I have a part that merges into another part.The original part has projected curves which will be stamping.  I have saved the view status so it only shows these curves on my Solid Model.When I merge this model into another part model it brings in not only the curves that I do need, but also several sketches that were used in the original model file.  SEE ATTACHED and note the light and dark blue curves that are on a flat plane.If you can't get rid of the original sketch curves by doing a Save Status in the original model how do you get rid of these?When I go back to the original part model I only see the curves that I want to see, not the curves from the originating sketches.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Making some progress... that book I bought can't come soon enough.  But one more for this week...In the attached worksheet, I've attempted to do a repeated calculation without resorting to a program in which I want the limits of integration to come from a vector.  This is just the first thing I thought of, there could very well be a better way.  My list of wavelengths in this case is generated by calculation but in the real world each one could be arbitrary and be entered manually.But I'm getting the "A name is required here" message which doesn't (yet) mean much to me.  Further, the expression seems to only evaluate one value rather than create a long list of calculated values.  I'm actually a bit surprised that it calculates anything at all given that there is an error right before it.I was hoping someone here could explain to me what is going on.

Hi All,How do I reset these!?!I created custom \codebase\wtcore\images\bblks\l_ptc_splash.gif and \codebase\netmarkets\images\22A_windchill_logo_x20.png files and replaced the OOTB ones.Now, I've copied the OOTB ones back and they are not showing, e.g. my custom ones show inthe web browser even though the files are changed.I have; 1. deleted the \instances 2. restarted everything 3. Cleared webbrowser cacheIt must be caching these somewhere I'm missing. Any idea?Thanks!-V

Starting to feel a bit moronic here.I've included a short worksheet illustrating my problem.  I'm trying to graduate from simple calculation to using vectors.  As you will see, I have an equation for M for which I can calculate a value easily enough.  Units work out OK too.When I attempt to make a vector (in my world, this lambda equates to a wavelength but that's irrelevant to the problem), I get an error complaining of the units.Not really sure if that's really the issue here; can anybody else shed some light?

In Mathcad prime 3.1 I don't seem to be able to show the borders around an equation. This was very simple in the old Mathcad 15. I tried to follow the instructions on the user guide (select region, right click and choose Properties) but I just don't get the right menu. What am I not seeing?Thanks

Hi all,I use AE6.0, it's strange that sometime I publish PDF document using stylesheet, the PDF bookmark is not correct that I want.In Styler, select the "Table Of Contents" tab, select the check box for "Use for PDF bookmarks"(only one of the TOC definitions with the checkbox checked, and I also select the level).But the problem is that, I don't know why there is toc, tables, and toc(index) node. I want delete the node in the red box, but I don't which made it Could you give me any tips please? Hi all,I use AE6.0, it's strange that sometime I publish PDF document, the PDF bookmark is not correct that I want, but I don't know how to control it.For example: why appear toc,tables, and toc.... Can I control it in the Arbortext Styler? Or other place? ( I delete the Table of Contents,but the bookmark is not changed...) But when I publish Web format, it seems all are right.the PDF bookmark (strange)the Web Navigation（right）， the question is : can I control the bookmark while publish the PDF? I'm attempting to create a custom hole file but I can't get it to show up as an option when creating a hole.  All I did was copy-paste the UNC hole table from \Common Files\text\hole into the same folder and make my changes.  I also tried useing the config.pro option to point the hole_parameter_file_path to the correct folder and have restarted Creo but no luck.  Am I missing something?  The tutorials I have seen only show the first step as necessary.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Does anyone know what the difference is between the production and non-production environment in the Windchill 10.2 installer? It's on the same screen as whether you want to configure to send data to PTC.Thanks,Mary-Ann

I'm a MathCAD new user and am confused by what I'm seeing.  In the attached example, I've created a range variable and used it in a calculation.  The result, B, is shown and is apparently NOT a vector.To the right, I've done the same thing except that the range variable on goes from 0 to 8.  In this case the result, D, IS a vector.  If I change the value of j to 9, the result changes in appearance and is no longer a vector.I don't understand what's going on here which is, naturally, impairing my ability to solve a real problem.  I seem to be confused as to what constitutes a vector.

I recently got thrown into XML tagging for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals. We are required to use a certain DTD and FOSI that I downloaded online but I am not sure how to properly install it into arbortext. The way that I tried immediately threw up flags telling me context rules had been turned off. Can someone please help me. I am a Noob

Good morning, I am working on a part that has a back angle that I am trying to machine with a .062" radius keyway cutter. I collected the surfaces but ProMan wont allow to use a key cutter for a surface sequence. I tried using profile but no luck. The feature I am trying to machine is the orange surface. Only other option is I am thinking to use is create individual curves at each .01" depth and do it the hard and manual way. Hi Experts,I am finding it difficult to configure bursting files. Any change made to the .bcf are not reflected the CMS. I am trying to burst my bookmap document into chapters when they are stored in Windchill, but I am not able to do so.Please help me understand how this burst configuration concept works.I have created a new bursting folder and added it to the system variable as APTOBJCFG.I am uploading the .bcf files I am using.
