Creo 2, M160When adding a relation to a part this morning, I got this message:"You are about to edit a set of relations that was evaluated in a release prior to PTC Creo."On one hand, I understand this, our start part was built in WF5, this is Creo 2.  On the other hand, I've been working with these models all week (and with these start parts for months) and I've never seen this error before.  This particular part was created in Creo 2 and regenerated in Creo 2 many times.Likely not an issue, but I wonder what changed that triggered this now.  Anyone have any insight?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Recently I’m working in aluminium  frame design (a KittingTrolley), I tried finding some mechanical components (aluminium frame, angles Plate, trolley wheel) libraries for Creo. Hello,is there a way to export a Project Team in Excel format ?

Hello Guys!So I'm working on the creation of an XUI dialog in Arbortext Editor, what I would like to know is if there's a way to avoid to create the dialog twice. The way how I create the dialog is creating a new option in the menus bar and from there I call the script to create the window. I have another window and I'm using a global variable to store its ID so I can validate if the window is active or don't, however I think I can improve that method.Any ideas? In advance I appreciate so much your time!Paulette

In a flexlm with a number of floating licences, I'd like to know if there is a way in which a user can release the Creo licence without closing Creo. This would allow to stop working, lend your licence to another user, and after that, regain the licence and resume your sesion.Is it posible? Does anybody have a tool to do that?Thank you!Carlos

We're about to upgrade our workstations from Creo 2.0 to 3.0: however, a change in the IT department has left us with someone who has little experience with Windows much less Creo installations.  If we were to upgrade the machines, does anyone know if we can leave Creo 2.0 installed so that in the event something is wrong with the new installation, we can continue to use Creo 2.0 until Creo 3.0 is ready?

Hi!I've made a group from multiple interconnect PCB-s (I've made the block artifact of the pcbs first), and I'd like to achieve that the floating type connectors of the PCBs are attached in the group with datasets already applied (like this if I have to use a PCB multiple times in a design I don't need to add the connectors every time one by one, and add datatables to them one by one...). It's working fine now but if I don't need one of the connectors in an assembly I'd like to delete it, so it doesn't appear. Unfortunately I couldn't get this done. I'm working in Creo Parametric 2.0. With the picture presented, is it possible to make those three smaller holes use the larger center hole as reference, so if I want to move that center hole, the rest move with it? I just upgraded a users datecode of Creo, and I broke my rule of forcing the user to checkin all data and clear cache before performing the upgrade.  (I forgot, silly me)Anyway, now it is creating the _backup directory it does when changing from a pre-M100 version to a post-M100 version.  The user has 31gb of Cache (believe it or not, it isn't all that uncommon here).  I am curious if there is much risk in losing locally modified data if I just let it go. Or, should I kill Creo, reload the old Creo version, force the checkin/cache cleaning, and try again...Anyone have any experience with this?

How to activate isoview with Arbortext Editor? Perhaps I must re-install Isoview but how to do ? Actually the illustration are displayed in Arbortext with CreoView, I want to change because the quality of the illustrations are bad when I print in PDF. Can you help me ?

I've set my creo standards to metric, but in some occasions I need to use inches in the same drawing too. I got a new computer and loaded Isodraw onto it.  How do I go about transferring all of my preferences files (pens, libraries, etc) from my old computer to the new computer?

We are using MKS Integrity 2007 and I'm trying to implement Beyond Compare 4 as a Diff/Merge tool.Calling the program works fine with the tutorial over here: Beyond Compare Technical SupportThe only problem is that, after merging, MKS tells me that "The merge status from the third party tool is unknown".The return values of Beyond Compare seem rather obvious and sensible - 0 for successful merge.What does MKS expect as a return value here, so the merge is automatically considered successful? Is there a list of return values and what MKS interprets them as?

I opened a pro-E file in Creo3 but the names of all the parts are displayed obscuring the assembly.  Everything appears to be in a single layer and none of the annotation functions seem to allow me to remove/erase the text.  I'd appreciate any ideas to remove the text... Hello Everyone,Is there a way I can "abort" from a command?I'm currently waiting for Creo 2.0 to calculate a shell feature on a part.The task manager says the 4 cores are operating at about 8-12% power.  I've been sitting here for about 45 minutes.If I kill Creo in the Task Manager, I might need about 2 hours to redesign the part I was working on, but I'm not sure if Creo will finish computing anytime soon.Help, please?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
