Is there a way to update a grid value(s) without refreshing the grid and loosing your viewing spot?I currently just have an auto refresh widget that refreshes the data in my grid.  However, this redraws the entire grid and you loose your spot if you scroll to the bottom of the grid.

Hi folks--We have a customer who would like the black in their PDF output to be pure black (in CMYK terms, all K, i.e. 0,0,0,100%). By default, black is rendered as composite black (a combination of all CMYK colors).I have found how to change it for particular contexts via APP source edits, but I'm hoping someone can point me to a more direct way to configure APP to always map "black" to CMYK: 0,0,0,100). Is there a way to redefine the color "black" and/or the default color in a single place in the stylesheet, either directly in Styler or via APP source edits? Ideally this would also apply to things like table borders and header/footer rule elements.Thanks.--Clay

Creo has a search tab. You may search for a Number , but the result table does not display the Number. When searching for several parts with the same Name, but different Numbers, all are the same. How to find the right one ? How to add a column for the Number ?The help (?) shows how to display details, but there is no detail pane. If i have a vector A=(0.45, 1.78, 0.82, 0.95, 1.99,  1.12, 0.77), how to create a vector B that contains only B=(0.45, 0.82,  0.95, 0.77); only values that are lower than 1. The other values may be 0 for example.

Hello AllIs there any Specific reason why Geometry pattern is grade-out in the sheet metal modelling ? ,we have this option in the Solid part modelling.It is a simple geometry in which only a surfaces will be created to provide a lightweight feature to the model. Hello,I am trying to set the property of a thing using a checkbox on a mashup.1. I have put this widget on the mashup, making sure I select the "Dynamic" checkbox. I have also configured the data bindings so that the checkbox "state" is linked to SetProperties."machineON" <bool> on my thing.2. I have tried doing the above and also ​using the event "Changed" on the checkbox to trigger the "SetProperties" service.Neither of these seem to work, so when I change the sate of the checkbox and go to its property page, the thing properties do not seem to change.

I'm trying to use a repeat region in a table on my drawing to show info about a harness. I've gotten everything set up and the length, connector name and wire name all populate as you would expect. My problem comes when I try to put the spool name in. For some reason, the name comes up, but it creates a new row and comes up in the new row all by itself. So, all of the other cells in the row fill with name, length, etc. but the spool name pops up on a row below them all alone. Anyone have any clue why this is? I'm looking  at deploying Advanced Print Publisher (both client and server) in a VMWare environment. I see in an Arbortext PE installation guide some statements to  the effect  that  PTC doesn't explicitly support running PE in virtualized  environment but I can't find any discussion of whether APP works ok in  VMWare. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any gotchas? thanks for any suggestions/experience you can share!

I try to use lsolve to find coordinates of unknown Bezier control points. But mathcad 15 doesn`t like vector v which consists of vector values.Does it means that I need to solve system for each component of point coordinate,i.e. one time for x and one more time for y?

Hi all,I just made a pattern with a table, and I'm a bit surprised, Pro/TABLE only takes 2 digits and rounds the values I entered.For example, in the table below I wrote 23.625 and it took 23.63 !! I have been using the constant_load tool path and now that the retract can be controlled I like it a lot. Except, when I change free_feed from rapid to  some value to avoid the collisions Vericut is telling me I have, the 1st move after the tool change becomes a Direct (XYZ) move no matter what I select for a start_motion parameter. All users at my company that are using WC10.1 desktop integration keep getting this error even though office integration and file download mechanism is set correctly at the org level.ATTENTION: Preferred File Download Mechanism Is Not Available.One user has an additional issue - all the downloaded files are data.wcdti.txt instead of the office (word, excel, power point) file. The text file has all the meta data. For everyone else the download filel is the correct office document....I dont understand why the desktop integration has so many error......Has anyone else encountered the same errors. Gord

I would like to create a mashup quite similar to the Organization page in the composerso I have two questions:1) Is it possible to "take" this composer page and include it into a mashup in order to create new units runtime and have the same graphical?2) If the answer is No, is it possible to add a widget runtime? So that I can write a service which, on button click, will add another button into the mashup next to or under the one which had been clicked(My solution to question 2, is to create a lot of buttons and hide them all and, on click, make them visible, but althought it is simple I think it is a quite forced)

I have added a new document type in the Type and Attribute Manager, but when I go to add a new document to Windchill, I do not get my new type in the drop down menu.I am guessing the menu is built from a RBinfo file that I need to locate, edit for the new type and compile. I will look on Monday, but in the mean time, I am looking for confirmation that that is where I need to look for this last step in the modifications.Windchill 10.0 m040

I want to save some folders with the  Windows command prompt, in safe mode before doing a complete system recovery. I would like to know what are the most convenient options to copy from c:\xxxx  in a pen drive an entire folder and all subfolders  , with the command "ROBOCOPY" from the command prompt? When I drag an extrusion the dimension will only change by 0.100 inches.  Therefore, if I have an extrusion of 0.500 inches and I want to drag the size of the extrusion with the mouse the extrusion will only change to 0.600 to 0.700 to 0.800 etc.  I want to be able to drag the extrusion and have the dimension change by .005.  Is there a configuration that I need to change?  I tried setting the comp_snap_dist_tolerance to .005.  This did not work.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. In my drawing of an assembly I have 3 sheets. Each sheet is an exploded "stage" of the assembly. On these sheets I am creating a repeat region for every stage that will list the exploded parts of that assembly, easy enough I think...So my issue is this, in the assembly I have a certain screw that has a qty of 18. But, not all of the 18 screws are on the same exploded view, 12 are on one sheet and 6 are on the other. Is there a way I can change the value of the quantity in the individual tables? I've seem ways where people can use relations, but I don't think this would work for me as I figured it would update both tables the same, as in the second table would also show a qty of 12 when I need it to show 6. To further explain my drawing, I use 3 simp reps from view manager and just named them stage 1, stage 2 and stage 3 and then as my stages progress I exclude the parts/assys that were shown in the previous exploded view. Stage 1 is basically everything in the top level assembly. but o
