In Wildfire there was an option to set system colors to the initial "scheme", this option does not appear in the dropdown menu in Creo 2 interface. Did they remove this functionality? Menu mapper is of no help here. If a user has a custom syscolor setup is it not glaringly obvious that one would often revert back to it after temporarily altering the scheme? With the Creo UI as I see it I have to manually browse to a syscolor file to revert to the initial scheme.  Very frustrating, the latest in a string of lost functionality requiring more user actions to do something than previously!The only thing even remotely near the lost functionality is that if you have a syscolor path loaded in the dialogue box and select custom you can acknowledge this with "OK" and it will read it in.Does anyone know how to set this up without me having to make a mapkey for it? Is it possible to set a custom "default" scheme by reading a syscolor file with config option? If this functionality was removed

I like use Mathcad 15, and I know it will compatible with the Win8.1 and will be released this year. Does anyone know any information about the Mathcad 15 M040 releasing?

Hi,There are certain characters that show up in our raw data that we would like to automatically alter because they cause problems when we finally upload them to our website. Some examples of characters we needed to alter are the mdash (—, unicode 0x2014), rdquo (”, 0x201D), ldquo (“, 0x201C), rsquo (’, 0x2019), lsquo (‘, 0x2018), etc. I understood that I could use charent.cf for this purpose. As a test, I followed the procedures and copied charent.cf from Arbortext-path\lib to Arbortext-path\custom\lib and edited the file here to replace the Left and Right Pointing Double Angle Quotation Marks (», 0x00BB and «, 0x00AB) with a quote mark ( ", unicode 34). It worked like a charm: when I opened a document containing the double angle quotation marks using Arbortext Editor, they were automatically converted to the quote mark and I was able to save the document with the changes. However, we didn't need this particular change after all so I restored the original lines and added my new conver

I changed my network card and now I can't move my licence

Hi all,   I have figured out (at least for what I need) family tables and making models from them. I type in either the family table through Pro E or I open the Excel sheet and do major updates. When I go to open the parent model I get to choose which instance I want and it will automatically create the model. This is pretty much what I want to happen but with drawings rather than models. Is there a way to type in the family table and get a drawing to come out automatically just like it does for a model? Hi,   is there a way that I can keep the 3D model dimensions with decimals, but that by default when creating dimensions in a drawing there is no decimal (we are working in millimeters) ?   We needed to keep the decimals for modeling, but that impact the drawings dimensions as well. Hello!I have downloaded Creo Parametric 3.0 with students licence (for a univeristy). I somehow can't seem to be able to download the Mechanism Dynamics extension. I need it for trying out a conveyor belt design that I am making. I have been trying to use Web.Link to create PDFs of drawings from CREO 2.0 Parametric.  I can successfully get it to create the PDF with all of the standard settings but i need to change the output color to monochrome and have it only PDF the first sheet.  The users guide is not very helpful with this, it lists the available options and option values but I can not figure out how to apply them to the pdf instructions.  I can not seem to assign the OptionValue as per the UG -   OptionValue—Specifies the value of the option in terms of the pfcArgValue object. Basically I have two Synology servers with Creo files on each one. One server has files anyone can access whereas the other is only US citizens. I was told it was a pain for the engineers to have two mapped drives in Creo so I am curious of what solutions out there exist for this. i am not familiar with Creo myself I only manage the two servers where the engineers store there data. Hi,I need some help with a doubt creating assembly drawings. I have a template with some subassemblies and parts. Here's an example of the assembly structure:What I want to create are different drawings of this assembly, but showing different subassemblies/parts on each drawing. For example, I want the drawing 001.drw wich shows AA.asm and BB.asm, the drawing 002.drw with AA.asm and C.prt and 003.drw with BB.asm and C.prt. (this is the simplified example, but imagine the case with a real big assembly structure...).If I don't want to use any rep, I could create new assemblies (001.asm, 002.asm and 003.asm) with the info I want them to contain, and create the drawings of each new assemblies. i 'm beginner.. facing a problem regarding dimensions.. they initially appear as perhaps these are in mm. i want to use inches, i went here they are already in inches.. i changed to others settled them back to this but no avail.. they keep appearing the same way.. i want to work with inches in single digits but when i type in 1,2 thing appear in micro..nd i guess they show 1mm,2mm etc not inches...while by default creo is set to inches.. i 've creo 3.0 M020 educational edition

If I use Mathcad 15, I can define a variable such as "a:= .7 in"  if I write this exact same thing in MathCad prime it will result in an error.  I have to write "a:= 7 in" then come back and add the decimal place after it's accepted 7 inches.  What am I doing wrong? This seems absurd and is incredibly frustrating.

On some clients when opening a .pdf file the following errors are given and the file opens in Adobe reader rather than in CreoView.Failed to load the file. Check the Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader InstallationandCreoView - productview.exe has stopped - A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. We installed Creo 2.0 on two computers. One computer runs Windows 7 and one runs Windows 8. On the PC running W8 mouse wheel zoom is not working. We tried using three different mice from different manufacturers and got the same result so we are guessing the problem is in the operating system. So does anyone have any ideas on how to make zoom work on the PC with Windows 8? tyEDIT: Just to add, we can use the mouse wheel in every other program normaly and can even scroll trough tabs in Creo. Only zoom does not work.

I am trying to create a new template from a working form. In the form I am prompted for parameters when I create a new drawing. When I create a template from this form, I am no longer prompted for these parameter. How to define user access/permission to Meshup / Tabs?Created Two groups and added group members. Removed Users from Everyone Org. I've created a service for creating new Things based on the unbound Remote Things. When i proceed to the install licensing page the place where we have to enter the license isn't usable(can't click it). I am using windows 8. So i downloaded the win8/8.1 version from PTC website. But still it doesnt help.   I have attached the screenshot of it..   HELP PLEASE!
