Hi, I am trying to get a rev block to update in my drawing formats. sheet one of the format has a place for a drawing rev and description to be called out. each consecutive sheet has a place to reference the latest drawing rev. below is an example. first image is the block on sheet one the second is the block on sheet 2what I want is the rev on sheet 2 to update to the latest rev on sheet 1. so if sheet 1 is at rev 1 so is sheet 2, if sheet 1 ist at rev 3, so is sheet 3 ect.i figured this could be done with a relation something likerev_sht2 = rev3if rev3 = 0 rev_sht2 = rev2else if rev2 = 0 rev_sht2 = rev1endifobviously that won't work like that, but I am not sure how to make it do what I want.thanks for the helpThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello,I've been using some Sweeps and Helical Sweeps features and the message error is the same. It appears when I try to edit the Sweep Section and the systems doesn't allow me to edit it, because of the message error "All the entities must be tangent."Now, I solved that problem adding fillets to the trajectories (check the image) and creating the "tangent entities". After that the system allows me (in this case) edit the Sweep Section.However, my question isIs this the only way to do that? Am I doing something wrong? Hello there,I have been trying to simulate material removal for mill/turn toolpaths in vericut. The workcell is Mill-turn 5 axis (see attached file).The tool orientation is right while reviewing toolpath on Creo. Hoever it is chaging in Vericut. Does anyone know if this if gitHub is available through Arbortext or Windchill?Our team works in varying versions of Arbortext Editor SGML environment. We use Windchill as a repository as well. But I'd like to use the same functionality that an environment like "gitHub" offers. A collaborative environment.Thank you

Hi Experts,I am trying to install windchill on oracle server 12c. But the installation fails giving "Connection to the database failed or OCU failed to execute the query". I am using monolithic architecture  ie all on one system(Windchill and database server). I am not able to resolve this issue. Hello,before 6 months we started Windchill 10.2 implemetation. After some time l have some basic problems with parts numbering. Will describe my situation and problems.Present situation:- before Windchill we had use following file name schema:- each part and assembly includes "extract" function in relation ---> project number and drawing number is included in file name- 00_00_00 ---> is some logical "model tree" schema ---> example: subassy 01_01_00  includes parts 01_01_01, 01_01_02 ...- in praxis it means:    assembly moved in model tree ---> rename parts and drawings- l want keep this logic inside WindchillProblem:- during first stage of planing we are changing product structure (model tree) quite often- Windchill is quite sensitive to rename from the reason of "Drawing  - 15009_v01-05_02_05_00.drw is not unique."- SAVE AS copies does same problem sometimesMy ideas and solution:- Do l need model number? ---> NO, because all informations are in

I am trying to use an Excel component to look up values for MathCAD calculations. I have been unable to get any sort of momentum, because MathCAD keeps returning the error "The range value specified is invalid." whenever I try to include an output variable. From two variables, exposure category and height, I want to look up a value for kz using the table. I am using MathCAD 15.0, and Excel 2013. MathCAD Help is no use, because that error message isn't even listed as a potential error message.

OK, I successfully imported .csv file into Mathcad Prime using READCSV. My .csv file contains a table, one column are dates and another are numbers, there also a spurious empty columns.I have no idea how to deal with dates, but my primary interest is second column with numbers.But problem is, Prime interprets the whole csv table as matrix of string values, despite of numbers on second column are well-formed.I tried str2num function, but it refuses to do the job, probably due non-scalar input. How do I pre-process this column to finally start my real calculations?As a bound, could anyone please advise on dates in the following format: "2010-06-26",...Thank you.

Hello everyone.. experts and enthusiasts,Ok, so I'm creating a new menu and adding a new functionality in my Arbortext Editor, however, before I execute my tasks, some other stuff needs to be executed, specifically one other task, which belongs to another option provided in a different menu, what I'm trying to do is, to call that specific option since my acl script; does anybody knows if there is a way to achieve this? There's an available acl command to have access to the other feature? the reason why I'm not calling directly another script is because I don't have control of the other functionality, it was made by another team and I don't have direct access to their code or scripts.As always I appreciate so much your time and support.Paulette Zorrilla

ENABLE_MOLD_EXTRACT_COLORING noTurns off the extra surface creation all over the splits, at least it did until now. It seem like in a more recent build of CREO2 they have turned on something that now creates the surfaces but keeps the same color.Does anyone know how to turn off this extra surface creation?Thanks!

I am wondering if it is possible to export a document via a trigger, but I would like to be able to select a template item from the Gateway Export Wizard.Additionally, I would then like to be able to take the exported document and send via e-mail attachment in the trigger.Does anybody know if this is doable?
