Hello, is there any way how to create surface from surface of solid part?I have an assembly with sheetmetal parts and need to create a part in this assembly from some surfaces of the sheetmetal parts.I can create surface with modeling tools, extrude,... but is is too complicated. We're having a difficult time trying to load our title blocks from a text file into annotation via the macro scripts (open_infile and read_file  ) Whenever we have the degree symbol in one of the lines it always comes out as    ¯   and even if we change the font we get the same conversion.  Is there any way around this?

Hi there I need some help to simplify the program that I made in Mathcad Prime  3.1 . I am using lookup  to get the required profile. But there are 2 conditions that I need to satisfy. If in condition 1 satisfied  the pre selected profiles. Condition two also should pass the utilization. If condition two did not pass how this will pre select up to a higher value to satisfy both conditions.  I attached the file for your reference.

After programming a part, I always make a workshop document to show how to do the work. In some specific cases I have to display the tool path on the document. But sometimes, there is more than one view. Is it possible to choose on which view to display the toolpath ?In fact, it displays by default the tool path on the first view created on the drawing.For example, on the view below I would like to show the tool path on the bottom view. But I created the bottom view after the top view. For the moment as a work around, I can delete the first view, display the toolpath on the bottom view, then create again the top view. Hi everyone, I have a problem that confused me a lot.Recently, I login to SL(user) that I created.After that, SL(user) used a mashup that can create a new user.The problem is that I can't create a new user.But if I give the SL(user )permission with the Administrator, it worked.How can I solve this?BTW, I have already permitted SL(user) with all the datatable, userextension, Entity Service.Thx a lot!

I am working on an extension package but am fairly new to Eclipse and Ant. I am looking for a way to add a build number into the build process, which ultimately will update the JAR and the metadata.xml file before including it in the zip.I think I have step one working right - added this line to my build-extension.xml script<buildnumber file="${config.dir}/build.number"/>Now that there is the Eclipse extension which seems to control that top line based on the project properties, I would think this isn't that hard to do but I'm at a loss as to how to do it. Hello all,  I have been a Creo user since proENGINEER 2001.  I have never run into an issue where I needed to accomplish this task and I have exhausted every work around I can think of and am looking for some advice on how you all would attack this problem.  Moderators, if this belongs in a different category, please feel free to move as you feel suitable.  See the attached pictures for a better understanding.Basically I have a linear actuator attached to a beam. I am updating an old application that contains Pro/Develop functions to work with Creo.  There a few Pro/Develop functions I cannot find Toolkit equivalents for.- prodrw_get_first_note_id- prodrw_get_next_note_id- prodtl_deleteThese functions are being used to loop through all of the notes on a drawing to delete them by their ID.Where p_drw is the current drawing (ProMdl).Does anyone have any suggestions to update these functions or use a better way to delete the notes?Thanks,CoreyThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello,  I hope you lovely people don’t mind me asking a question. So I would love to engrave a photo on a block of Al, but the problem I’m having at the moment is how to get a vector photo (i don’t know what is the correct name) into Creo (2.0 version). I am trying to develop an application that allows the user to see if a given value of axial load and moment can be will be safely supported on a spread footing.  Civil engineers are familiar with using interaction diagrams for columns and I am trying to implement the same principle for a spread footing.  The attached sheet works for the first two regions of the analysis where the load-moment curve is defined by decrementing the soil pressure from one side to the point where the pressure is maximum at one side and zero on the other.  If you look at the P array created by the sheet, it is correctly populated using a while loop which terminates when the pressure becomes less than zero.  After exiting the loop, I created a second while loop which starts calculating the axial load by moving the pressure triangle across the footing surface in specified increments.The problem is that although the second while loop executes correctly, I am not able to append the calculated

I am pretty new to Creo. but i have been using 3d programs for about 15 years. we are using Creo 2.0 still. I have a gripper on a slide that I want to show in two positions lets say up and down. I do not want the up position to be added to the stock list like if i were to just pattern the gripper details. so how do i show both positions on a drawing and not have it show up on the stock list as dbl. the qtys.? it would also be nice if I could have the up position shown in phantom like other programs do. thanks in advance.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi,I have drawn a sphere (you can find the attached file), but the data points are on the surface. I want a full sphere. As an example I drew only @r=3 and @r=5My first question is, I don't have an idea why we write λ(Θ,ϕ) <-- F(r,0,0,0,Θ,ϕ) on the 3D scatter plot. Why cannot we write F(r,0,0,0,Θ,ϕ) on the graph?I tried to write a for loop for the radius (r=0, r=0.1 .... r=n) and i want to see all the spheres on the graph.One more important point is that I need the x,y,z coordinates for these spheres but even for one single sphere I cannot see the coordinates of the data points.So to sum up,I have the code that draws a sphere but it only draws the data points on the surface, I need a full sphere. And, I need the coordinates of these data points. Could you please help me?
