Hey folks,Our company upgraded from Wildfire 5 to Creo 2, since then I've had a nagging issue with the "decal" functionality.I want to overlay an image (.bmp or .png) onto a surface of a model. The image contains text, graphics, etc. It needs to look aesthetically correct. The way I always do it is by the Decal tool in Appearance Editor (without touching bump/color texture). When I do this in Wildfire it looks how I expect: the colors match the original image. But if I follow the exact same procedure in Creo the results are different: the colors look significantly more dull than the original image. Any white graphics become gray, everything is a shade darker. I've tried this a hundred different ways with different images and different models on different computers to the same result.I've resolved that it has nothing to do with the "color properties" (as in intensity, ambient, highlight, transparency), because these have no effect on the tint of the image, just the color behind it. Hi Community,in one of our current projects we need to download all visualizations available in Windchill. As we noticed visualizations in windchill are not connected to the filevault via database tables.How can we get to all the visualizations available in windchill? They may be available in the file vaults, since there are a lot of files in file vaults, not available in epm document file tables, but where can i get the real file names?RegardsStefan

Changing this option works fine in Wireframe, No Hidden line, and Hidden line modes. But the tangent edges always appear as solid lines in the Shaded with edges mode, which is the mode I'm working in. Can anyone help?

We have Winchill 10.2 and love the functionality for CAD data but we're working on documenting and implementing our Q/A manual, SOPs etc. I am tasked with document control and would like to enjoy/apply the WC CAD data control to our non CAD documents, such as check in/check out, permissions, rev control and archive. Is WC a good solution for document management or would SharePoint be better or?

Hi Gang,I wrote a macro for giving the ICN numbers in the illustrations. It will ask the user some specific inputs. There is a place where it will ask for the starting and ending value numbers. User would give the starting number as 00001 and ending as 0010 (for example). After running the macro when we see the file name and the ICN number in the file, zeroes in front of the value are ignored and it is displayed as 1 and 10. Why Isodraw ignores the zeroes?.

Hello!I'm doing an electrical engineering calculation in Prime 3.0 which amongst other parameters involves a timespan.This timespan is rather lengthly (tens of hours), so having input using flat SI second is really a mess.So currently I have to use an intermediate engineering calculator to convert stopwatch readout to hours.Is there a way to have Mathcad Prime to accept human style timespan expressed in HH:MM:SS?Thank you.

Is there a way to brute force my way through these folders? I want them removed, I never use them.(except for working directory)

We are still very new with Arbortext and converting for a bad MS Word culture. We have coverted a document fully into Arbortext and now an SME want a word copy so he can do Russian translation. We don't want to do that and are wondering what to give him to markup with the least amount of learning curve for him without us need to reconvert something on return. We are way to early for SIM. Does anyone have ideas or can you share what you do?

Creo2 M080 I’d like to change the default skeleton model color, or more accurately, the transparency. The default blue is OK, but making it 75% transparent seems to help in working with it. I’ve found the option “skeleton_model_default_color” but as documented it only seems to be able to change the color, not the transparency. Any way to change the skeleton model’s transparency?

Hey there...  This may be obvious, and I am missing it, but....How do you delete a newly created global attribute after you add it to a type?I created a global attribute and added it to the Part type.Decided the attribute should have been a string instead of an integer, and with no way to redefine that, want to delete the attribute from the type.Found the new attribute, selected it, and clicked the Delete icon.Got an error message about the attribute being used in 8 layouts.Can't seem to figure out how to remove the attribute from the layouts.

Hello,I have stumbled across a random symbol that had appeared next to the "stop light" and I am unable to find anyone who knows what it is and I'm hoping someone on here can help. When I opened my model today a yellow circle with "TBD" in it popped up next to my stop light. The strange part is I have a a green light so it doesn't appear that there are any failed parts or features. Does anyone know what this is and how I get rid of it?
