i am a beginner, i want to work with smaller dimensions but when I enter dimensions like 2in. , the 2in. line appears micro whereas i have seen tutorial videos in which the display automatically zooms in when smaller lengths are entered. i am using CREO 3.0 M020 educational edition.

Hi,I'm trying to use the Java SDK on Android 5 and I'm encountering an issue with the WebSocket. I've successfully created and tested the App on the Android simulator but when I test the same APK on a Phone it's not working. The communication with the TWX server failed. I want to create a mapping configuration for the Excel integration that will give me all of the work items in a project. I want to be able to specify the project in the dialog in Excel.How do I go about doing this? I can't figure out how to enable that Project field.

Hi everyone.We to solve a problem with large frame-type models. The idea is to claculate a whole frame using idealized beams first, obtain resultant forces in certain parts and apply equivalent forces on solid models afterwards. How to do it?I started from testing the functionality of Creo Simulate 2.Firstly, I created a test frame, where beams were created using sketched curves and datum curves.Creo Simulate model:Results window - stress Von Mises:I am interested in obtaining forces in the central C - frame, which is most loaded. When I go for Beam Resultant - Force - Y and choose the frame, I obtain some results, which I am not able to interpret. While applied vertical force along Z direction is 7500 N, fringe image shows two opposite resultant forces. The resultant forces along X axis look bizzare as well:What does that all mean? I have a customer that wishes to use the character "&" in an attribute of an SGML tag, such as <tag name="Test I&R package">.That is how they would like to see it during edit but when the file is opened the string gets a semicolon added after the R so it displays as "I&R;" - as if it is being change to an &R; entity. I cannot get the Arbortext editor to stop changing the display to show the semicolon after the R.I can control display of CDATA content correctly so I&R displays correctly rendered as "I&R" but cannot get the attribute text to behave similarly to show I&R as without the appended semicolon. Also, using I&R in the name attribute does not render it correctly as it then shows "I&R". Any ideas out there?

Hi...As I want to assign variable values as per condition in Mathcad which have to continue for next calculation, I will explain detail by following example.As per Above example, I have assign values for variable ss, pp and Shaft_Type, So I have different values if my Shaft_Type is 1 or 2 ( Shaft_Type value will comes from Creo).and same values will be applicable to my rest of calculation i.e. if my Shaft_Type is 1 , ss=4 and pp=10, and if my Shaft_Type is 2. ss=5 and pp=12. and later on I want to do calculation by taking these ss and pp vaules.So please can you help me.Thanks,Prashant Pandarkar

Hi All,   I would like to set my radius arrows to lead to the radius centre point, as per ISO standards:   I have set my .dtl file to "radial_dimension_display std_iso" which matches the example in the PTC online help files here. Just a general question if anyone has knowledge on this... What version of Windchill will be compatible with Windows' new web browser Edge(Spartan)? It is a completely redesigned browser that is not in any way tied to IE, so just wondering what it's all going to break.Reason I ask, is we are looking at upgrading Windchill soon and would like to not have to upgrade again shortly down the road because of compatibility issues.

Ok, odd title, but it contains all of the keywords, right?To start: working with Windchill 10.2 with only minor customizations.  Currently, we use Promotion Requests to move from change states to our locked release state.  The process is set up with a checker who compares (manually) the information attached to the objects in Windchill with the information in our ECO system.  When there are problems/mismatch between the two, the Windchill Promotion process is rejected with a comment explaining the problem.What I am looking for: The comments when the process is rejected are saved somewhere.  I know this because I can go under the process tab of the promotion request and see the comment in the process status for the task Approve Promotion Request.  What I want to know is, how do I find out where this comment is stored in the tables, and how do I add it to a query to be put in a report?  When I go into Query Builder and look at the list of tables, it is enormo

Just installed Creo Parametric 2.0 M170 and two of my Java Toolkit applications won't start anymore.Haven't had any problems with these applications in all earlier build codes of Creo Parametric 2.0.I used the same installation xml files as always. We are having an issue when printing to a specific printer the prints are pushed all the was to the bottom right and it is cutting off some of the information for the drawing. Is there an option in the PCF file for the printer where it would force it to center on the page? This is an OCE TDS600 plotter. We jsut got an upgrade to Photoshop. Using the crop tool we crop images to 3.12 X 2.25, 300 dpi. When placing it into IsoDraw, it used to fit our template, now it is way oversized. See attached image the square in the middle is the template.Bryon

Happy Friday All,Is there a way to take Objects in a Resulting Objects table, in a CN Implementation plan task, and add them directly to a Creo Workspace?  Just as in PDMLink you can add CAD objects directly to a workspace, it would make sense to be able to do the same thing from a resulting objects table since the assignee with a CAD task would much prefer to dump the contents of the table into a Workspace and get to work.Thanks in AdvanceBob Lohbauer
