Suppose f(x) is the following function, defined when x>0.f(x)=e^x - 3x - x^2Use Mathcad to find the x-coordinate, to 2 decimal places, of the critical point f(x).Question: How to input this function into Mathcad to get the x values? Any takers to help, I am new to Mathcad.

I found this error at the time of adding the file in workspace. Please help me out to understand this.

Creo 3.0, M040   With Creo 3 I've noticed that when minimizing the active window to the taskbar, the other open windows remain open.  I did not have the config option "iconify_entire_pro" set but the default is "yes" so it should minimize all windows.  I went ahead and added it with no effect.   Is anyone else having the same issue and is there a resolution?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Has anyone have their custom table displays disappear from the table view drop down in Windchill (lite version)?

I have not found a way to diff 2 separate dev paths in Integrity. With other systems it is as simple as diff <path1 at some tag> <path2 at some tag> How is this done in Integrity?  How can you tell the differences in the content between dev paths?

Hi everybody,I borrowed a license with Creo 3.0 from Flexnet Publisher 1.10.1. Now I want to (early) return the license, but when usinglmutil mlborrow -return -c <server> <feature>I get the message "License server system dois not support this feature. (-18,201). Quick search on the net doesn´t help, but I need this license to be free 😕Do I have to change settings on the server? In the psf-file on the client I changed the ENV=PRO_ALLOW_EARLY_RETURN=true, but this doesn´t help.Any suggestions?Best Regards,Benjamin

Hello PTC Users,I have some parts created and saved in Creo 3.0. But version of regular CAD software with majority of users is Creo 2.0. I am looking for any way to open these data in to Creo 2.0 such that I can maximize the utilization of these data.Is there any way by PTC to covert Creo 3.0 data and make it suitable/compatible to Creo 2.0?If Point # 1 is not availalbe, then what is the best method to do this?Thanking you,with Regards,PRASHANT DUDHAIYA

I have a time domain function (damped sine) in MATHCAD that needs to be fft, then attenuated by a frequency dependent vector. To do that I need to:- perform fft on function- interpolate the fft with the attenuationI have tried VECTORIZED with no success. Can anyone help with creating a vector/matrix from a function?

Is there a way in Creo to place a point, axis, or coordinate system at the U/V midpoint of any single surface?Creo can place a point "on center" of a circular surface, but I would like to do the same thing with a rectangular surface.NX has this ability. You can place a point on the center of any surface by giving it a .5 x .5 ratio of it's U/V lines. Is there anything like that in Creo?If not, is it worth writing a product idea? I am able to import a word document (test specification document) in to PTC Integrity Test management (test Document and test Cases) but into not able to map contents into Test steps. What am I missing here?

I'm working on this Angle Bearing for a class (really simple part so it shouldn't be taking me this long) and the one thing I'm stuck on is the hole that is extruded across the top surface of the part. I've never really worked much with angled extrusions in Creo - Creo 2.0 Parametric - and so this is kinda tricky for me. I've got a basic sketch of the larger hole and the path I want it to follow, but I'm lost as to how I can actually make it an extrusion across that surface. I want it to start on the edge it's sketched on (obviously) and then stop on the other side of the part.Any help is appreciated!Thanks!

Hi...I have a script that executes the command: "aa user --groups myuserid" but I'm not able to extract all of the output. I get the first line (which is the userid), but none of the groups. Can someone provide and example for how to do this? I can't help but think that this has been solved several times already. Below is the function-snippet from our trigger that has the core logic.I have a very similar function that performs the command "aa groups" that works just fine. Currently there is an understanding that a trace/link between two data objects can be created through a drag and drop. Is there any other functionality within the tool that uses this drag/drop? (other than standard windows functions like moving files or attachments)

In Flexible Modeling, is there a way to move a boss along a curve? When I place the dragger on a curved edge it only moves the boss in a linear direction.I am moving the boss on top of this part (highlighted in red) and placed the dragger on the curve (highlighted in red). You can see the move is linear. Is there a way to move this boss along this curve an have the boss remain normal to the surface as in it's start position?Thanks,Dan

I actually have two questions.Currently our symbols and tables are on a shared network drive.  I am considering putting our drawing symbols and saved tables in our system.  I may be wrong but it doesn't look like I can import them directly to a workspace.  The only way I found is to add them to a drawing then save them to a workspace from the drawing.My first question: Has anyone added these to their system?  If so do you have any points of interest?The only problem with this is when they are saved they are set to the type "Other".  I can't find a way to search on that.  The "Other" type is not an option to search for in the Search tab on the Navigator.  I also tried to create a report but couldn't figure out what to use.  It's not even in Type and Attribute Management.My second question: Is there a way to search on only the "Other" type in PDMLink?

Creo 2.0 m080 I am working with a model that contains a blend.  The sections are offset from previous sections.  When I show the annotations of the feature on the drawing, the offset dimensions don't show.  Has anyone run into this before?  How can I show the dimensions without creating the dimensions in the drawing.   This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
