I have a problem using a solve block with equations that change at a specific point in the solution.  I've attached an example file (Mathcad Prime 3.1) showing the problem and how I've solved it.  The scenario is two vessels connected in series.  The first vessel is initially full of water while the second vessel is empty.  At time = 0, a flow of a second fluid starts into vessel 1.  The overflow from vessel 1 goes into vessel 2.  When vessel 2 is filled, then the overflow from vessel 2 goes to a drain.  I want to calculate the volume fraction of the second fluid in each vessel with time.  The equation for the volume fraction in the second vessel changes once the vessel is filled (because it starts to drain.)  The way I came up with to handle this is using the step function, but it does some strange things.  I've included two solutions, the first showing the problem with the step function, the second showing my messy-looking way of hand

For example, I want a url link to revision A. I want a URL that links to A.1 when A.1 is the newest version, but then automatically links to A.2 when it is created.

In Creo2 I had embedded the school logo and used rendered output to make working and presentation drawings. I can not do this  in Creo3 anyone got any pointers?The attached file had to be exported as a  pdf and the  bitmap images added in a  3rd party programme.

I'm using TW 6.0.3, so this may have been fixed in the later versions.Once I create a panel and a gauge inside it, can I move the panel group(with the gauge) that i just created into another one? I'm unable to drag/drop.Thanks.

In Creo 2 and earlier, I could copy note formatting to a portion of a note if the note was broken up appropriately. The simplest example of this is the view name/scale where the name of my view is DETAIL A and the scale is scale 0.125 (as shown below).Sometimes we add a custom note under a view that is not system generated and I want to format it appropriately such as the image below but I want the lower portion to be not bold/not filled/sized differently.In Creo 2, I could select the lower portion and then go copy from existing text and format just the lower portion of the note.In Creo 3, I no longer can copy the format for a portion of a note, the copy format button is greyed out when I only have a portion of the note selected (see image, copy formatting icon is not available). Any work-arounds on this?

Hello Community,I have an issue by generating a HTML Report. I want to get the content of a Requirement ( or any arbitrary category ) in a HTML report by using JavaScript. I've found a computational method provided by PTC Intgerity which facilitates to get the Content by a specific ID:<%compute>getFieldValue(ID,"Content.fva")<%endcompute%>This method returns the content BUT it is not able to pass the ID dynamically, e.g  the ID has to be hard-coded to be able to use this method. I'm pretty sure that the"<%compute%><%endcompute%> " tag is computed before the HTML Report is generated (and the html and javascript code is translated in browser). When you uncomment the  <%compute>getFieldValue(ID,"Content.fva")<%endcompute%> statement and replace ID with a variable, the report cannot be generated though the statement is uncommented.Does anybody know how I can solve this problem by getting a content by ID dynamically?I'd really appreciate a solut

Greetings,   Using Creo 3: I have a drawing where there are multiple views of a part. I have added a new model to the drawing. I know about the Drawing Models>Replace which will switch the model to a family member for all the views. Is there a quick way to display which components within an assembly are constrained using the "Fix" option?I am updating a large assembly and have found some components are fixed into position. I have redefined the components I have stumbled upon as fixed, but would like to verify that the rest of the assembly is clear of fixed components. I realize I could check the definition of each component, but I'd prefer a quicker method than doing so for 150+ items individually. I'm having trouble figuring out how to pass an attribute value to a simple acl function that formats and returns the value to save it to a variable. Hi I am a newbie with Mathcad,I got something weird going on, that is when I am using the plot function to plot my equation, I don't get the y values in the chart matching the values of the actual function.If I start with a blank new worksheet it works just fine and I can't figure out what is wrong with the existing worksheet.The function I am trying to plot is Vmagn vs Imagn. Vmagn has the equation shown and will plot in y axis, the Imagn is a range of values and it will be the X-axis.Attached are the worksheets :Plot_with_no_problem.xmcdPlot_with_problem.xmcd (about Page 8- 9)The Vmag in the Plot_with_problem.xmcd worksheet is a lot higher then what it should.As you can see Vmag should start at 108 but somehow it starts at 2550.Let me know if you find the cause of this problem.I am using Mathcad 15.0Thanks,Adi.

Hello folks,I have here a set of equations in which I try to solve for a variable. First I used a vector to define distance l0 through l5, but Mathcad complaint that it can't accept units therefore I changed from vector elements to single variables with literal subscripts for l0 to l5.However, now the error says it is undefined.
