Are we able to upgrade the license manager to Creo 3.0 and have client computers that still run Creo 2.0 and point to that same license manager. In other words, is the license "Backwards Compatible"? I would like to upgrade the license manager to Creo 3.0 and install 3.0 on a few computers to test. However, most users will still be using 2.0.I want to know if the computers that have not been upgraded can still use the same license manager if it is upgraded.Thanks,Vic

I had Mathcad Prime 2.0 on my old work computer, which saved files in a .mcdx format.  My new work computer has Mathcad15 on it and saves files in a .mcdz format.  I don't seem to be able to open my old files.  Is there a way to open my old files with Mathcad 15?  Or do I need to re-create them?

Hi guys,In my application I've used QueryDataTableEntries service at many places but the problem I am facing with this service is that when I defined it's maxItems to 100000, it is fetching results very slow.is anyone faced the same issue? how could I optimize response time here?Thanks,Meenakshi

Hi I am working on a label chart to produce a bar graph. In this i have plotted 10 values which comprises of 5 pairs. I want to cluster these values accordingy.As you can see above but in this i am not able to produce a gap between pairs. How can we do that.Like in this i want a small gap after every 2 bar.Thanks

Hi, I'm a student from germany working on the integration of MKS into MATLAB Simulink. Via google I found out that there is a possibility to directly link Simulink Blocks to requirements in MKS, but it seems there is an addin or something similar needed (called mksmathworks.exe), to accomplish this integration. My Version of MATLAB meets all the requirements mentioned in this document ftp://ftp.mks.com/pub/support/integritysoln2009/integrations/Mathworks/readme.htmand I'm owning a full license of MKS Integrity 2009. Hi all,when you are within an assembly and you want to model a part, you can edit a single dimension or activate the part. In this case also the icons change and show you the part environment.Here I have two problems:1) if you show the datum planes/axes/points, also the planes/axes/points of the assebly are shown, creating a much confusion if the assembly is big;2) you can't see where the part is in the model tree if it is inside a sub assembly. I have downloaded the MED-60318-CD-110_M010.zip from the PTC Software Download site. However, when attempting to Copy to the staging folder, it says "Invalid CD selected. Please select another CD." I have been successful in copying all of the other Product Installers thus far, but this is the last one and I am not having any luck. Any ideas?

Hi guys, I want to create a bottle with 4 curves that using offset coordinate system to make points. When I finished from creating 4 curves and 1 straight line at the center, I used the sweep tool, but the model is not working through the points that I created. I am loading some drop down lists with string values that are used to display a variety of values depending on the selection. I have a data table that stores the settings per user so that each time the page is loaded the proper values are restored as they were last configured.  My data is being display correctly in my grid based on the saved values in the data table.  However, the selected value is not reflected/displayed in the list widget when the mashup is loaded.I have tried a number of things to try to get the selected values to be shown in the list widget when the mashup loads, but so far I have not had any success.  I am attempting to use the SelectedText parameter, but this doesn't seem to be doing anything.  Do I need to create a list of numerical values to tie to the ValueField in order to get this working?Please let me know what I am missing.  I have tried the same setup in two versions of ThingWorx Composer to make sure it wasn't an issue in my curr

I have one computer that while rotating any assembly, parts will either disappear or show as like a white checker box. Its a new computer build using the same hardware as many others in the department, so I can't think of anything hardware that might be the issue... it very well might be though.The pictures below are the same model. Left one is while spinning the assembly and the right is when you release it after spinning. Everything comes back immediately and just can't figure out what is going on. Dear Users,I am using APP Publish and the phrase  " 40°C (104° F) should look as is in a single line in my PDF. But whats happening is 40°C is in previous line and (104° F)  appears in next line.Example :• The temperature for the equipment in a closed or multi audio rack assembly should not exceed 40°C (104°F).How to fix this , so that meaning full word like degree stays together .Regards,Sriram Rammohan

We're in the final steps of migrating from Windchill 10.0 M050 to Windchill 11.0 M010 and I've found what appears to be a bug.  I'm looking for someone else on 11.0 M010 to see if they can reproduce this issue.If I take an existing workspace table display (customize view list: workspace listing) that has the "Version" column and either edit it to add / remove a column or copy it to create a new table display / view list for workspaces, the "version" column disappears.  It's not just gone from the "selected columns" list, it's also not in the "available columns" list, so there is no way to add it back.  The file version (rev.iteration) is a pretty key field to the user when working on Creo data managed by Windchill.  Has anyone else seen this or can anyone else reproduce this (just don't try it on some standard, company-wide table display), or has the "version" field been replaced by some other term?  I need to see if this is something wonky on our install, or a

After completing the drawing, saved and uploaded to the windchill, I received the following:Parameter "Weight" of type "String" could not be uploaded to the server due to inconsistent type with Windchill parameter type "Real Number".Where can I investigate this problem or where to start? Hi,I'm looking for an example or other resource to assist with configuring client certificate authentication in Java. Several pages of the Edge Help Center/Java SDK Developer's guide refer to client authentication as a supported feature, but I don't see any examples for configuring this. The procedure is apparently different than with the .NET SDK, as the Java ClientConfigurator does not seem to have methods for ClientCertFileInfo/ServerCertFileInfo as the .NET ClientConfigurator does. If anyone could point me to an example or documentation that explains how to select a client certificate file for securing the connection to Thingworx, I would appreciate it greatly. In fact - and I'm guessing this is similar - it would be helpful to get an example for setting the truststore on the client for validating the server SSL certificate as well. I realize I can do this through the JRE cacerts truststore but I don't want to alter the machine-wide configuration if possible. Thanks!

Hi,I try to establish a MQTT connection to an external mosquitto MQTT server.I download the MQTT extension and set it up according the setup instructions.Nevertheless I got everytime a error message in the application log: Unable to connect to MQTT in [EYMQTT_Testthing] : MqttExceptionI did a test with MQTT_spy and I got a successful connection.I´m using thingworx 7.2 and also 6.5 with the latest MQTT extension, but both with no successI really have no clue what I did wrong ?RegardsMarco

I have a scheduled script, and I've modified it to have an additional functionality to run as a rule. However, when I did run my rule trigger I received an error that the script may be run only from a scheduled trigger. I looked in the script and I couldn't find any sort of tag or check which specifically labels it as a scheduled trigger. I am unable to update a drawing parameter in creo with excel vba.  I can retrieve and change a 'BaseParameter.TextValue' according to vba, but the parameter doesn't change on the drawing or in the parameters window.  Have also tried updating/saving with no luck.
