How can I prevent a user from viewing an issue based on Assigned Group? I am using Integrity 2009 SP5. Say I have 3 groups, Group_1, Group_2 and Group_3.Group_1 has 2 users: User_1a and User_1b.Group_2 has 2 users: User_2a and User_2b.Group_3 has 2 users: User_3a and User_3b. An admin user creates an issue and that issue is assigned to Group_1. Which means User_1a and User_1b would have the ability to view that issue. How can I prevent User_2a, User_2b, User_3a and User_3b from viewing this issue? I was trying to use the AbortSubmit.js script, but my rule is not working. It's probably something simple, but I can't pinpoint it at the moment.Thank you,

Hello Everyone, I have a problem about override dimension in drawing eventhough I've use "@O" in dimesion properties in Pro-E WF 5.0 and the option OVERRIDE hidden state in dimension properties. Hi All,Just finished installing Creo 3.When working on a drawing containing views of an assembly I am now unable to get any on the centre lines to show up.Normally I would highlight the view, select 'Model Annotations' and one of the tabs would show me what centre lines where available to use.Now all I get is a message saying I cant show them??Is this a con-fig setting that I have wrong?? I have cad data from a vendor of a styled part built from curves and surfaces and then solidified. While working on the bring the files into our system, the drawings are showing all of the construction curves and surfaces (the yellow and purple lines below). Previously, when the quantity was low, I would go into the model and hide the curves an surfaces, save the model and save the view status. There is probably a much easier way of doing this. Could someone enlighten me? Thanks, Dale

I am trying to open a work space that I have been using for some very large files. I am almost done with my project but I needed to check out another assembly. When I go to my workspace to rev and check out the files I need, I get a running script error. Has this happened to anyone else? Does any one know a correction for it? or perhaps preventative? I've been working more on this shroud (http://communities.ptc.com/thread/56128) and now I'm trying to figure out how to control the boundary conditions of a style surface.The boundary conditions at my edges where I have control curves are good (i.e. they are curvature continuous and normal to the plane, but in between control curves the surface does not keep that condition.This becomes obvious when I thicken the surface with a normal offset. If the surface were normal, the part of the edge would be coincident with the horizontal red line (surface edge). All of my edged except for those on the inner circle have edge control arrows. Why don't the arcs?

Running Pro/I 3.4 m062 on Windows 7. Everything works great for most users, we've had a couple that start experiencing a 10 minute time-out on Pro/I. Pro/E continues to run attached to whatever workspace fine. As long as a Workspace refresh or any Workspace or Commonspace activities are performed within the 10 minute time period, everything is great and you get another 10 minutes. As soon as 9 minutes and 59 seconds pass and there has been no Pro/I activity the application will close when accessed. Very weird behavior, don't see anything in the event viewer to help debug the problem. Any help is appreciated. The only fix has been to reinstall OP system and all applications. Thanks, Kenny Mc

Hi guys,I want to calculate spectral moments of a wave spectrum (of ocean waves). This involves the use of the transcendental equation to obtain the wave number k by iteration. I have calculated k for a limited set of wave frequencies, see sheet. However, I would now like to sum these wave numbers, but I am unable to do this. Can anybody help?I am new to Mathcad so maby Im just being stupid here.

Hi all, is it possible to define the curve shape shown in the attached image by equation only? I know this can be done using surfaces & trapar, then just coping the resultant edge, but i was just trying to simplify my approach. (its the star shape i am after).RegardsJohn

Hello, Everytime I try to add an image. It fails to load the image. Is there any resolution/memory restrictions im not aware off? Hi Everyone,   I am using Windchill PDMLink 9.1 and Product View Lite 9.1. I am unable to open certain PDF documents, CreoView opens up but, does not start up the acrobat.   * - Note that only happens for some documents (documents that do open and do not open are in the same project, folder, same security settings, same everything even sometimes created on the same day).   * - If I download the document on stead fo trying to use creoview it opens up just fine in adobe acrobat.     does anyone have any ideas?   thanks in advance.   Paulo.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi, I'm trying to set parameter value of assembly via J-link class. We are using Wildfire 5.1. I'm trying to set value of parameter PRO_MP_ALT_AREA under Alternate Mass Properties. Session session = pfcGlobal.GetProESession ();Model model = session.GetCurrentModel();Parameter param = model.GetParam("PRO_MP_ALT_AREA");double myValue = 1.0; param.SetValue(pfcModelItem.CreateDoubleParamValue(myValue));But all I get is XBadGetParamValue Exception. (not be confused with it’s name, this Exception is thrown from set method too) It seems that ParamValueType is PARAM_NOT_SET (Unknown in table below) and that causes the problem. But how can i change it to PARAM_DOUBLE??? I’ve found no set method in API. What am I doing wrong? Any help will be appreciated.

Hi again,Im wondering how, if possible, I can hide or display certain features in different views of the same drawing. For example, in the image I uploaded, I have two coordinate systems, and I want to display only the Blockup csys in Top view 1 and only the OP1 csys in Bottom view 2. Before I sent my laptop to the company for repairs, Creo Parametric 2.0 Student worked perfectly. When I got my laptop back one of the first things i did was re-run Creo Parametric, and It gave me a warning message saying that it was unable to use my licence or something. That is no longer an issue but the issue now is that it doesn't have "write access". I'll attach a picture.

Hi.I have a problem with tree in wizard.My wizard contains tables on 1-st and 2-nd steps and tree on 3-rd. Tree is created from objects selected on 1-st and 2-nd steps (i can get them by NmCommandBean.getNmOidSelected() method).The first invocation of wizard works fine.On second and others TreeHandlerAdapter does not work. The NmCommandBean.getNmOidSelected() returns empty list, and TreeHandler.getRootNodes() is not invoked at all?How can this problem be solved?Thanks.

We installed MED-100WIN-CD-390_M110_Win32-64 on a Windows 8.1 laptop ultrabook (ideapad, corei5 processor). Installation seemed to go perfectly well and said that Parametric and Direct both installed successfully. However, there is no exe file for either found on the computer when done. Searching the harddrive, it seems that the files are there in: C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 2.0\ however, there is no exe file.   We tried installing it multiple times, same result. Please help!

I tried to install Creo 2.0 but each time stoped at "Applications" step as the installation was not listing applications. I tried the following steps as described below.   Step 1: Downloaded the "Creo2_setup.exe" and double clicked on it. Step 2: Selected "Install new software" and pressed "next" at the right bottom corner Step 3: Accepted license agreement by selecting "I accept the license agreement" and pressed "next" at the right bottom corner. Step 4: Entered my user name "mxislam2@wichita.edu" and password and selected "Log In" Step 5: Entered my product code in "Install Licensing" and license file was available in "License Summary" and pressed "next" Step 6: Applications step. The applications were not populating and "install" button was grayed out and I was stopped there. I tried couple of times with rebooting but couldn't change anything.   Please help me to solve this.

Am I missing something here, I lot of the disucssions people have said 'file attached' but I can't see anything. is this something I'm completly missing?
