Can anyone help on the above error what does it mean?

how long does it gonna take for PTC to fix the crashing bugs in Creo 3.0 M060? I just couldn't bear it anymore. It crash every 5 mins, everytime when i want to do something. and i have to keep saving my works, now i got 1 tb drawing folder. is there a way to move back to creo 2.0 or earlier version? even pro/e wildfire? m060 is crazy.......i saw teams i'm mentoring now are moving to solidworks...........hope we can fix something asap, even a Creo 3.0 M065 could save our life. In this case I added a round to a sheet metal wall using the round feature(Model tab>Engineering>round). Moving over to the annotation tab I thenselected the round in the model tree and used ‘Show annotations’.  The dimension shows and I accept it.  The dimension is now in the detail tree andis selected (highlighted).  When I clickaway the dimension stays in the tree but disappears in the model space.  I can select the dimension in the tree and itwill show.  Deselect it and it hides inmodel space again.  What is the cause ofthis issue and how do I prevent it from happening again?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I just installed MathCad and I’m wondering if there is an easy way to display complex numbers in polar format, or even preferable display it in degrees. For example, say I have a resistor and inductor. R1= 10 and L1 = 10j. I would like to display it as:R1 + L1 = 14.14 with a 45-degree phase angle. I see some stuff that might be help from about eight to ten years ago, but I was hoping there is much more simple way with Mathcad 3.1

Our editors rely on a handful of toolbar buttons that were removed in Arbortext 7.  I have most of them replaced, but I still need to tweak one of them.I've been digging through the Arbortext 7 Customizing Guide trying to figure out how to create a new toolbar toggle button that restores the Document Map button that toggles between Document Map view and Normal view.  I haven't found a solution yet and thought someone here might have done this already.  I currently have a button that shows the Document Map view, but in order to duplicate the functionality of the button as it existed in Arbortext 5, it needs to toggle between Document Map and Normal views.  Has anyone done that yet or know how to create such a button? Hello, Is it possible to move the atachment point of  bend note in sheetmetal drawing? I can move the text but need to move the attachment point also (to move along bend axis).I have long part and need to show the view as broken, but I cannot bacause the attachment point of the note is in the middle of the bend axis, therefore if I want to show the bend note i need to show also the center of the view else the note points outside the view.(in creo 3)thanks for reply.michalThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. When I try to import entities it says "NeoPersistenceProvider" is not available in Thingworx 6.5. I changed that to defaultprovider and imported again but got "ThingTemplate VerySmartVendingMach Had An Invalid Parent Thing Template : [EdgeEnhanced]". So I assume its a version problem. Could anyone tell me which version of thingworx had these missing entities (EdgeEnhanced)?

Is there a way to get a CAD or step file for PTC Creo of a sprocket that will go in an AndyMark chassis?  Or, do I have to make one?  Making a sprocket seems complicated.  If I can't get a file, is there a good tutorial for making a sprocket?

I am using the Measure tool to measure a sharpe angle between to surfaces, such as below picture shown, I thought the measurement result should be 60 degrees, but it turns out that the result is 120 degrees, I understand that the result Creo measured are from two perpendicular surfaces instead of the surfaces I measured, I can get the 60 degrees esult I want from some calculation, but it really annoying some times, especially if I need to take some picture to shown the measurement result to other people, every time I had to explain about this, I'd rather it give me a 300 degrees result, so that I can tell people that I am measuring the an obtuse angle between the two surfaces,   anyone can help on this? I'm having a problem figuring out how to do some math on a subset of a vector.  I have some data that I want to store in a variable (range or vector).  I want to be able to perform some simple math on portions of that variable, but it's not working the way I'd expect.(I apologize, I don't know how to add mathcad notation in this forum)Example.I have 4 elements I'm storing in a variable called row (row = 1,3,7,15) using range variables ii=0..3I want to take the 2nd through 4th element and subtract off the 1st through 3rd element and store that in a new variable which would have the result of newrow = 2,4,8I thought I could just do the followingjj=1..3kk = 0..2newrow[kk = row[[jj - row[[kkbut I get an error saying jj should be an integer.What am I missing?Thanks!

Can a cosmetic sketch be converted into a standard sketch?We are converting from one system to Creo 2.0.  We have labels with signal words,diagrams and descriptions.  We need to be able to color backgrounds, the diagrams and block lettering the appropriate colors.  For example the signal word "Caution" needs to be black with a yellow background.  The signal word "Warning" needs to be red with a white background and so on.  There are also some diagrams and additional information on the labels that need to be colored as well.  The designer doing the conversion created all these items using cosmetic sketch which was time consuming.  So if these words and diagrams can be colored filled using the cosmetic sketch, we are not aware of how this is done.  If it can't be, then using extrude and coloring the surfaces would need to be done.  But of course a cosmetic sketch cannot be used for features.  Recreating the labeling sketches is not desira

Hi,When I install the new Thingworx Postgre 6.5.2 (but there is the same problem with 6.5.0 and 6.5.1), the Thingworx Composer could not start. In "Application.log", there is an error of Postgre:..Reading configuration from configTableColDatastore database...ONCRITICAL ERROR ON STARTUP: ERROR: relation "root_entity_collection" does not exist...I used an PostgreSQL client to check the database and there is the table "root_entity_collection". Does someone had the same problem and how did you resolve it ?My postgre user, created for Thingworx, is not the same as my linux user. By the way, I wonder if Thingworx use the linux user to login to Postgre DB. It would not be possible, I even did not give the postgre username and password yet. I even can't start the Thingworx Composer. Tomcat8 does not have any error.

I'm adding an options file for our flexnet license server. In the options file I want to specify a TIMEOUT option for our print composer license. The line I added is "TIMEOUT 284 300." 284 is the print composer module and 300 is the number of seconds after which the license is reclaimed. When I restart the license server and check the log file it tells me that the print composer has had a TIMEOUT set for 1200 seconds. Any value less than 1200 results in the same outcome. Any value greater than 1200 results in the actual value being used. Is 1200 the minimum amount of time for a TIMEOUT? Is there anyway to override this minimum?Thanks,Rick

Does anyone have a report that will check to make sure there are WTparts created for all CADParts or CADassy files and spit back a list if the answer is NO?  If there is a way to select the product, that would be fantastic.  I looked through the reports already uploaded here and didn't see exactly what I was looking for.

Did a fresh install with both Creo3 M040 and then tried M070 In both cases Purge.exe does not run So I looked at my Environment Variables and not much listed there for PTC settings.   Case filed: Case# 12906038 Of coarse editing the Path and adding a bunch of support directories fixes it, but not going there on many PC installs. PC must have only CREO 3 and no other older versions, obviously the older versions have their path set correctly and Purge will work.   Might be a bad install setup. I'm having difficulty having my Mathcad Prime 3.0 sheet perform calculations containing vectors.The attached documents indicate my issue. For example, if I define a range variable, i, and a column vector, s'_u that I want to reference in my preceding calculations, I would like to say that alpha is calculated each time there is a s'_u value...thus making the calculated alpha variable a column vector of equal size. I hope my problem makes a little more sense once you take a look at the attached sheets.

I was wondering if there are other ways to configure PE to publish multiple jobs from PDMlink other than setting up another PE server.  I was wondering if there would be a way to do that with sub processes?Any help would be greatly appreciated!  - Brian

I have a part that is rather long and I want to show the relationship of the ends with respect to a feature located in the center of the part.  Therefore I would like to remove a section of the part on both sides of the feature in the center reducing the effective length so that the center and end features appear closer together.  Any suggestions for a fairly new CREO users (from Solid Works where and Inventor where this is a very easy operation!).  THANKS for your help!This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
