Hello,I actually want to plot an if function for a certain range of numbers. I have tried to generate the values via a loop, but it just won't run.I actually want to plot the if function for values between 0 and 1.I'm sure it's quite simple, but somehow I'm stuck.Best regards and many thanks

HiI just started in calculating on transformers, and i have the problem i cant get Mathcad to calculate in VA (volt*amp) I've searched the net sadly without any results.I also have the same problem with a method to get the right results for VAR.S = VAP = WQ = VARI've tried to use the attached document, but i still only gets it out in W (watts)Hope someone can help me out, because i've soon given up.RegardsRasmus Skjøtt

I need to convert a file, but I'm concerned about not being able to convert the hundreds of old files that I have as well.When I tried to convert the file, I got this error message.I've verified that the framework in installed.  I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it.I've rebooted the computer, ran updates, and rebooted again.  I still get the same error message. I assume a security update has broken something, but I'd really like to get the capability back.

working with Prime 10.  I have two lists with different type of tubular threads.  Using the first combo box select between the two list to pull data from.  Automatically populating the second combo box with available tubing size.  Then auto populated the next combo box with available weights.  If not with a combo box can this be done with a list box?  Pulling from a data table and not having to load all the data within a script editor?  

Hello Mathcadeers,Been using MP10 for the last few days/weeks, and these are the thing that I hope Mathcad can improve to make prime faster. Hopefully MATHCAD designer/project lead/project manager is in this PTC Community. 1. Let say I want to add + in the equation below. In M15, I just need to hit SPACEbar once, and I can add +. In MP10, I have to hit SPACEbar twice. I could use RIGHT arrow button in MP10, but it is not quite ergonomic and RIGHT arrow button is far away.  2. Zoom in and Zoom out is laggy. There is about 1s delay. If the delay can be set to 0s, that would be awesome.  3. There is no option to UNDOCK the menu in MP10. In M15, you can undock the function so that it is always open. In M15, say I do Programming, I can Add Line, do if, assign value <-, do for, with just 4 mouse click. With MP10, it will take 8 mouse clicks. Would be good if Mathcad Prime can have the option to UNDOCK menu.  4. Not many options with Right Click. For exam

Hello Mathcadeers,I am designing a phase lock loop circuit (electrical engineering) and trying to use Mathcad Prime 10. I got stuck, as Mathcad Prime 10 could not find the solution. I used to be able to solve this, with no problem in Mathcad15.The program is to find the cross section (on the x-axis) of the DARK and the RED traces, where Fout1 is a variable. Attached is the MP10 file. For illustration, I set Fout1 to sweep from 3.5Ghz to 12.5Ghz, 1Ghz step. It takes really long (really long) to find the solution. If Fout1 has 3 points, then takes few minutes. If Fout1 is say 10points, it probably won't be able to find the solution. In Mathcad15, it takes 2 or 3 seconds. Attached is the file, in case anyone want to take a a look.  Regards,Ak

Hello,Why does PTC Mathcad Prime seem more oriented towards CIVIL and MECHANICAL Engineering, and much less towards Electrical Engineering, and Physics, and more in depth Mathematics? Will this be the case in the future?    

Hello, I want to print a Mathcad worksheet to PDF by using Mathcad15 command (mathcad.exe -p test.xmcd) in order to realize automate batch printing. But it cant't show the list combo box when printing by this way. This problem also appear when printing in the Mathcad15 GUI if I don't pull down the worksheet page to "active" the list combo box, only when I pull down the page and view the list combo box, it can be showed in the printed PDF (case).  Any ideas?Thanks for answer.

I want to solve the following equation at the bottom and get T_react/T_com on one side and the rest on the other side. Is there a way to rearrange the equation like that? I am using Version 10.0.1.0 

We have aging licenses of Mathcad 14 that we've kept going as long as possible but the end is nigh. Mathcad Prime's licensing is a yearly rental and I don't want to do that. We've evaluated seveal replacements. Does anyone have any opinions on this Maple Flow product? Can't use smath because of security. Other tools like Blockpad are too distant from Mathcad.

Hi, using Mathcad 15.0. I have a solve block producing some very strange units, and I can't get it solve with the right units.  If I take each result out of the Find, the units are right. Anyone know how to get this to work? Mathcad file attached.

I have downloaded the trial version of PTC Mathcad Prime and want to review how the current version of the software compares with my previous use of older Mathcad versions.  I have a file from Mathcad 11 in .mcd format, and when I try to use the PTC Mathcad Prime 10.0 1.0 XMCD, MCD converter, it does not convert to the new software format.  The converter says license is not found.  Is this type of file conversion available in the trial version of Prime?  I no longer have the old version of mathcad on my current computer. 

The issue that I am experiencing might be an old and known issue but I just can't seem to find a solution. I have been using Mathcad for the last 15 years with the licensing and support being maintained by my employer. I have a locked license which I need to transfer to my new PC.My employer however did not renew the support account so I cannot access any help or advice from there. I was really hoping someone can assist me as I am unable to use the software at the moment although an active license exists. The host ID just need to change.  I tried looking up the existing license/host ID/contract number etc but nothing could be found. Any suggestions or assistance would really be appreciated 

 I am looking for an implementation of a program for curve fitting. I have already achieved a good approximation using the genfit function. Currently, I am trying to improve the fit further by using a routine with while loops that iteratively adjusts the three variables to achieve a better approximation. However, when I start the loop, it runs indefinitely and fails to find a solution. Could anyone help me resolve this issue?

If I have a more complicated equation and want to find its derivative using a symbolic tool, how can I do that? For example, with a simple function like F = k*x, the derivative is easy, but for more complex functions, it can be very time-consuming. 

Hello all,I found out the WRITEEXCEL generate excel file with wrong time stamp. This is my worksheet.test1.xlsx is a simple file, that contain 4x3 information. Timestamp generated is 28 March 2009. Anyone facing the same issue? Regards

Hello. Quite new to Prime 10. How do I set Icp, to output "One", rather than enum value of 1? I am guessing I have to modify the highlighted script shown, but not quite sure how. thanks so much for your help.
