I am working on the JONSWAP wave spectra analysis in-line with DNV-RP-F109 and having trouble soling the equations in the attached worksheet. The standard indicates that the wave number can be established by iteration from the transcendental equation, but I can’t for the life of me work out how to do it. Mike

Hi everybody,I have to thicken a huge surface (however it is as simple one) roughly 500 by 2500 mm. I would like to thicken it on 3 mm but I can't the minimum value possible of the range is around 5.5mm. I made different tests and I guess the thickening range is calculated based on the dimensions of the surface. Am I right ? Is there a way to change it ?Because even if I thicken this surface on 3 mm there will be no collision. I tried with a mere plane surface, a simple rectangle of 500 by 5000 mm but it wouldn't thicken it with 3mm.I'm using Creo 3.0Thank you for your help and sorry for my broken english.

Can I edit image files within Integrity?

We purchased the tool aroung September 2012. We were told that Telcodia issue 3 will be ready for free upgrade.Now I am trying to use it. I wonder how to get it upgraded. Anyone knows? Thanks.

Disclaimer :  In 3DsMAX i had an editable poly car model . Knowing i can only import the model into CREO3 as NURBS a in .IGS format , i converted the editable poly -> editable patch -> NURBS.   After I imported the model in .IGS into CREO3, it imported the model correctly, but created like a hundred unnecessary datum planes.Q : How could I get rid of all these datum planes ? Why were they created?-Is there a way to simply delete all? -Could Import Data Doctor help with this? A way to shut off creating these planes?-Maybe I should try a different import method? like .STL format?I just need this model as a half-transparent "background sample help" to recreate the car  in Creo3. Hello,How can I create assumptions about vector elements?  It seems that my approach below is not working:

when  i want to check in the model ,there is  some incomplete CAD document bring to the workspace,the PDM system let me to check in the erro CAD parts.i want to know how to remove it from the work space ?

How does Source Integrity indentify that a member has been modified and can be checked-in?   As per my understanding this happens when: * the contents of the members have been updated/changed; * the member file's modification date has been changed.    Please let me know if my understanding is correct? I am trying to understand how the source integrity decides when to update a member’s revision with default policies in place. 

Does someone know how to inquire the :base_face, :flat_origin and :flat_direction of a flat view in annotation. I tried to do it with (sd-am-inq-view), but I can't find these things. We already create one flat view, but we want to have a sheet with a second flat that is completely the same like the first flat. In Integrity presentation templates I insert an image URL to an image on the server (correct location). The image displays correctly. Later I come back to edit the template, and broken-link icon displays in place of image. Integrity will not allow to save template unless broken-link icons are deleted and new image links created. This has happened to me many times!! Very frustrating. Especially since the archaic grid interface practically requires you to use transparent images to control column-widths.How do you get around this issue? When will the bug be fixed? (I think I reported it a few months ago...can't remember).

Does somebody know if it is possible to print on a roll with a plotter? I want to be able to print a complete wire harness with a scale of 1:1. Therefor I want to print this on a roll paper like a banner. For instance the size can be something like 3000x841mm. Hello all,In order to support a business decision, I have need to determine a unique count of drawings, parts, and assemblies.  PTC support has offered the following sql query, but the numbers don't agree with advanced search results in the Windchill interface using the following search: Criteria:  Type=CAD Document;Number=*.prt;Iteration=Latest;Revision=Latest;Context=All ContextsThe sql PTC support suggested was:select count(*) from epmdocument;This gives total number of Creo Parts, Assemblies, and Drawings.select count(*), mas.doctype from epmdocument epm, epmdocumentmaster mas where epm.ida3masterreference=mas.ida2a2 group by mas.doctype;This cagetorizes into Parts, Assemblies, and Drawings.Anyone have any experience with a similar objective?Thanks again all.

Hello,Let's have a component (part or assembly) assembled in different assemblies. All these assemblies are subassemblies of top assembly.I would like to add to the drawing of the component a note about total quantity in top assembly (to sum quantities of it in all subasms).   Hello,  If I publish pdf and change element is put under page header, change word (Změna 1) in page footer is displayed incorrectly (twice). If change elements are among page header and footer or text of change element starts on first page and ends on second page, change word in page footer is displayed correctly (once).  I use Arbortext Styler 6.1, FOSI engine  Thanks  RichK
