Arbortext Editor 6.1 adds unwanted newlines aka Carriage Returns througout the text. They are not visible within the editor but are visible in any text editor. This is an extremely annoying behaviour. Is there any way to turn this "feature" off. For anyone that runs scripts over the markup this is a pain because this breaks search patterns.Example: The newlines break at odd places, for example there's a cr after <xref:in accordance with sub-paragraph <xreflinkend="myid"></xref>.

the problem I have is about global assignment. Is there any other ways for me to use to calculate the max value without using the maximise function? I have used global assignment thru out the mathcad as it is needed for my summary in the first page.

Hello guys,   I'm doing a geometrical calculation program in excel, and for that, I'm using Mathcad to define the formulas.   For the last one, I have 3 known distances in R3, and 3 coordinates, and I want to find the last one.   So , the formulas are:     All the variables are input given, but (a, b, d), which are the last point coordinates (x,y,z).    I need to get the formulas, a, b, d only in function of the given variables.  So a symbolic solution someway like that:    a = t+ w-j +2 o.....    b = o+ n-j +2 w.....    c = w+ t-j +2 j.....   I'm very unexperient with Mathcad, so I don't know any function that could do this automaticly for me.  

Hi Guys, I've recently migrated from TW6.5 to 7.1. I have an issue with properties - Infotable to more precise. They are not persistent even if they are marked as such.I know that Infotables are more or less a memory data type, but I hoped that if I mark them as 'persistent' they will be. Wierd think is that on 6.5 i cannot recall that my infotables would went empty after system reboot. At least I think so.Buttom line, I am using Infotable type for configuration purposes, they are containing URLs and their respective properties. I am iterating through this table making HTTP requests to target system, whilst retrieving response and so on.... Is there any way how to make my Infotables persistent? Other than flush them into some variables and fill them back after restart?Thanks..Tomas  

Hello all usersWith our Creo version, when we use the hole function, the drill angle is 118° by defult. I think the standard for all the customer tools is 120°. To all,my Prime 3.1 version has stopped working like a fully version and does not allow me to use, for example programming on a calculation sheet.it happened already few months ago and it was solved with the help of some tech from PTC.they sent me the license file again, but i cannot discern what number of all the numbers that appear on the license file is the one that i have to use to re-activate again my license for Prime 3.1.this is really annoying.Still finding issues on Prime that i never had on Mathcad previous version.

I have a gadget with a gauge on it. I want the user to be able to select which property is displayed from a given list. How do I do this? Can I do this?To provide a bit more context my thing has two battries I want to show the current capacity of the battries individually. Obviously I could just duplicate the gadget and amend it to look at the second property but I want to be able to get the user to specify the property (from the provided ones for the battery capicity) making the gadget library less cumbersome. (I have numerous examples of this).

Hello all, I'm trying to use Creo3, instead of Creo2. I'm starting Creo from my working directory with a batch file (that start parametric.bat). Confg.pro of both Creo2 and Creo3 are identical.   Within Creo3, I don't have appearances libraries. Hi.I've created a few Things with the platform and I gave them some simulated data that I'm already extracting using the API. In the Things themselves I defined a few alerts, mainly regarding values dropping below a certain point, for example: Speed of a car dropping below 30. I did this using the manage alerts in the Things properties. My question is, having the data simulated using a Timer and some Javascript code would these alerts fire? If they do what would be the endpoint in the API to catch these alerts? Is there anything else I've to do so it would work?Thank you for your help in advance.

I am looking for some help making a combo mapkey that will both add and set a model on a current sheet. The purpose is for mirrored components that we only need to put in an iso view and a couple of notes about it. Right now I have a mapkey addm that adds the model to the sheet and then I use setm to set the model, but I have to go through this ridiculous drop-down menu to find the model I just added. So I want to be able to remember/recall/save whatever model I add and automatically set it as the current model. Do CREO and Windchill users require admin privileges on their computers? There's talk here of removing that privilege from engineers. Not sure if that'll have an impact on their ability to work?
