CAD

I could not find any other support, so I decided to write the message here. I am a student and our school uses Mathcad 11. I received a code for Mathcad pro from my teacher, but I am unable to activate it. I downloaded the software and it shows that I have the free version, and that I can activate the pro version by clicking a button on the top right. I did that and got to the licence assistant. I logged in and put the code in, but it gives me an error message "server error" after I try to install the licence. A link leads me to here: "https://support.ptc.com/appserver/support/account/contact_customer_care.jsp", but I either don't get any help from there, or I am unable to access it due to not having the correct web account. I am unable to upgrade my web account, because I don't have the data required to do so. The only thing I have is the code and the need to get this app so i can work with it in school.

I want to buy Mathcad Prime but I can't login to purchase. I have created an account. When I click "buy now" it opens a new tab with a login screen. I enter my information and it says "invalid username or password". I have reset it several times and after completing the reset I can see that I'm logged in because my name appears in the upper right hand corner. When I go back to the store to purchase the license, the same login screen opens up, I enter my email and newly changed password and I get the same error. What am I doing wrong here?

I recently changed my laptop and I'd like to re-install Mathcad. Unfortunately I don't receive the link for the download and the same it's not in the spam.

Hello !Using Creo Parametric 9.0.3 here.When I am creating a hole, the default placement type is Linear.Is there a way to change this to something else, like Sketched ? I have looked for a config.pro option but found nothing so far. 

Using Prime 11The topic is Hertzian contact.  I was investigating the capacity of spherical contact on a flat plate using several different methods of calculating the stress stateI converted a Mathcad 15 worksheet to Prime 11.  It worked perfect in V15.  In Prime 11, one of the functions is broken.Attached are the PDF of Mathcad 15 output and the Prime 11 worksheet that it converted.I’m using a bunch of nested solve blocks as functions.  The functions that use the Find solve block seem OK.  But one function uses a Maximize solve block.  This isn’t working.This function worked in Mathcad 15. sigma_eq is another function.  It’s supposed to maximizing the value of sigma_eq by searching for the value z_guess that gives the maximum.  The other inputs to the z_peak_stress function are “constants” that the function sigma_eq also needs as an input.Conversion didn’t mention any errors about this.  It added a ‘helper’ (?) equation that’s not part of the iteration.  And the new format throws an e

Hi everyone,I'm working on a Creo Toolkit (Pro/Toolkit) application and need to create a blend feature programmatically.The version of Creo Parametric I am using is 6.0.I have created two sketches (Sketch1 and Sketch2) and need to generate a blend solid/surface based on these two sections. I have searched for relevant information online, but there are almost no usable examples or clear API documentation regarding the creation method of blend features in Toolkit secondary development. Thank you in advance for any insights or code examples.

Error in Licence Pocessing

When I create break lines for bolt heads and connecting holes, the cylindrical surface has no directional selection, so sometimes the break lines connect directly, while other times they connect with a bent line from the back, making it look messy. Has anyone encountered this problem, and how did you solve it?

If I have this I could ask for tolerance and build my text exactly like Creo is resolving it.I consider this as an issue with documentation that is clearly saying that when you use “Symbolic” mode text should not be resolved. I have been a paid subscriber to Mathcad since the late 1990’s. As a former a beta tester and advisor on new features, my interest and commitment to Mathcad is substantial. However, I am concerned about the future of Prime when I see more discussions on it not working rather than use.Yes some old problems are addressed with each new release. But installation and operation issues are starting to out number Topics on using the software to solve engineering and science problems. Even just upgrading to the new version or obtaining the new license keeps changing, adding to the frustration.For many of us, Mathcad is our only reason to use PTC’s products. Please do not make it a reason to be the last.   

I am using Creo Parametric 10.0.4.0 and performing a Model Check on a part and I am looking at the warning for "Annotations with incorrect surface references" which has the name ANNTN_SEM_REF_TEXT_VERIFY.It is telling me that I have the incorrect number of annotations with incorrect surface references.  I am trying to indicate that there are two surfaces that are 1.450 away from datum B, so in the references, I have datum B in the "first dimension reference" and then the two surfaces in the "second dimension reference."  So why is Model Check flagging this?  Am I doing it incorrectly?

Hey,I saved a volume measurement (shown in model tree) and then I created a paramter using a relation. I want to add a unit to the parameter but it is locked. So how do I add the units to locked parameters?How do I change the decimal value in this drawing title block. I want to show 0.73mm^3 or maybe 0.7mm^3
