Hello, I have an array of numbers. I don't know the number of members. I want to pick the member at the middle (or close to the middle if the number of members is even).Is there any function in mathcad for doing this job? Could you help me with this?Thank you

I have a set of 4 XYZ coordinates through which I would like to draw a line, then sweep the line to create a non-planar tube. Maybe there is a better way to do this? It seems as though it should be simple to import points, drawing a line chain through the points, and then sweep the line. Help? I'm using Creo Parametric 3.0 M040. I don't have the Piping module. Hi!Just I wish to Review the elements type and size detail that CREO 2.0 Academic Edition has created and applied AutoGEM controls in the process of meshing. I could see the whole model but I have several parts inside the assembly of great interest (and I can´t view because are hidden by others parts). Dear Community,I'd like to evaluate a user-defined function for multiple input arguments using a vector. The problem is that my function contains the min-function and the user-defined function is evaluated only for the smallest argument. The following illustration shows my (simplified) function to calculate the force distribution in a concrete plate.Is it possible to adapt the function, so that a vector can be used as input argument, or do I have to use a range variable?Thank you for your efforts!

I have several items in a drawing that repeat. I highlighted the item, right click and hit copy. Then I go and Right click>Paste and the dialog box comes up where I need to pick the source point of the pasting object, then I have to click where I want my object located in the drawing, pretty straight forward. What I am curious about is if there a way to paste the said item several times after picking the source point once instead of going through the entire process over and over again.The objects go in separate locations therefor copying several of them at once and pasting it is not a good move since I would have to go back and delete the items that aren't necessary. I use intelligent fastener to create holes in the meantime when I assemble the bolts. Recently I found the counterbore hole created by the intelligent fastener is different from the hole created by "hole" function in parametric. For example, when I assemble a M8 socket head bolt ( ISO 4762-8.8), let the "IF" create a counterbore hole on the top part. By default the diameter is 15, which shows as "DIN974-1 R1 -15.000". But if the hole is create by "hole" function in parameter, the default diameter of the counterbore is 14.5. I do understand that the hole created in parametric could be modified manually or modified the relevant hole chart. And I do know the hole create in the "IF" can be modified manually as well. I am wondering is there a way that I can set the default size of the hole in "IF". I am tired of checking holes all the time. In parametric I could set the hole chart as per my requirement. But what about "IF"? I have searched around both in google and PTC online help? All I c

I know it's mainly a training issue; but, how do you prevent a (new) user from overwriting Released parts, assemblies, drawings, erc? As long as a file is in Work state, I don't care if a user overwrites all day long, I just want to stop him from overwriting files in Released state. Hi everyone! I have a few questions about parameters and functions (derived parameters). First, how is it possible to make a parameter with an auto generated serial value. I'd like to make the entry-port parameter's value to be generated automatically, like in the name format if you write # it will increment the value by one. So I would be able to add the entry_port parameter to a variable connectors port, and if the connectors instanced the entry_port parameter values would be filled automatically with 1-2-3-..... (the same as the pin names). The same way, it would be nice to have a Page parameter, whats added to a template sheet, and if I create the sheet, the page parameters value increments automatically. So if I would have this parameter I could reference the sheets with it in the xref shapes label. If I can't make it this way, the sheets name would be good too, but I currently don't know how to do it yet (My next question will be about xref labels). If there's no way to make an a

Hi everybody,   one of our designers has a new workstation with Creo 2.0 M160 (server windchill 10.2). When starting Creo on the new pc he always has the first workspace in the workspace-list active. Seems like Creo doesn´t save the change of the active workspace. Hi,   I often have to review steel weldments for structural integrity which are located on a moving vessel (Pitch, Roll, Heave etc). Previously I have calculated the forces induced due to the vessel motion and added teh forces to the model in a static analysis which works okay and has passed 3rd party verification in the past.   However I feel like it should be possible to miss out the hand calcs and input the vessel motion into Creo directly (i.e. pitches 8 degs in 5 secs, rolls 8 degs in 5 secs, heaves 10m in 10 secs etc etc..) and have it spit out the the resulting stresses. Screen shot attached.  This page appears I then change the URL  to https://plms4schools.ptc.com/precisionlms/ which immediately reverts to the original , Schools LMS : Login and I can login as usual.  If I then save that URL as a home page the next time I load IE 11 the same error appears. I created a service to create Things programmatically from unbound remote Things. I modeled it upon the service created in the PTC University Learning Exchange tutorial, Programmatically Add Things and Automatically Assign an Identifier.I extended the example a little bit, with the intent of adding model tags to the Things as they were created. Hey Guys I’m trying to programmatically create and add DataTags to things so that I can filter and post to a blog widget by the selected tag. I see that the AddTags() function only assigns/creates ModelTags, and you can’t post something to a blog that is tagged with a ModelTag. Is there a DataTags equivalent to the AddTags() function?Thanks,Matt
