Hi,Need to pass the number, iteration and the version of my document to a query. But I'm not getting to version. Good morning,I have one assembly and I'd like to show it in two configurations, one with a part constrained to a 45º and another with the same part at a 90º angle.I have tried to do this with Simple Reps but to no avail.I first tried to give the angle constaint a different value in each representation but it changed throughout all SRs.I then tried to have two angle constraints, enabling and disabling per SR but again the enabling and disabling changed throughout all SRs.Any advice gratefully received.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I am having difficulties with case 1a - 1d in table 24. Things start to fall apart when I enter dimensions for a circular plate that has radii smaller than 1 inch. The deflection at the inner and outer radius can't be calculated.Am I doing something wrong? Is this a limitation based on the assumptions? i have attached screenshots for your reference.

Hello,in the attached sheet, please scroll down to the red arrow. When i used the Find function, i can find the root, but when i try to do it with the "root" function i get an error. if i change the guess value to .0001, i will get an answer. But this answer is incorrect because the correct answer is what you get with the Find function which is .0021273. The reason why i am using the root function so i can assign the answer to a variable. I tried to assign the Find function value to a variable, it does not let me unless i dont know how to do it. Is there a better and accurate way to do this w/o worrying about convergence? Thanks!

In experimenting with some simple BLENDS, I often find unwanted twists in the finished Blend between sections. This is easy to fix by dragging the start point on the section. When I create Blends from existing sketch sections, this works fine.However, when I create BLENDS and then create sections inside the blend, there is no sign of the start point. Without the start point, I cannot fix the unwanted twists.Does anyone else experience this? Should I just recommend to my class (high school) that they create Blends from existing sketches? Or is there a way to get the start point to appear on Blends with internally defined sketch sections?Thanks for help on this.-Brett

I'd like to know si commands for retrieving a list of files and their versions from a Project based on labels on the files themselves. So I'm after a list of all files with a label from a project.I'd like to know a similar cli means of retrieving the files/versions from a Project if the Project checkpoint itself is what is labeled, which might first mean getting the Checkpoint based on the label, then getting the files based on the checkpoint.

Hi,Is it possible to implement the modification of the accuracy of all the elements of an assembly in one simple menu (maybe adding components selector in the accuracy windows?) in futur versions of Creo Parametrics? I have produced some sheet metal enclosures which will have silk screen printing added to identify connectors.Is there a way I can add text and line art within Creo that will be rendered?The only way I can think of doing is is having a seperate sketch with the text and line art, and then extrude it by an infinately small amount. Is there a "proper" way of doing it? In fact, scratch that, I just realised you cannot extrude text from a simple flat surface. So back to my initial question! Also, is there a way of inserting a variable in text that I can then pattern and have the variable increment in the pattern. I'm trying to install Creo Parametric 2.0, the student version. I can not find the license file, where can I get it? Must I download it separately or is already on the PC? And how can I change the language of the program without changing the whole language of the computer?

My first post here, so please excuse me. I'm new to Parametric (have used Autocad in the past for modelling). I've searched quite a bit but cannot seem to find an easy answer to what seems to me to be a simple sketching need.I'm looking to sketch some heatsinks manufactured from extruded aluminium. I would have thought the simplest method is to sketch the profile then extrude this. However, if it's a long, repetitive profile requiring hundreds of clicks to create the fins, this quickly becomes tedious.I've tried doing a few then mirroring them, but this creates unimaginable angle references and the drawing becomes unusable. Also, despite ensuring all the lines are joined up, I cannot create the extrusion.I've also looked at doing a pattern of the sketch, but for that to work, I pattern just one fin, but cannot then complete the base of the heatsink as that would need to be another sketch (otherwise the base is patterned too).I'd really appreciate any pointers in how to do this effectiv

I have been testing Prime 3 in the hope Prime will become usable. When I launch the program I get the following error message:"The program can't start because ppp.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"I have reinstalled Prime 3 and still get the error message. Prime 3 does run after I click OK on the error message. MathCAD help has not been able to assist with the resolution of the error. Has anyone else seen this message.?Regards,

Hi, I downloaded the software for Creo Elements Pro and I'm trying to install it on my Windows 7 but when I open the setup program it immediately freezes.It says a problem has occurred and the program has been stopped.Not sure if this is a problem with the software or the computer, but this laptop is new.I have tried downloading the software numerous times but the same problem keeps occurring. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I'm doing Microeconomics. Sometimes i need to solve with delta, but when im trying to solve with delta on PTC, it doesn't work.Im sure, im setting the calculation up right, but i just don't know how to use the deltas right. My classmate that uses a program called wolframe alpha, and it works when she's setting it up the same way on that program. Does anyone remember the list of mathematical constants that were posted on the Mathcad website? Can anyone please tell me how I can locate that list? There were some pretty interesting constants like how many cars could park on the side of the street, and so on.

Hi,I have entered a sample problem 8.14 from"Mathcad for Chemical Engineers" Adidharma and Temyanko.The PDE is shown in red.I have tried to research the problem but have not had any luck. Is the the PDE outside of of the solver block and this is what is causing an error. Please advise.

Surface plots, even in the tutorial, are not showing up (just a white square). If I change them to contour plots, they are ok. Has anyone else had this problem? Or a suggestion? I am using MC 14 M020 and Windows 7. I am sure that I did not have this problem on my old computer (which was running XP), but maybe I have inadvertently changed some setting?

I am working on creating an electric motor assembly that will adjust based on given parameters. For example I want to be able to adjust the rotor lamination and have the rest of the assembly adjust accordingly. The issue that I am currently running into is I am not sure how to create relations between seperate parts. Is there a way to do this in Creo 2.0? Windchill 10.1 ProjectLink workflow task allows users to reassign tasks to other users. The user reassigned a task to a specific user but the user is unable to see the task in her "my task" inbox. The initial user is no longer able to see the task either.The routing/history indicates that the task has been reassigned to the correct user.Is there a way for the Administrator to view each user's "my task" inbox? Is there anything else the Administrator can do to locate the specific task?
