Our experts can create WTParts and link them with a owner associations to the corresponding ProE models.We also need to create image associations, but they tell me this is not possible with a script.Does anyone know how to do this?Best regardsDaniel Garcia

Hi all,for work I use Creo 3 linked to windchill so, to open a file, I look for it always inside a workspace of the PDM. For our corporate rules, the only CAD files that we manage outside the PDM are the simulations, so I have different folders with many Creo files.Yesterday I had to do cleaning of old files and, for mistake, I've done double click on  one. Usually I don't open a Creo file outside of windchill in this manner, anyway I was sure to start Creo Parametric; instead it started Creo Simulate like a stand alone program.I knew that there was only the FEM mode like stand alone (I've never use it because we not have the licence) and now I don't have time to investigate the possibilities of the other Simulate stand alone.So, at the end, my questions:which are the differences between using Simulate within Creo Parametric and:A) stand alone in FEM modeB) stand alone not in FEM modeThanksBye

I want to add pagination to a grid so that user can navigate between different 'pages' of data. I also want to display the count of total records in all the 'pages' in the grid.Since this is a standard functionality in typical web applications, so, i was expecting it to be available out of box with the grid, but, I am not able to find something like this in the grid properties. searching for pagination yields no results in TW wiki as well.Can somebody please help me understand how to do pagination in ThingWorx?Thanks

Hello everyone.I am now working on the project for my Creo course and I am using parameters and relations. I have also added an extra option according to which during every regeneration of the model there appears a small window where you can provide the value of each parameter (I did it as follows: Tools > Model Intent > Program > Edit Design). Everything works perfectly, however, I would like to limit the possibility of entering values. I'm going to explain it according to the specific example. Let's go.I decide at the begining that my model has for example a shape of the rectangle and is extruded at some distance. So, I create three parameter: SIDE1, SIDE2 and EXTRUDE. I'm choosing Tools > ... > Edit Design and in the new window between INPUT - END INPUT I provide each parameter with the proper command (e.g. "Enter the value of side 1" and so on). Hi Guys,I am trying to achieve a trend evaluation. I am receiving my properties from a EMS thing. I am saving those values in DataTable Upon data change (I need to use Datatable because I need to have a full row-by-row control over the results).I have added few properties like: trendAccCh1, trendSpeedCh1 and so on. These values are type of boolean. Now I would like to change them by comparing the current result and result before (of certain property). Something like that:If (my.CurrentPropertyValue > my.LastPropertyValue) {my.Trend = false}else my.Trend = truemy.CurrentProperty would be the last record in DataTable nad my.LastProperty would be the result before that. Does anyone have a clue how to achieve this?How to easily access last result and result before that?Or any other best-practice when it comes to trend evaluation.Thanks

How can the actitvy comments be retrived in a variable. Since i require to send these comments in notification mail in a workflow.

I just ran across something that seems.... strange.I created a promotion request for review and sent it to 3 people to review.  So far so good.  For the first reviewer everything works fine, and they complete the review task.  Then when the other reviewers click on the link in their email, they get a "You do not have access to this object or it does not exist" message from the website.Is this the correct behavior?  Seems wrong to me..-marc

We need to find the name & unique identifier for our reports.For example, we generate a report called "ABC Report", and it displays wtDocuments created over the last week.It displays this URL;https://ABCCO.com/Windchill/wtcore/jsp/report/reportGenForm.jsp?oid=OR%3Awt.query.template.ReportTemplate%3A43432832&u8=…for each of these reports, the "43432832" in this URL is unique.Is this in the database anywhere?

Good morningI am just wondering if it is possible to login from CLI command? The reason I ask is I have to import data through PTC integrity and into a web based application so if I can login from client computer it can import data for anybody that is using the web application.Thank you for the help

I just started practicing on PTC paramtic and I have a MacBook Pro, and I need to install the student software version, any help would be much appreciated.

I have one new user with a strangely-acting embedded browser.When he has CAD docs checked out to his workspace, the embedded browser shows the checked out files and only the checked out files. It shows none of the required children or formats. When he checks everything in, it instead shows nothing.When we check the workspace in a stand-alone browser all files show up.When we pick File > Open, all the files show up.He checked the Views setting and everything is normal.He changed the View to see if that was it but it was the same.He created a new custom View but it was the same.He changed between workspaces but it was the same. (One of the workspaces was relatively new.)I'm not sure what else to try. Anybody else see this behavior?

Dear,I've installed Creo 1.0 M030.I've checked the options "Mold Component Catalog" and "Plastic Advisor" during installation.Plastic Advisor works, but I can't get any access to the Mold Component Catalog.In the past (WildFire area) I've created a directory c:\ptc\prolibIn this directory I placed the following subfolders : objlib, mfglib, moldlib and created a prolib.mnu file.I added the following to the config.propro_library_dir c:\ptc\proliband all worked fine.Now I do the following in Creo 1.0 : I create a new assembly (suboption Mold Layout).I want to create a new MoldBase as I did in the past. I pick a moldbase from Hasco. Then Creo says in the message window it cannot retrieve the parts.In the installation manual it says all libraries are installed within the common files section. However I can't find any library file there.As the manual doesn't say a thing about pro_library_dir I disabled this and copied the folder moldlib to this common files folder.To cut a long story short I

Windchill appears to be non-functioning at 4:50PM CSTWe have internet, and are online with windchil, but cannot see any files in windchill.Does anyone know if it's a windchill issue, or local issue?

hiWe just moved to creo 3.Unless i am being stupid I cannot rename parts in assembly mode only the active assembly.Previously you where able to select individual parts in the assembly and rename in the assembly environment.Now i have to open the individual parts and rename each file in part mode.Am i missing something? this seems backwards from previous releases.We don't use windchill or any other data management.
