Hi    here i have one doubt regarding hole diameter , suppose i have created a hole of standard diameter of 2.5 mm  and this  standard also written in hole.txt file. now when i rum modelcheck the hole feature should not highlight because the hole is of standard diameter but the hole feature is highlighting in modelcheck ui. please tell me the reason why it is happening.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi All,I have a small piece of code, which returns me list of folders present in Windchill db.here is my search condition,SearchCondition sc= new SearchCondition(SubFolder.class,SubFolder.NAME,SearchCondition.EQUAL,FolderName,true);Input of Program >>  FolderName.if in Windchill FolderName "abcd" is created under two product, i.e. Product A and Product B.then it gives me result of "abcd" folder from both products.i want to add some criteria in search condition for particular product, so it gives me folder names of particular products.select folder name "abcd" where product is "Product B".Please suggest.Regards,Vivek

Hi    i am using a check - edge references it is working but the problem is that this check only gives me information of hole which is referenced from edge. i have created a rectangular slot in my model and referenced it from edge,since it is also a feature now after running model check  it is not showing rectangular feature to highlight.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello all,   I'm having a hard time figuring out why the pdfs generated by the CAD worker on our Windchill Server are different from the drawings manually printed to pdf from creo. Mostly commonly dimensions are flipped about a center line, but sometimes leaders lines are incorrect, or even angular dimension move! One trick we've found is that if the sketch plane of a feature is perpendicular to the view plane it seems to cause this issue. That is if a feature is sketched on a SIDE plane, but then the dimensions are shown on a FRONT view then those dimensions will often "move" on the printed representation.     I've already gone through all the config files, pentables etc etc that I can think of... Everything is the same between the CAD worker and our standard CREO installs. HiIn my Uni we use Creo 2.0 as the main CAD software and I have homework to do with it.I successfully installed the sw on my computer, however when when I tried to run it, I got the error message shown below.I also tried a couple times to run as administrator, install as administrator, dowload quality agent, etc, but not get any right results.When quality agent is not installed, it shows a different error message with a question if I want to register quality agent. Both Yes and No answer leads to the shutdowb of Creo.Could anybody please help me? Thank you! Error message:

Running Creo 3.0 M070 and Creo 2.0 M110. Creo 3.0 has a "Create as Solid" and "Create as Surface" option as well as a flip arrow.  I haven't found this documented anywhere.  It doesn't appear to make a difference between the 2 options, they both produce surfaces.  Any idea why its there?  I presume it could possibly consolidate BB with Solidify when applicable, but doesn't appear to work yet... HiI have recently started using Creo Parametric 2.0 as part of my University Coursework and I have a question about how I can install it on my personal computer to be able to work on my coursework at home. My current computer is a MacBook Pro and I am aware that Creo is not compatible with OS X so I have been investigating running windows via boot camp. My issue is that I am not sure whether Creo would run on Windows if I were to purchase it and install it. The only version of windows that Microsoft still sells is Windows 10 and from what I can see there is a bit of ambiguity as to whether Creo will run on it. Looking through the different PTC webpages, I have came across some pages that states that Creo is compatible with Windows 10, and others that say it isn't. To allI am playing around with plotting a set of (Y,Z) data.For each point I am calculating the angle: atan(Z/Y) and a magnitudeI have managed to create some plots (see attached) but none of them are very "good" because the data is "swamped" by the few high values. I had in mind some kind of polar plotQ1: Could any make any suggestions on way(s) of improving the plots?Q2: Is there a way of limiting the polar plot to 0-90deg?Any suggestions welcome...ThanksRegardsJXB

Hello everyone. I would like to ask you for some help. The problem is following. I have found in one movie on youtube that the user had projected parameters from his model in the rigth-upper corner in such way, that they were still visible with their values next to each other. He had done the same trick with the name of the model (this time in the left-upper corner). I would like to make the same, however, I have no idea how to deal with this. We've been using the Intelligent Fastener (mainly screws) for a while now and love it!  No more guessing where holes need to be drilled once we place parts in an assembly.  However, we've run into an issue with integrating this feature into Windchill and need some help.When you create a fastener, Creo appears to pull a part family our of its standard library set and this now appears in your workspace.  Not an issue at first as Creo and Windchill will happily import these parts into your model and store them in Windchill.However, we just created a new assembly (not using our existing robot), and when we tried to check it in, we could not.  All of the fasteners "already exist in Windchill" so we cannot upload them.  We tried updating the part with what's on Windchill using the workspace buttons, but to no avail.  Short of eliminating the fasteners or trying to replace them with the Windchill versions manually, is there a way to resolve this?  Can we mak

I can't get attachments to download through the API. I've tried adding "remote://" for both the "cwd" and "outputFile" options but nothing seems to point the command to my local computer. Any idea what I'm missing? Hey guys,I'm trying to build a function which multiplies a vector with each column of a matrix and returns this 'multiplied' matrix.However I get some errors I don't understand.I have the feeling that mathcad fails to cope with this "generator-type" (e.g. 0..6) inside functions.
