Hello everyone, I am working on a solid model here and i want a 3D print of it and the printer requires .stl file format, the problem is my solid model which is a .prt file is not saving as .stl file format. there is no option available in 'save as' drop down menu where i can select the file to be saved as .stl file format. My .prt file is a complete solid not a surface. Anyone here knows where is the problem? i have attached the file i want to convertI am using CREO Parametric 1.0.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. To all,I am looking for some help related to generating a report that will show me the current unapproved promotion requests by "Name", which is our PCO number, and will give me the ones that are still awaiting approval. I see in the report editor under attributes there is a "Awaiting Approval" selection, but I have no clue how to get it into the report. I would appreciate any help any query builder gurus out there could provide.Thanks in advance!Buddy Hudson

I have a user that needs to connect workgroup manager to AutoCAD Mech. and also AutoCAD Elect. Currently he registers to one application and then changes to the other each time he uses the applications. Is there a better way to connect Workgroup manager to two CAD applications?I was hoping maybe I could use a batch file so I could create two different startup options or something like that.

In draw mode, I like to work with a black background and the crosshairs are currently red. Where or how do I change the color to white? I installed PTC 10.5 on the server it went fine. but the problem is project are not showing up in Integrity Client although I am able to see projects in Integrity Manager.Any suggesstion.

Recently I've converted some my Mathcad 14 worksheets for use in Prime 3.1 using PTC's converter. The converter seems to work well be leaves lots of red arrows and red margin marks. How can this marks be removed from the final sheet? I can't seem to click on them.

Hi,I would like t know if there is still a way to create a bom manually by using a Product Structure Explorer in Windchill version 10.2 ?Is there a way to feed this with info comming from Excel ? This I am asking because we will abandon the OSD drafting and for the rarely new 2D drawings we would create the bom manually.Regards,Bernard

Hi there,I'm an experienced user of Mathcad and use Mathcad 15.0 (M010 [MC15_M010_20110622])I encounter many bugs. Here is one.Atached is a program concerning calculations on gears. Nothing complex, but with many variables, just following the norm. On many of the variables I need two or more [=rows(z)] values. In this case two. Use index j for that and ORIGIN=1.In the course of the program several variables with index j are calculated. Some go wrong and show a complex answer; I corrected the values adding an extra formula row for index =1. These, in fact unnecessary lines, are marked with an A in front of the line. You can test by deleting an A marked line.The program produces a matrix of 2 * 24. The columns are defined at the last row of the program.Can you advise me on this one?

Curious if anyone has the back story on why there is a Creo View M031 being released? I haven't seen any dire warning about M030.On the other hand, maybe it's a typo since M031 isn't listed on the downloads page.

When I try to output a text field from a Test Result Related Item that contains rich content to an HTML report, all of the < and > are replaced by < and >. This happens with some other characters also. How do you get it to preserve the HTML instead of doing this conversion? Below is where I am trying to use it. Basically I'm trying to output all ALM_Defect items from a test session. I have added two custom Test Result fields to the type. They are "Execution Date" and "Execution Modified Date". How do I set the value of these fields via the API? I have tried just adding an option for each item. cmd.AddOption("Execution Date", value) and cmd.AddOption("Execution Modified Date", value). The results upload without these two values. I am not sure if the command is wrong or if I am just using a format different than what Integrity is expecting. Has anyone done this before?

I was trying to do some basic calculations for the cooling cycle. Multiplication/addition/division/etc. with some variables I set. Turned off computer and when I went back to continue I get this error:The file type is not supported. Log file is located at: c:\ProgramData\PTC\Mathcad Prime\Logs\Mathcad Prime_Exception_20150407_164625.logI was wondering if there is any way to get back at the file without having to start over from the beginning. Attached is the mathcad file I was attempting to open and the Log file referenced in the error.

Hi all,I'm having great trouble trying to thicken what seems like a very simple, smooth surface, with no undercuts in Parametric 2.0. A question for the interchange assembly gurus…Sometimes our customers will request LED lights instead of the default incandescent on our trailers. To facilitate this, we have a Component Interface in both the LED light and the original to speed up assembly – both models simply assemble to a coordinate system origin in the mounting grommet. I thought it would be nice to further speed this up by relating the two models with an Interchange Assembly. It’s been years since I’ve used these, so I’m hoping you all can help me figure out what I’m doing wrong.I added the two lights to my interchange assembly and added a reference tag for the coordinate system origins. So far, so good. When I went to swap out the light in the trailer, I got the following error message:“Component Interface missing, continuing placement will cause interface to be removed. Yes/No”So I choose yes, then the component assembly dashboard pops up, and it says fully constrained, so all I have to do is MMB and it completes

Hello,i use Mathcad Prime 3.1, 64bit Version under MS Windows 8.1 Pro x64. In a bigger worksheet (ca. 20 pages) the following definition leads to an error as shown in the attached Picture: If i copy this definition in a new file, it works properly.If i delete the definition and copy it back from the other sheet, Mathcad Prime crashes and shut down (very slowly).What may be the reason for such an error?Many thanks for any answer.Kindly regards, J. Hello All, Another question. I have setup two bevel gears I can get them to run, and also in the right direction. However I cannot get them to go at the same speed without applying a servo motor to both gears. Is there some way around this to only apply one servo motor, or are two servos a must?
