Hi, I have this current situation:ThingTemplate named "MyTemplate" with three properties: Prop1 (Number), Prop2 (number), Prop3 (number).25 Things named "TH-1"..."TH-25".Those properties will change every x seconds (where x is a random number) and I can see on a mashup the new value on three gauges each one binded to a property.Now I have the following questions:What I should write in the service to change the thing any random time? Because if it is a fixed time, I can make a Timer Thing but what about a random time? Would you make me a simple example of code?I know the widget "Autorefresh" which refreshes the page automatically every T seconds where T is set in the widget properties but I have random time. What can I do to autorefresh when it triggers? Thank you

I am looking for syntax to get the field value from an infotable at runtime. The javascript window does show the api supported so it is hard to find out without lot of hit and trial. Please point me at the right direction.thx

Ok everyone, I am using CREO 2.0, and when I zoom in on a part to constrain it, as soon as I click the check mark to finish the actions the entire model jumps off my screen making me either have to refit it to my screen or zoom around until I find it. It's happening every single time I do it.Is there a setting that I missed that controls this? Is there a way to get it to stop doing that? It's wasting a lot of my time at work and driving me out of my mind also. Hi all,we are currently authoring in Arbortext 7.0 with Styler and we are using APP to publish our documents in PDF. Everything is working perfectly, except something which I would like to know if it can improved.The setup as it is, requires 3 passes to output PDF, meaning that it goes through all pages 3 times before the PDF is generated. This is ok for small documents, but usually we publish large documents of around 600-700 pages.Is there a way to improve that so that we speed up the publishing process?For example, is there a way to configure how many passes will be run before the PDF is generated?Thank you very much in advance for any hints/tips/assistance.Tasos

I have converted the Creo Assembly into Step Format.While the opening the step format again into Creo  , a Menu Manager Tap is opening and then I need to Keep on clicking the Done/Return Option, Which consumes a lot of time.Is it possible to do th above in single click, or Is there any other way to open the step file directly without any questions in Creo....This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. A typical geometric series can be written like this, where N and M are two commensurable constants, i is the imaginary unit.  For this kind of geometric series, it can be derived by hand that it is equal to If we are trying to solve this expression, by introducing a (k-1) as a coefficient of the exponential function, how can we solve it? I have a mashup that has a database thing service added to it. The service returns data from a external database table. Instead of adding a auto refresh widget to refresh at a set interval, I want the mashup to refresh when new data is added to that external database table. I can raise an event (on a remote thing that binds to a ThingWorx .NET SDK + database SDK) or I can update a boolean property to indicate a refresh is necessary, but how do I make the mashup react to the event?I assume there's a way to make a loaded mashup respond to external events such as a subscription..?Thanks,Michael

I've created and downloaded a MySQL extension using the JDBC Connector extension created recently obtained from the Marketplace. Should it have been created when I uploaded the file with the JdbcCreator?

So first I open an assembly from my company's windchill database, and generally the first thing I do after pulling a model is I export it to step file because the models directly from windchill have purple lines that ruin any "no hidden" line art I try to create for technical illustrations...that's another problem...moving on.   So after I've exported the assembly to a step file in the project folder, I try to go in and open it but instead of showing the part numbers in the model tree, every single part in the assembly has been replaced with a sequential nonsense number that is absolutely no help for working with the model. I've checked my export options, and I do not know how to fix this.     So far the only thing I've found is that the correct part numbers are now stored in the "layer names" column, but that is really inconvenient and I wish they'd just stick with the parts themselves in the hierarchy. Also, when opening the step file I see: "Processing __tmp__name__.
