I have a project that was moved into another project using Integrity client.  After the move,  our auto merge scripts have been failing whenever it tries to merge those members from the old project.  Usually the error says something like "it doesn't belong in the project variant" and the change package doesn't get propagated which results on continuous errors. Is there a way around this ?

I've created a note, both inside of an annotation feature and in the new "Detail Tree" and now I can't figure out how to make modifications like adding a @[ around the note. If I click twice on the note and start editing it literally adds a "@[" to the note.   Maybe my memory is incorrect, but in the past couldn't you change other properties of the note as well??? When I use mirror in part mode I usually prefer to mirror the complete part.Is there any way to exclude planes from being mirrored.I usually have no use of the mirrored planes and I prefer to add mates in assembly to original planes like side or top plane.Wrong planes can easily be selected by mistake. I have spent an embarrassing number of days wondering. . .Where is this wiki?And why is it so hard to find?

As has been noted many time previously, entering an https address into the M15 hyperlink dialog produces an invalid path/address error.   To add insult to injury, as well as the annoyance of having to remember this when the problem occurs, the dreaded dialog even appears when linking to a Community thread!Given that a simple fix is to remove the "s", why don't PTC just fix the problem (they could release it in M050 along with a fix to the limitation on matrix display size "feature" that got introduced in M040)?Stuart

Is there a way to create a 2D DXF of a part automatically?We have a template with only 1 view with an orientation DXF. Hi,I want to write a Python-Program for monitoring the PTC Integrity server. Since i haven't found a way to read the gc.out file directlyI settled for using <im diag --diag=metrics --target=server> but I am a little confused regrading the returned information. For each part of the Heap there is a "current" and "peak" value: is this current in use/ currently available and is peak the total storage or the peak of the used storage in the past? I am also interested in knowing if the multiple values for the "average response time" were takenjust for this command/result or were they collected over a longer period and so only the last value gives information about thecurrent state?I hope that someone has already some experience with this kind of output and can help. I am able to make remote service calls and get returned data, however... The company that I work for uses Windchill 10.1 as a simple check-in/check-out and revision tool without any automation.  When a drawing and model file needs to be revised, it is selected from a workspace and the new revision is created there and eventually checked in.  The state (in design) of the new revision is also set from the workspace at that time.  My problem is that creating a new revision and setting the state of larger assembly files takes a long time because of how the collector wants to list all of the dependents under that large assembly.  In addition to that, the Windchill collector default is to bump the revision or state on depenendents that we definitely do not want to change.  To get around this I've started using the "search in table" tool within the collector list to display only the files that I need but I was just told that in spite of the window displaying just the files that I want to revise, behind the scenes Windchill will still bump

I wondering if someone can help me with a simple way to display the CG of a model.  I know in the past I have seen models that had a small sphere at the CG, but I have no idea how they placed it.

I'm attaching a simple file that uses AdamsBDF to solve a spring/mass motion problem.  I added units to everything and it worked perfectly, but then I added an "if" statement that generates a ramp function and tried to use it in the D(t,X) matrix and I get a units error even though the ramp function spits out Newtons.You can reproduce the above by toggling which F(t) is disabled or enabled.If you want to look at the file (Prime 3.0 format) and provide feedback, I would appreciate it!

I'm a new user to the ThingWorx platform.  For the purposes of making things easier to explain, let's say I'm setting up a delivery truck system.I have a hotspot device running the Edge Microserver set up that is successfully connecting to the platform and showing as an unbound thing in the monitor.  I have created a truck "thing" (from the RemoteThing template) on the platform side with the properties I need but I'm not sure how to bind that to the device running the EMS.Is there a walkthrough on this type of setup or anyone who has experience doing so that might be able to explain what needs to match up to make binding work?  Does my device have to register with the same name/identifier as the thing I set up in the platform for them to link up?

I have Windows 10 and Creo doesn't seem to be compatible. Is there a way I can fix this without deleting 10 and staying on windows 8?

Hello i need help with an easy task. I should do an curve witch i think exist of three arcs, but it should be done Exactly like in the first Picture(same symbols, same numbers and so on). CREO 3.O ISSUE WHILE CREATING FAMILY TABLE PART. I have importing dxf file and creating part and instances from that part. Hello, I have two questions. Is there a way to determine where is the redundancy while performing a mechanism analysis? For example, let's say that you assemble a mechanism and check all the steps previous to the analysis (motion axis settings, dragging operations, reconnect etc.)Now you run an analysis and when you measure the redundancies Boom! Your model has 6 redundancies! So, in other words, what's your advice to find such redundancies? (Besides checking the connections one by one, or adding constraints in the analysis dialog box) Is there a way to find the exact connection that creates such redundancies?The second question, I know that redundancies are important because it ensures the quality of the analysis, but.. To get the value of a localization token in a service, you can use the following snippet. Do we know what the corresponding code is inside a widget? If I use `getProperty()` on a localized string I get back something like "[[TokenName]]" (where "TokenName" is the name of the localization token the user bound to the property. So I'm doing some engineering calculations and wants to solve for an unknown in a algebraic expression with only one unknown.Does MathCad have support fort that? my issue, coming from intralink, when i checked in with intralink, i was able to check in, to review, so the manager could review, and release the part.   with windchill, i cant set state, unless the part is checked in.  when i take a released part, i click revise icon, it goes to In work state, where i can make my changes.  i check out the part, make my changes, but i cant set state to review, when i check in.  is there an option so when i check in my work, it goes to review state so my manager can then review, and release.   thanksThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
