Is there a way to change of units of an assembly and all of it's associated parts at once? If you change the unit system for the assembly it does not propagate to the parts within the assembly. I've attached an image of my work below. It seems like it should be very simple to have Mathcad evaluate the expressions highlighted in red so that the entire matrix is much simpler. But I've tried all the symbolic keywords and none of them seem to work. What am I missing?

I'm trying to understand if explicit attributes initially flow from Windchill into the Creo model. It seems that this is the case. Also, does identifying uppercase Creo parameter in the "Creo" field of a specific attribute (via Type Manager) make that attribute explicit?

Hadn't had time until lately to investigate playing with this again.  It's a shape with a single side, and a single edge.  I managed to fix it and get nice smooth tangencies, and the exact geometry I wanted (rate of OD change, rate of unfold to refold), and make sure the unfolded width was the same length as the circular section circumference.  I just added a thickness to it so I can 3D print it. Hallo,I would like to create a family table where the instances have some features (as holes for instance) that must not be present in the father, because the father is the rough product from which all the variations (with various features representing the machining processes) are obtained. Is there a way to do this? I am struggling to find how to create a 3D curve in Creo 2.I remember the feature where you would sketch a curve on two perpendicular planes then you where able to use those sketches to create a 3D curve.Does anyone else remember this feature or has this now been taken away from Creo or just renamed to something completley different?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi.   Creo at startup reads 3 configuration files. The first one is from the following folder: \PTC\Creo 3.0\M040\Common Files\text. If we open config.pro inside this folder, we see in last line: search_path_file $CREO_COMMON_FILES\afx\parts\prolibrary\search.pro   If we open this search.pro, we see paths to the screws, bolts, washers..., that are stored in folder: \PTC\Creo 3.0\M040\Common File\afx\parts\prolibrary\.   But when we use screws with Intelligent Fastener tool, we see that screws are opened from folder: \PTC\Creo 3.0\M040\Common Files\afx\parts\screws_and_pins.   So the search path file is not used. So this means that, when we save assembly with screws from IF tool, every screw is saved in Working directory, and is not read from afx library.   So, what is the point of this search path file, if it is not used when using IF tool? Of course we can make use of this search path, but only if we open screws manually from folder: \PTC\Creo 3.0\M040\Commo

Hi!I can't route wires in 3D jet (see my other discussions), but I can route cables. So now I'm trying to get it work properly. I've tried to route a multilevel cable (I've used the one from the sample catalog, for a test), and Creo can't display the outer insulation, of it. As shown on picture, it cant find routing points, but it doesn't allow me to define routing points either. We've got problems creating a custom table style for the DITA-element <table>.
