In my environment, I have my files with the dot ".", such as "11.123.234.prt". I already have automations and integrations based on this format. Is there any way for Creo to use this name with dots or use other parameters created in Windchill to reference and work with my files? And how can I do this?This is the case of a potential client. We already knew, Creo doesn't work with dots in the file name.He already had files with dots. There are already Automations and integrations linked to this format.Can we create a new parameter in Windchill for these files and have Creo use this new parameter to reference these files?Example:The file name is "11.123.00-prt" but in Windchill there is a parameter "CREO_NAME" and Creo searches for and works with this same file by "CREO_NAME" instead of the file name "11.123.00-prt" and still keeps the original name for my system to work with it.Is it possible? Hello. I came upon an interesting case: singularity function defined in my particular case as < r - r_o >^0It is also said that if r < r_o then the whole function is equal to zero.  Do we have any means of evaluating this function in Mathcad, such that, if I plug inn any values of "r" and "r_o" into the function, it will return to zero (of course if r < r_o)? Otherwise this function is always 1 (if r > r_o and if we ommit the case when r = r_o). Best regards,Sergey

In PTC article CS363748 are for the various Creo main versions TOOLKIT sample projects attached.However, only the Debug configuration is preconfigured for these.   As our company is currently working with Creo 10.0, I have taken a closer look at the example project for this version.However, my statements also apply to the projects of the other versions.The Debug configuration can be compiled and linked, but in my opinion it is not correctly preset:The project setting "Configuration Properties > C/C++ > Runtime Libary" should be changed from "Multi-threaded DLL (/MD)" to "Multi-threaded Debug DLL (/MDd)", shouldn't it?Even if this change is made, the project can still be successfully compiled and linked.However, if you then add the line "#include <string>" to the other header files at the beginning of the program code, the DLL can no longer be created and the following error messages appear in the output console:   Rebuild started...1>------ Rebuild All started:

Im new to PTC Thingworx and I created a child mashup. To load it, I made it a popup of my main mashup. I put a close button inside the child mashup and wants to close the popup. Not sure how to do this, appreciate if you could help me with this.  

I am using Creo 10.0.7.0.I have created a table in a Creo drawing where I want to enter values—particularly fractional values—in a specific format, as shown in the first image below. However, I haven’t been able to figure out how to achieve this formatting.I’ve tried adjusting the config.pro settings and other available options, but it's still not working. Currently, the values appear as shown in the second image. I hope you can see the difference in formatting between the two examples.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.1.4Our intension is to integrate Corp Active Directory with Windchill. Hello, I would like to use mqtt in vuforia studio to fetch metadatas from a database hosted on an edge device. I tired different approaches (proxy redirect to "bypass" CORS restrictions, https with a self signed certificate) but at the end of the road I stumble in the same problem: the AR app works on local environment (preview mode) but not on the mobile device (an ipad in this case).I already made a post about this topic and I've been told that the solution may reside in thingworx and the mqtt extension (which still requires a broker if I'm correct).I would like to know the detailed steps to achieve mqtt communication in vuforia studio and vuforia view.Thanks in advance

Today, I created a transfer file from the old PC running Kepware server and uploaded it to the my.Kepware account. The transfer message indicated that the license has now been "Banked". When I go to the "View Activation History" I see 1/0, but I see no other details. The screen is blank otherwise. There is no Kepware license code appearing for the newly banked license that was transferred today. I want to transfer this license to a new PC, as the old hardware has died. How can this be fixed?

hi,i have a problem with Creo View; sometimes whern opening an assembly trough Windchill the loading bar get stuck at 99% (more or less) and it never grows.Our version is old but it never shows before Creo View 3.1Windchill 10.2

What all needs to be configured in Windchill to enable the PDF and STEP file generation for a CAD Drawing representation.

How can we enable the generation of representation automatically for a CAD drawing. After the drawing has been checked in Windchill, the representation should be created automatically for the same.

We are using Thingworx EMS to connect to local VMs in order to support them. Each VM runs several containerized web applications. Typically these are accessed by support personnel at https://127.0.0.1:differentport# We have applications listening at 8443, 3001, 3003 etc. Support users SSH in over port 22 and have access to port 443. Even with NFT port forwarding from 443 to 8443 we cannot get any of these applications to come up. All come up if you connect to the machine directly on a local network instead of through Thingworx. Any ideas on the correct configuration? We could potentially use DNS, but prefer not to require a DNS entry if we can just use 127.0.0.1 or localhost.

Hello! My team is looking into the Sectioning tools of Creo Illustrate.  We are running Windows 11 mostly with Illustrate 11.1 While reading through the Documentation, we found this page To View the Section in 2D ViewIt refers to a "Show 2D View" button in the ribbon menu in the Sectioning tab, then the Setup group.  Looking at my Creo Illustrate, I see no such button there. I figured it may be hiding, so I went into the ribbon customization menu, and looked for "Show 2D View", as well as looking at everything tool in the Sectioning Category.  I couldn't find anything   Would someone be able to let me know how me and my team can access the Show 2D View feature for sectioning in Creo Illustrate?  I'm probably missing something. Thanks!

Version: Windchill 11.1 Use Case: I've got reports that show the relationship between Promotion Requests and various objects.Description: I've got reports that show the relationship between Promotion Requests and various objects.The reports for Promotion Requests to WT Parts and Promotion Requests to CAD Documents, work fine, showing the iteration of the object released by the Promotion Request. However the report to show Promotion Requests to Documents doesn't show the correct iteration that was released, for example version 1.6 was released by the Promotion Request, issue 1.1 is showing against it on the report. The object type is the only difference between them. I've tried using latest iteration, but when I put that filter on it then just doesn't show that object on the report. Anybody got any ideas? QML of report attached

We need an option to convert html snippets to wikitext.Use Case: We have a frontend running an html editor. After the user has completed the formatted text in the editor, we need to convert the content to wiki/markup to post it as an item via the API to codeBeamer. In past versions, we have used POST to <baseURL>/cb/wysiwyg/convertHTMLToWiki.spr as a Workaround to get our payload in a wiki/markup format. This worked up to including version 21.09 (EMMA). Since Husky (current SP we are running is 2.0.0.5), this Request returns 403 forbidden instead. Is there another way we could do this conversion, either via API Request (there is wiki2html, so why not the other way around?) or via a helping computation in the tracker config?

Good morning to all, for my calculation I've to deal with badly conditioned matrices. The matrices includes terms with its own unit of measure. The bad conditioning is coming (also after some simple numerical tests) from the very different order of magnitude of the terms and it could be reduced introducing, new, custom unit of measures (such as for example MegaNewton for example). I know how to introduce custom unit of measures in input. BUT what I want is that for an entire spreadsheet (or even a region) a custom unit system is used; said differently I want that the results are in the custom unit of measures: how can I do? Hello. I created an organization in thingworx, activated the Allow password reset button, and set up a mail server.Also, I confirmed that the mail is sent normally through MailServerThing's SendMessage service. However, when I made a request to reset the password on the organization login page, the message "Check your email to reset your password" appears, but it doesn't seem to be actually sent. Is there anything I missed? Please let me know if you know the cause.
