Hello all,I'm trying to add some custom attributes to publication structures, but I'm having some difficulties.I can add the attributes to the pub struc just fine. However, the attributes do not appear in the dialog box when doing Edit Attributes. How do I edit custom attributes on publication structures or add them to the Edit Attribute dialog?I thought this would be similar to adding and editing attributes for DynamicDocument, but it appears pub strucs have some differences.Thanks,-Jeff

Hi everyone!I've just started to use PTC Creo Schematics 3.0, and I have a problem with routing fibers. I'd like to place wires simply, without the catalog selector dialog box opened every time. So if I would push the route fibers button, it would place the same (for example: sample wire) every time, and I would define the specifications for them later from the database. I saw a tutorial video, where the place fiber button was blue by origin, and the designer placed wires like I described. In my case the button is black/grey and the catalog selector opens every time I push it. Hi All,   My query is with reference to incorporating the relation in parametirc BOM table.   I'm working on assembly, which has close to 100 components, including the wire harness & hardwares. My BOM should call out for rpt.qty of each components, but for the wires i should show the qty in terms of total length of the wire, for ex 2 feet or so.   I tried to use IF relation to get it done, but couldn't succeed on it. I'm able to get the relations verified without any error, but when i try to evaluate the relations I'm not getting any result, it just shows error in output field (relation i used is given below in here for reference).   IF "asm_mbr_part_number" == "XXXX-001" rpt_qty = "2FT" ELSE rpt_qty = rpt_qty ENDIF   Any help is much appreciated...   Hope I'm able to make my query clear in here.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello,I need to know the projectType of projects in a sandbox, (meaning if they are build or normal etc.)Until now I could use the command "si sandboxinfo --sandbox=... --xmlapi"With Integrity 10.7 --xmlapi has been discontinued and using the same command without --xmlapi doesn't seem to give me the projectType.Which command should I use for this matter?Thanks in advance,Luca.

Hello,Is it possible to force Creo saving new files always to Working directory?I have this problem:I have assembly in working directory and have libraries with some parts (screws, nuts,.....) these directories are set in search.pro.When I assemble some part from these directories the current file path will change too. It means that when I create new part and savethe dialog shows the last file path (path to the library). Sometimes I forget to click working directory and the part is saved to library.. . Hello,The Integrity instance I work with has an attachment growth problem. Although we have implemented Attachment size restrictions, the growth rate is still projected to grow our database size in a way that negatively impacts our database refresh time. As a result, I've been tasked with identifying a method to remove attachments that are a specific age or older from the Attachments Table. The method identified will then be implemented as a routine data purge process for our program.I've searched the documentation and community discussions for a best practice as far as removing Attachments from the database, but have not found any yet. Removing a given Attachment from an item via the GUI or API commands does not seem to delete the actual attachment file from the database. I'm seeking a safe method of removing a given attachment from the Attachments Table in the database itself. Does anyone know of a recommended or best practice method of deleting attachments from the Attachments table

Hi everyone!I'm having problems with Creo Schematics 3.0. I'd like to make a shape to an interconnect diagram connector(or any other artifacts), and in the shape editing process I'd like to fillet the corners of the rectangle I've made, but I can't. Creo says:  "error, operation only valid in edit mode". I can't find a way to enter EDIT mode, how is it possible? I'm having quite similar problems with central catalog, I cant edit existing items in the catalog, because they are in the central catalog. I've read something about password protected designs, that if I enter the password I become an editor of the central catalog, but I didn't find any way to make a password protected design. Good Day All,I have run into this message in the past and have not thought much of it till now.Running a simple assembly containing 3 parts in Creo Parametric Simulate. I have 4 results windows up on the screen for the same assembly obtained from a design study that ran 4 separate load cases in the design study. We are considering adding the DITA Machinery task and Side by Side Procdure topics to our DTD. Just wondering if anyone else is using them and if there were and concerns or suggestions before we embark. We are slightly concerned since its a specialization that there may be things we are unaware of. ANy input at all is welcome.

Hi, In matlab it is convenient to multiply two vector cell by cell with .*,But I don't know how it works with Mathcad, 15 or Prime.Is there a built-in function for that or I have to program.Could someone help me with that?Thank you

I am trying to convert a decimal numeric dimension to a fraction in an ebom drawing table. I have already added a parameter to the dimension and I am able to reference the parameter in the table. Hey folks,I have a situation where I'm referencing an attribute value from the root node in a block that is getting formatted into a table with gentext. The problem is I lose the attribute value because XPaths do not work in gentext very well.Consider the sample XML...<root attr="foo"><block><p> The value is <placeholder target="attr"/>.</p></block></root>I have an XPath/Attribute set on placeholder to get the value of "attr" from the root node. The stylesheet is formatting <block> into a table. When these combine, I lose the value of attr in placeholder.I've seen this done before, but can't remember how it is done. Hi,I need to create a view in a part, to be shown in a drawing, and it has to have certain pespective. It has to match an AutoCad drawing's perspective. Hi,I want to create mashup URL which can be accessed without prompting for login credentials. How do we do this? I thought of using application key in URL, but app key can be used for REST API calls only. Is it possible to make initial landing page mashup without login?RegardsSatish
