I have a set of data that has appx 27,000 lines. The data is in excel. I can plot the data from tables but is it possible to animate the data starting from the beginning of the data? The data mimics a hysteresis graph and plots nicely. I would like to animate the data.

When I try to run the tm createresult to add a test result via the API, I try to use the addAttachment command to add a file with the test result. The documentation for 10.5 says:   --addAttachment=value adds attachments, where value is of the form "field=fieldName,path=pathToFile[,name=nameOfAttachment][,summary=shortDescription] " . Note: The "pathToFile" must include the path and filename. The "nameOfAttachment" is optional, and gives the attachment a different name than the name of the file specified in "pathToFile". For example, addAttachment="field=Attachments,path=c:/temp/notes.txt,name=notes123.txt,summary="Notes for issue 123""   When I try to do this, I get an error that says "Could not create test result: Error adding attachment" The specified key is invalid: field". How is this invalid? Isn't this exactly what to documentation says to use?     If I remove "field=Attachments" completely then i get another error. This one says "   Could not create tes

Hello All,I am setting up this gear differential for a class using bevel gears. I can get it to run properly, however if you look at this picture the gear on the right side and the bottom gear are colliding. How do I overcome this. This is a manufacture model and I have been using the helix and pressure angles listed by the manufacturer as well as the pitch listed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The attached Mathcad 15 worksheet (hopefully more folks can open this instead of Prime 3.1 format) is being created to determine the shear, moment, slope, and deflection of a simply supported beam. Towards the end of the worksheet I am attempting to create a vector that includes the point loads (y), distributed load start points (zs), and distributed load end points (ze). Is it possible to write a function that creates a vector with a total length of the sum of these smaller vectors and sorts the values by increasing length? The points in this vector give the points where the moment function is discontinuous .The total length of the vector will change as the number of point loads and distributed loads change. Once this vector is created I'd like to use it as integral bounds to determine the centroid of the moment function between discontinuous points. Is it possible to set the vector and the vector +1 as integral bounds?As always, thank you for your help.

I‌n the tool setup there is a place to create a BOM for a tool. Is it possible to get this information out to a table on a setup drawing? I did the program correctly.But, when I try to plot i(n) versus vk. I am gettting error as "All evaluations result in error or a complex result".can anyone help me.Thank you.

I need to evaluate "stress range", i.e. max principal stress minus min principal stress, for fatigue evaluation. This is very tedious work if you need to compare several load directions (in my case a rotating load, typically defined in 12 directions: 30 degree pitch). Let's say the max prin occurs for a specific load direction for a specific location in the model. I basically need to look at all other load sets for that point, to find the minimum principal stress, to find out what the stress range is.Does anyone know of any technique to do this in a more convenient way? I suspect it should be possible to request ASCII-output results for different load sets, and write some script to go through the entire model node by node, but that would require some programming. Has anyone done this?Any other suggestion?/Mats Lindqvist/

Hallo! I would like to configure Work Agent in Winch Chill 10,2. I have found pdf document "Guide to Product View Publishing" for Pro-E Wildfire 4,0.I work with Creo Parametric 2,0 M110 and Guide does not fit. Can any one help my with that configuration? I´m struggling with declaring variables for quiet some tiem. Someone showed me some months ago how to declare a variable and give a value to it and what I can remeber it has to do with notebook and layout. Unfortunately I can´t remember anything else and can´t figure it out.What I intend to do is create a name which a value will be given. And this name I can use it in my part in the relations for example "mass=variable*5" And the "variable" should have been created somewhere and somehow with a given value.I know that when I go to my part I need to go to "declare variable" and then in Notebook select the layout... Hello again,i'm stuck with the following definitite integral:As you can see, the function is quadratic in x, but Mathcad Prime isn't able to evaluate the indefinite integral as ist seems. Hello,i have a sheet with at this time five pages (thats the beginning...). There are two Pictures on page 1. Since i have calculated two very complex vectors from IR^3 (at page 5), the regions in the whole sheet move without any action. This is very, very annoying. Hello everyone. I'm new to using Parametric. I randomly start having issues. I was annotating my drawing. So I would right click a view where I want the annotation and than I would click Show Model Annotations. So when I was doing the for several minutes I could access all the annotations. However, now when I do it I don't see any annotation. The message is displayed that I should select a view to show the annotations. Open the Change Request list of attributes in the Type and Attribute Managemnt utility, then Action Edit and select the star to add a new attribute.When I enter the information, then Finish, I get this error message:ATTENTION:An attribute of type "java.lang.String" cannot be created because no database colums of that type are available. Hi,   So I have installed Creo Parametric 2.0 onto my home laptop and it works well, however whenever I try to change the configuration files to match my university settings an error message appears when I open Creo asking to "register the Quality Agent in order to continue running creo parametric..."   I can't seem to fix this problem - have uninstalled and reinstalled creo many times and have also deleted the quality agent and tried to repair the file..   I would be so grateful if someone would be able to help   Thank you   PriyaThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I need instruction on setting up default configurations. I am having to change settings every time I start a new sheet metal part or drawing. We have only two seats for now and no administrator with PTC Creo experience. We have had very limited success getting help from PTC.I need complete instruction in the form of a book or documents that walk me through it as if I'm stupid. Specifically I need to do things like set scale to more decimal places then the dimensions, or just change the default number of decimals, have scale display differently then the dimensions, change the default text size and use windows fonts, change the K-factor and default bend radius etc. The list goes on. Part of the problem is that we use Microstation primarily, and adopted PTC Creo for a specific project because our customer uses Creo and Microstation couldn't handle the large models that will be needed for the job. Hello, I am currently using Creo Parametric, but have honestly fought with this since WF3.   I developed a format that I like to use when creating drawings. It has a repeat region for the BOM, a rev box, etc. Well, lets say I create a drawing, but i want to go back and change something on the frm file. How do I get it to update in the drw??   Since this is a small part of my job that i do every now and then, in the past I have just made a "new" drawing, and transferred everything over.. But that is getting really old.   I have tried update draft, update sheets, etc.   In particular my current problem is my "Revision log" box is a static table 3 wide, 5 high. Rev 0 was just "original issue". Now I am doing rev1, and the comments have to take 3 lines. So in the drw if I do it, comment spans the next 3 lines. If I set the row height to automatic, it resizes the row properly, until i hit ok and the dialog box closes, then I suspect the frm details take over and I have m

We just recently updated to Creo 2.0 M100 from M070 and ran into one problem. When you try an run the parametric.exe in the bin directory nothing happens. Same for simulate.exe and creosysmon.exe. Unless I'm mistaken, running the executable should give you the option of choosing all the psf files that you had created when installing the software. I believe that for each psf file it also creates a batch file that runs the executable with the psf and skips the list. Running those batch files directly do work.   I've been working with PTC on this and the only solution they gave me was uninstall everything and start fresh. Since this is a server install with multiple users running Creo from it, that is not a convenient way of troubleshooting this.   Has anyone else run into this issue?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
