Mathcad

We have aging licenses of Mathcad 14 that we've kept going as long as possible but the end is nigh. Mathcad Prime's licensing is a yearly rental and I don't want to do that. We've evaluated seveal replacements. Does anyone have any opinions on this Maple Flow product? Can't use smath because of security. Other tools like Blockpad are too distant from Mathcad.

Hi, using Mathcad 15.0. I have a solve block producing some very strange units, and I can't get it solve with the right units.  If I take each result out of the Find, the units are right. Anyone know how to get this to work? Mathcad file attached.

I have downloaded the trial version of PTC Mathcad Prime and want to review how the current version of the software compares with my previous use of older Mathcad versions.  I have a file from Mathcad 11 in .mcd format, and when I try to use the PTC Mathcad Prime 10.0 1.0 XMCD, MCD converter, it does not convert to the new software format.  The converter says license is not found.  Is this type of file conversion available in the trial version of Prime?  I no longer have the old version of mathcad on my current computer. 

The issue that I am experiencing might be an old and known issue but I just can't seem to find a solution. I have been using Mathcad for the last 15 years with the licensing and support being maintained by my employer. I have a locked license which I need to transfer to my new PC.My employer however did not renew the support account so I cannot access any help or advice from there. I was really hoping someone can assist me as I am unable to use the software at the moment although an active license exists. The host ID just need to change.  I tried looking up the existing license/host ID/contract number etc but nothing could be found. Any suggestions or assistance would really be appreciated 

 I am looking for an implementation of a program for curve fitting. I have already achieved a good approximation using the genfit function. Currently, I am trying to improve the fit further by using a routine with while loops that iteratively adjusts the three variables to achieve a better approximation. However, when I start the loop, it runs indefinitely and fails to find a solution. Could anyone help me resolve this issue?

If I have a more complicated equation and want to find its derivative using a symbolic tool, how can I do that? For example, with a simple function like F = k*x, the derivative is easy, but for more complex functions, it can be very time-consuming. 

Hello all,I found out the WRITEEXCEL generate excel file with wrong time stamp. This is my worksheet.test1.xlsx is a simple file, that contain 4x3 information. Timestamp generated is 28 March 2009. Anyone facing the same issue? Regards

Hello. Quite new to Prime 10. How do I set Icp, to output "One", rather than enum value of 1? I am guessing I have to modify the highlighted script shown, but not quite sure how. thanks so much for your help.  

I am using CFFT for calculations in Mathcad 14. Mathcad Prime 10 recommends using dtf rather than CFFT. However, CFFT and dft have different scaling. Hello Mathcadeers,I am familiar and comfortable with legacy Mathcad (Mathcad <=15). But since it is no longer supported, I feel that I need to migrate to Mathcad Prime 10 (learning it). I am wondering if you guys can let me know what you think. Is it worth it to migrate to MP10 (need to spend some time to learn and get familiar with it), or just stick with Mathcad15? Hi, I have a problem connected to explicit, ALL and programming operators. I have made two variables with programming. And I would like a second one to show (with explicit, ALL) the function it has been using to get this value. Is it possible? Am I doing sth wrong? Also, how do you get rid of that green girth? 

I am fairly new to this software and would like to understand if there is any better way to perform the things that I am trying to do my belief is there should be some way I am not just getting that  Could someone from experts help me to make the content small and cleaner ?

Windows 11 will be released as early as next month.  Has anyone done some testing of the existing versions of Mathcad (i.e. MC15, Prime 3-7) to identify issues under Win 11.  Personally, I have a perpetual academic license for MC Prime 3.1, and as a retiree, I am loathe buy a subscription version.     Furthermore, I have had to reinstall MC Prime 3.1 several times and it has never been an easy task.  Unless I am reasonably certain that an upgrade to Win 11 will not be an issue for Mathcad Prime 3.1, I will simply stay with Win10.   thoughts?Mike

This feels like the right time to publish some of the work I've been doing, on and off, over the past year.Prime Express is the free for life edition of Prime. And because it's free, it's crippled with respect to the full edition that is itself more or less crippled with respect to Mathcad. Numerous functions in Prime are declared 'Premium' functions, and they will not work in the Express edition of Prime. Hej Guys, i am new to Mathcad and not very familar with it i have a worksheet with some functions and no i wanted to use the solveblock to find some solutions for me but i have no idea how i should write it down.i added  the worksheet with the functions. i have a function with two Variables that where i want to find those two variables when i only know one result of the two out put results that the funcions brings me.the constraints i have and the expted result i put to the worksheet. maybe someone can give me some advise on how the solveblock need to be set up for a function with two variables? Kind RegardsMarkus

Hello I have a written two programs which are very similar. However, when I am running the second program, I get an error message saying "these values cannot be compared".  Unfortunately, I can't figure out what is wrong with the script. How can I solve this error? Thank you for your support!
