welding solid features, the function worked. Please help to check it. Thanks.
So I'm trying to call upon an existing simp rep called "Smd_Flat" and then activate it upon a solid sheet metal part in an assembly to get its flat pattern, however i keep getting a XToolkitBadInputs error. My code is below. This is for Creo Parametric 9.0.4.0.The method loadPart(leaf); just loads the part in a new window as the simp prep couldnt be found in the window with the assembly. Any help would be appreciated. Assembly assembly = getAssembly(); ComponentPath[] partList = MzkCommonUtilitiesCode.listEachLeafComponent(assembly); //Component path to solid array Solid[] leafArray = new Solid[partList.length]; for (int j = 0; j < partList.length; j++) { leafArray[j] = partList[j].GetLeaf(); } //Going through all subcomponents to get key properties for (int i =0; i < leafArray.length; i++) { System.out.println("\n"); printMsg("starting loop"); //getting leaf values Solid leaf = leafA
Flat to Screen placed symbol's height and location gets changed while changing its annotation plane to named model orientation using API ProDtlsyminstdataPlaneSet() in Creo Parametric through Toolkit.
Hello everybodyI am using Creo 7.0.2.0. My interface language is set to Russian. However, there is a section called "Intelligent Fastener" under the "Tools" tab, and it is in English. Could you please advise me on how I can translate the buttons in this section to Russian? I have tried searching various settings, but I have not found anything. Thank you for your assistance,
Hello All, In the attached snap of my assembly, i would like to constraint center point of half circular surface. For that, i was attempting to create rigid link between center point and surface of half circle. and added displacement at center point. Can you please suggest is this a right way to do it? Rigid link Thanks Ankur Shah
In Drawing of Creo 2.0 when I click on Annotate tab the fatal error occurs. The rest of the tabs are OK but annotate tab doesn't work. The error Log is attached, could anyone help me?
The standard dictionary is so bad that it does not understand basic engineering/manufacturing terms.Standard words like 'adhesive, anodize, balance, etc. are not recognized.
Hi, I'm trying to have a note as a custom symbol. I want to have it so that when I place the symbol Creo will automatically ask for input. For example we have a surface finish that when placed will automatically ask for a value. I have a profile of a surface tolerance with a number followed by 3 datums. This is in the note itself: I have \TOLERANCE\ as an attribute: I've looked at other symbols that automatically ask for a value but I can't figure out what the difference if for the life of me.
I have created a closed profile with sheet metal, but on the last two bends the corner is not closed and there is a chamfer there as shown in the following figures and attached file, how can I have a complete perpendicular edge there?
Hello,From what I can see, the number of plotted points that can be displayed by the plot is limited at about 1.999998*10^6 points. The idea is that I want to extract from this matrix: test(0) and test (1) from 5000001 - 2000000 = x and then plot the values of test(0) and test(1) from 3000001 to 5000001, and not how it is now happening that the plot is taking the first 2000000 values for test(0) and test(1) from 0 to 2000000 and above these values the plot fails. Also the starting range for i in the for loop I want to remain at 0:
In Creo View there are four types of Model Annotation filter - Planar Annotations, Floating Annotations, Misc Annotations and Screen Annotations. What annotation types in Creo Parametric included in the each filter? Such as Flat to Screen and user defined annotaiton plane, DRV_DIM show annotations, Weld symbol from weld feature, annotations and annotation feature's members. Is there a detailed classification description, which detailed annotation types and creation scenarios are included for each filter? Thanks in advance!
