Has anyone set this up before. I set it up in the check files as an error, but can not figure out how to get this added to the start files. Any suggestions? I wonder if anyone can refresh my memory. I can't find the answers using my friend Google, but I'm sure they have been answered before:We are using WF4, by the way. 1. Why does a part regenerate twice when I hit regenerate? I know I should know the answer, but I forget... It's not usually noticeable, but I have a part with lots of text and a warp feature, so the regen process happens in slow motion.2. When I import a sketch into sketcher, how does Pro/E decide what the default scale value should be? It seems to be a different, apprently random, number less than 1 every time. (supplementary Q: Is there a way to set the default?)3. When I import a sketch into sketcher, why does it appear to 'snap' into positions as I drag it around? Where are these positions and how are they defined? For example, I dragged one in and dropped it on a 'snap' point and it added a grey dimension of 15.632456. Hello,I´m new with "Sheets" ("blech" in german). I have been trying two whole days to make a sheet with cuts that can be rolled into an octagon, like origami. I have tried with Flach. Also using a lot the tools Profil Planar and Abwickeln (my Creo is in german), but at last I can´t permorm it. Have someone an idea how could I do what the picture shows?It would be nice that it can be folded and unfolded. Thanks a lot.

Dear community.The company I work for hired a design firm to come up with some new design all our machines should follow. The problem is they came up with a design, we cannot make in a reasonable way in Creo.The final product should look something like this:The problem is, there's no option in fill pattern to do a slanted pattern. The best way we have found to create the pattern is to make an oversized sketch pattern like so:We then make an extrude, where we project the sketches, that fit within the area we need the pattern like so:The problem we're facing is, that for every project you make in one feature, the slower the machine works.It doesn't take long before the machine becomes completely unstable and crashes.I hope you understand my problem, and that someone has a better way of doing this? I have an anchor bolt that I want to show going through a foundation tube. The foundation tube is a shrinkwrap geometry shown for illustration purposes. My collegues are able to show this on thier drawings, but I can't seem to figure out just how they did it. Any ideas? Greetings all.   I have a situation where a series of parts and assemblies were designed and given individual part numbers and their own drawings. These subparts and subassemblies then go into a purchased part and are listed on a chart on the purchased part drawing. The issue is that we now want to combine all these parts and subassemblies drawings onto one purchase part drawing. Short of opening the purchase part drawing, adding the required sheets and redrawing every part and subassembly, does anyone know a way to combine these separate drawings into one large drawing?   I appreciate any assistance with this matter. Hy my name is Daniel and i have tried severel times to install creo 2. The thing is when i'm trying to install it without our school-addon it works but when I'm trying to install the addon too there is always the error code 0x00000013.Does anyone have any clue about this code?? Hi all,I want link two plates with a hole with a preloaded bolt.With the fastener feature you have to do two analysis to have the right value of preload (axial_force).(this thing should change in Creo 3 with only one run)The two plates are not bonded, but in contact with a contact region, and there is a measure of force on that region that, at the end of the second run, it gives the value of force equal at the preload value.This does not happen if I model the bolt with solid elements and I use the new creo feature "preload".I've done in this manner:- two plates with contact region- screw and nut solids and bonded toghether- one contact region between the head of screw and the 1st plate- one contact region between the nut and the 2st plate- a volume region on the stem of screw where you applies the preloadThe force that the two plates are exchanged is lower that the preload and it changes if you increase the volume region on the stem.Where I am wrong?Which is the correct procedure?Regar

Hi Guys,When I click one of my 'report' in Windchill Project-Link, I got a warning: table size limited reached. There only have 500 objects shown in the table. Hi all, I am a new user to Mathcad and I have came up against a very tough problem. In the attachment (and image below) there is a table that looks up a value of Cy for a given K and M simple. The problem comes when the values for K and M are not a whole numbers for example - K=32 and M=0.23 then the value for Cy is in the range of 1.63 - 2.3. You need to interpolate between the four figures. Cy will actually equal - 1.7348I am looking to produce a Mathcad function that would allow me to look up any value of K and M. Hello, everyone!I would like to get a flat pattern of a part, which was created using a Swept Blend in the Sheetmetal Module of Creo Parametric.This Swept Blend consist of two sections. Each of them has the same quantity of segments. I used a Convert Tool to add bends on sharp edges to round sharp edges.But when I was trying to create a flat pattern of this part, Creo displayed a warning message that there is no geometry to unbend. PTC has very limited documentation around ClearCase Integration with PTC Integrity. Anyone here has done integration with Rational ClearCase?Question - Per instructions, created Change Package Type and Attributes in Integrity, but everytime I create Change Package its created with default Change Package Type "MKS Source" provided in out of box Solution (Integrity).I could not find the way, I can change CP Type default to "ClearCase" given in integration manual.ThanksAdhik

Hello,I'm trying to 3D plot a solid defined by the X,Z coordinates and a constant for the width (Y). I am using the surface type to create a filled surface for each side of the shape. I am able to create most of the surfaces, but cannot figure out how to "fill in" the front and back faces.I have been searching the forums and have found examples of this, but none have shown a surface with more than four points, which I believe may be an limiting factor. I have tried numerous methods of how to arrange the matrix, but my understanding of the matrix structure required for the surface plot is limited.Please see attached worksheet.Thanks!
