I am getting an error while editing attachments from a workflow task using a task form template. The PBO used is a subtype of work package. The same user can edit the package if he tries the same action from package > attachments tabs. We have two SolidWorks workers configured with Windchill. Only one of them is being used for Publishing jobs, other one is used only when first worker is not available . Is there any configuration can be done to equally distribute the publishing jobs to both the workers.

Hi,I have bulk part for Paint. As you can imagine, the quantity of paint depends on the surface area. (For me it can vary between 0.5 to 3 litres). I have the total surface area to be painted as a parameter in assembly. Now I need to connect that to a parameter in the bulk and then multiply by the thickness and add the wastage (in percentage). Our usual method of connection is not working (SURFACE_AREA = TOTAL_SURFACE_AREA:1)Is it possible to somehow give BOM_REPORT_QUANTITY in a normal part. Now, once I will run modelcheck interactive, what ever relations are missed get listed onto modelcheck ui from where I can directly add them into relation.Could anyone help me please to know whether it's possible to add missing relations into model without user action through model check? Information bar, status bar, information area, message bar...I don't know what the official name of this section is, but ProE used to have a screentip display at the bottom left corner of the window that showed information about whatever the mouse hovered over. It is different from the tooltip in that it was displayed instantaniously, did not move, and did not get in the way of the model (and always showed up in the same place, which made it faster to reference). As I am testing Creo I am realizing how much I miss that section because it was apparently removed in Creo. Does anyone know if there is an option to display that section again? See picture below to understand what section is missing:

Can someone tell me how to rename dimensions in sketcher when using Creo 3.0? Apparently if the dimension name is modified to contain the letters DS, then when the model is imported into ANSYS, that software will recognize the dimension as parametric. In the comparisons of various softwares, it is always interesting when someone is trying to drive a "stick shift" but all they know it how to drive "an automatic". The stick shift may be a sports car, but its a "crappy" sports car because they only know how to drive an automatic.

I want to show a grid of all the properties on my things but I want to dynamically change the columns shown depending on the visibility of the property to the calling user.eg A battery operated Fan Thing has propertiesrpmsettingchargingStatuspercentRemainingbatteryVoltageEngineer has access to all properties, and thus a grid will show all properties for each thing. They see all ThingsBuilding manager does not have technical information (rpm and batteryVoltage) these will be missing from the grid. They see all ThingsUser can only see the same properties as the building manager but only for their device.I know that I can retrieve a list of the visible properties on an individual thing using GetPropertyValuesAsMultiRowTable but want the visible data for all ThingsThanks

We creates our organization via loadfile and we'd like to set "Allow sourcing administrators to create organizations" attribute as "yes" (see screen below). Is there a possibility to do this via loadfile? Or is there an another way to do this without using UI?Thank you for a help,Damian

Can someone explain why the outputs to these match functions are the same?

I have a question about the method uifcCreateDialog used to create Custom UI dialog.In the documentation PTC Creo Editor, they write that to create an UI instance you have to use the following code:                                                         uifcCreateDialog (“MyDialogInstance”,“my_dialog_resource_file”);My question is what are the input. From the API documentation I see that they are both xrstring. But what do they represent, is my_dialog_resource_file the path of the resource file? Is MyDialogInstance the name of a variable.
