I want to store a file in Windchill & have it only be valid for 12 months. After eleven months I want to have an email reminder sent to renew this document. Can I accomplish this with out of the box functionality? Utilizing subscriptions? workflows?

HelloPls am trying to install creo 3.0 for students but I have an issue. I cannot place the installation key in the provided box because the mouse cannot highlight it. I need help pls so I can start learning.

Example, I just imported 25 images but forgot to add a tag to our project, do I need to go back to each one individually to add the same tag?

Greetings,We have a custom extension which contains some Things implemented in Java along with some mashups.We would also like to include some Localization tables in the same extension and bundle everything into a nice clean zip file to be imported.However, if the zip file contains the Localization tables, we are getting the following error when importing:ExtensionPackage Cannot Contain System Objects or Editable System Objects]Is it (or will it) be possible to achieve what we need to achieve by placing both extension java code and localization tables into a single importable zip file?

We have configured Windchill to create pdf files from publishing CAD model drawings. The desire is then to select the thumbnail on the cad document details page in Windchill and have Creo View open the created pdf file. However, what we are getting instead is Creo View opening a plt file instead. How do you set the selection of the thumbnail into Creo View as the pdf by default?

As part of one of the Change Notice tasks there is a Set Up Participants function for the Auditor.Previously, it listed every member listed for that role on the Context's Team page. Because of people moving to other positions within the company, any time this changed I needed to go to every context and swap out the old member and add in the new member.With a recent redesign of our Change Management workflows, I put these participants into a group. Then I put the group into the role on the Context's Team page. Now if a change happens, I can just edit the group and not have to go into 17 different contexts to make the update. Efficient!Except now when the Set Up Participants is done, it only shows the group, not the members of the group. The auditor pointed out that it was much faster and easier if every member is listed and he just picks the remove icon for the unwanted participants. Now he has to pick add and type in the username.Is there a way to allow me to use a group on the context

Hi there,I have this little routine (see attached file MC15, Win 7) where I read in parameters from an excel file. For a better oversight of used values I display the assigned values by the explicit command. The catch is, even when restricting it by not using the keyword ALL, it displays all steps back to the very beginning; i.e. when read in from excel.Is there a way to limit the steps back of the explicit function?Raiko

Hello Guys,After long time....In ProE this option was enabled by default...i.e whenever we are selecting a part.. the filename of the part will be displayed in the message log...We can copy that and use... it is so simple to copy the filename of a component... we don't have to see and type...But,In Creo 2 that option is turned off.. I know it can be turned on... I have used this option in both Creo2 and Creo3..I forgot how I did it... I created a mapkey to create a mass property feature and then place it in the footer.The issue is… The first time I run it, it will do everything except add the feature to the footer. If I pick in the model tree and delete it, then run the mapkey again, it will move it to the footer. I’ve tried this a couple different ways. I need to be able to do a single level 'Where Used' on all the WTParts in a Library (there are 1000's)I guess writing a report is the way to do this (I am open to other suggestions...)But I have no idea where to start, and cannot find an example to work from...I am using Windchill 10.1.Anyone help please ?Thanks

I am working in Creo Parametric 2.0 and am trying to consolidate several wiring drawings in Creo onto one sheet. I have one drawing that I'm starting with just as a test, but I can't figure out how to put an additional drawing onto that same sheet, and maybe snap that drawing in line with the initial drawing.
