HiI am developing a automated program for spring design using Pro E Trail fileand Excel Macros. So in order to understand the trail file codes,i record them then open it withnotepad and will understand the scriptsby my self. Has anybody of you ever used an Excel analysis feature before?I was thinking on using this for a calculation that I need to calculate a position.Because it involves an iteration and because it is a very complex calculation, I think it is not possible to do this from within Creo.Upon opening the setup screen of the excel analysis feature, I noticed this is very basic.As far as I can see, it seems not possible to add feature parameters?I really need these parameters to create my excel analysis feature.Also, it seems it is not possible to add boolean parameters?(this would be easily solved by adding integer parameters and link them with a relation...)Does anybody know if it is possible to add feature parameters?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. How can I hide model sketch lines in an assembly and drawing? Hiding the sketch in the model temporarily solves the problem in the drawing. Hi,I am using Wildfire 4 and trying to create an assembly which is made of shells and beams. I am having trouble getting the two parts to attach. Do I need to specify a connection (such as a Rigid Link) between 2 points on the respective parts?When creating models with shells I have been able to align the components so the geometry automatically joins together but this approach does not seem to be working. I've searched all over looking for people with similar problems but can't seem to find anything, if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. I'm looking for older versions of the software matrices for Windchill PDMLink and unable to find them. For example - 10.1 F000, 10.1 M010, 10.1 M020.I have seen them before but cant find them now. What am I missing?Thanks,Madhavi

Attached is a short worksheet created in both Mathcad 15 and Prime 3.1. The graph at the end of the worksheet works in 15 but not Prime 3.1. I've attempted to make them the same but there is an error in the 3.1 program. Might folks know what is the error in the Prime 3.1 program?

Hello,   Is it possible to make strong dimensions be locked by default? If i type in a value for a dimension it is because I want the dimension to be exactly that unless I change it. I don't want it to change because I drag the model. Hey there. I have one problem with my creo parametric 2.0 and have sent some requests to ptc academic support. Since no one there is responding, I guess there must be some people in the community who would like to help me out ^^I was doing my homework and have to use Creo Parametric 2.0. When I opened it, there was a warning window and said that "License request failed for feature"got a nice pic hereseems like my license has expired. It was a license for student and last for one year i guess.So, can I extend my license somewhere or what can i do so that i could go on doing with my homework?Thanks a lot and have a nice day!

HelloI have a drawing-file with one or more Views and want to receive dimensions together with the information to which (drawing) view they belong to.I am using TK/OTK:With ProDrawingViewsCollect(mdl, viewList) I can get all the views from my drawing.With ProDrawingDimensionVisit()/ProDrawingSolidsVisit I can get all the dimensions from my drawing (but without the information to which view they belong to).So I was tryingProDimensionLocationGet(dimension[i], viewList[j], NULL, dimLocation); but I get the error:PRO_TK_NOT_VALIDA drawing view was passed with a drawing.does ViewsCollect deliever something else then a single view? HI Team,              As per my requirement I have created new menus and sub menus on menu bar of ArborText editor, The actual requirement of mine is  when I click on new menu then it should check the words presented on editor window with the data coming from some service  , if the words are not matching then the non matching words should be colored(red). Hi,does anybody know if it is possible to define e.g. another colour for Processing instructions? Our customer use processing instructions, and sometimes users accidentely delete this pi's. Therefore we would like to define the pi's with red colour.Unfortunately we did not found anything in the Arbortext Styler to do this. Hi Guys,   is there a way you can set part during modelling or when assembling so it doesn't show on BOM when generated in drawing? I mean I have plenty of parts which are not good in BOM and I have to filter them out one by one. For example air cylinder is made of mounting bracket, main body and slider. On BOM I only need assembly name and bracket.
