I have got the trial version of creo 2.0 installed successfully and i go to click on the application, it seems to start to load and then 'crashes' with a fatal error. I have scanned this forum for answes to my problem and they seems to involve editing the config.pro file in wordpad. I am stuck at this point, it will not let me save any changes i make to this file. I get a notice that says access to this file was denied. Is there any other way to fix my problem.   P.S. Hello,I am trying to use a solve block to solve the same equation for a range of inputs using the vectorize function. I have had success doing this before (thanks to other threads I have read here!). For some reason on this particular problem I cannot get it to work. If someone might have any suggestions after looking at the attached worksheet it would be great appreciated. In the worksheet I first solve the problem for a single input which works, then I try the multiple inputs but can't get the solver to return anything other than the inital guess.Thanks,Mike Einhorn

Is it possible to downconvert a Mathcad Prime 3.0 file to Prime 2.0? I have Prime 2.0 at work, but at home I downloaded the free Mathcad Express + 30 day trial. The version I have at home is Prime 3.0. Every once in a while I come up with an idea at home but don't have my work computer with me. I'd like to be able to e-mail the file to myself and use it at work. However, when I attempted that today I couldn't open the file at work using Prime 2.0.Any ideas?

Hi I am using Creo Parametric 2.0 Student's edition.My rig is an i5 3.1 GHz with 8 gb RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 660 2 GB GDDR5 graphics card. When I try to create simple parts in creo parametric, their edges appear a tad distorted. How do I fix this to get smoother edges? I have tried using the NVIDIA control panel and changing the settings specifically for creo parametric, but the difference was negligible. Please help as soon as possible. Thank you. Today I found another annoying selection problem in drawing sections. Maybe someone has a Pro|WorkAround^TM.   I had a offset section (model created) in a drawing where I erased all the hatching. Then I wanted to exclude a few components. I could not select the "hatching" any more since there wasn't any.   Anyone know of a way to bring up the hatch edit dialog when no hatch is visible?   The same problem exists if you accidentally excluded all components. Turning off the section in the view and then re-initializing it doesn't work either since it seems to remember the last state.   Tips?   Another annoying behavior: excluding components do not update right away. Here's our situation...We have multiple Integrity servers that are running the same, or completely compatible, solutions.We create a ViewSet on one server and it works great.We use that same ViewSet to view items on a different server and the colums in ViewDocument, Queries, and the "Relationship Fields" display the wrong fields.We update the ViewSet on the this different/second server, and things would well.We that ViewSet is used on the first server, the columns in ViewDocument, Queries, and the "Relationship Fields" display the wrong fields again.It appears that ViewSets are "bound" to the server on which they were created.How do we create a ViewSet that works on multiple servers in our situation?

We need to perform some procesing logic when an item is moved from one document into another. We have setup a trigger rule that contrians Document ID != Document ID[New Value], but the script never fires when I cut-content and paste-content. With a little debugging, I'm finding that tne Document ID of the destination document is not available to me in scripts.Can someone explain to me how to setup a trigger that fires when the Document ID changes for an Item?Note: In the Trane Solution, the Document model is mostly disabled in this context. No branching, versioning, etc. The document is merely a container and there is no hierarchy to the node items.

Greetings,When I try creating a new shape by importing a .dxf or .dwg I get an error message that reads, "The sheet Model cannot be imported because it is too large or the units are incorrect." Here is my situatioin: I open a document to the Word using Edit-in-Word functionality. There are default styles shown in the inline view of Word. If I make changes to these styles and reopen the document again to the Word, all the changes that I made are overridden by the default styles.Where can I found these default styles? Where is the style file located?

We are making documentation for our products using Arbortext for Aerospace & Defence. If I Create a Build List in Arbortext Publisher I get a browser window telling me what data modules have been changed w.r.t. the previous published issue.Data modules in my delivered publication may change because they are changed for deliveries (other publications) to other customers. If my publications are in the DELIVERED state, there is no easy way to see if I have to supply my customer with updated publications. If I want to use the Create Build List to see if any data module has been changed, I have to raise the issue of the publication first. If I do so, the result can be that there is no need to send an update, leaving the publication in the PENDING state. I do not like that.There should be an option in the Publisher to see that data modules in a publication have been changed without the necessity to raise the issue of the publication or do I oversee any other possibility to track changed

Hi,   I have Creo 2.0 M090 installed on my laptop. I clicked Utilities>open system window. Then I input purge and execute it. I was told 'purge is not recognized as an internal or external command,....', see attached image. My installation of MathCAD 14 is messed up. It used to work correctly, but now the multiplication symbol has turned into an empty square. I can't figure out how to restore it to normal. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling MathCAD but it didn't change the behavior.Also, a left-paren and right parent look normal when on just one line. But if I put parens around a fraction e.g. (3/4) I see a a bunch of empty boxes instead of the parentheses.

Hello,I've got a surface plot of some X, Y, Z data that is correct. However, when I add contour lines (or do the 2D contour plot), there are extra contours that do not exist in my data. My Z axis should only have data from 200 to 1100, but in the picture, you can see data well below 200 into the negative values, and some data that exists above 1100. It appears mathcad is trying to interpolate data that isn't there to fill whitespace. When I fill the backplane, it only tints the contours that don't exist with the shade of the backplane fill.Any fixes, or is this a glitch in 15?Thanks

I have a troublesome rib that I'm developing. The contour is variable through the length but towards the 2 ends the opening is a true diameter.I can throw an axis on the edge of the opening and revolve a diameter, but unfortunately there is tangency angling into the end opening and the resulting diameter doesn't cross the true center of the open diameter, meaning the Revolve is not tangent with the Boundary Blend.I've tried applying a Sweep through the red intersect curve shown in the attachment using the edge of the opening but could not get a result that worked.I tried ISDX but it didn't allow tangency at the intersect with the edge.I've also tried different combinations of Boundary Blend with no success.In our other CAD software we would only need to use the Fill Gap command and as long as there was good tangency the problem was over with 2 clicks.In my opinion this should be simple yet it's got me at wits end.Any ideas in how to close this up with a tangent round surface?This threa

Hello,I'm looking for docoumentation to use a VBA program to call up mathcad and have it calculate a spline for a data set, then send the data back to excel. I can locate my array I need to send in my data just fine, but I'm unsure how to call up MathCad.As an example, here is the mathcad worksheet I'd like to send the data to with VBA. Please not that the data size changes in length depending on the collection run.

Can someone please remind me how I can set a "string" parameter in my model equal to my file name. I know I've done this before, but its been awhile and I don't remember how.

Ugh, tables in ProE, sorry, Creo...   I have created a table with repeat region for use in our assembly drawings and saved it as a ".tbl" file. The trouble is I want to keep sub assemblies out of the table. I just want to see the parts and the quantities of same. I have gone to #Repeat Region, #Filters, #Add and have added "&asm.mbr.type == part", which is what I think should keep assemblies out of the table. But it doesn't.   I know I can filter out sub assemblies by "Item", but I want to automate the process and leave the chance of human error out of it. Anyone know how to do this? Am I missing something???I simply want to create mulitple similarly formatted notes in a drawing. And by formatting I mean font, height, etc.Specifically I am creating a sequence of notes each with only a number (1,2,3,4,5...) that are spaced apart by varying amounts. Shown in the attached image is a ruler example I've created to show the kind of thing I am trying to do.My initial approach was to create the first note, copy / paste that note, and then edit the note for the next number. SILLY ME!!! How dare I think that highlighting the note and then using the usual CTRL-C / CTRL-V routine would actually work. Anyone that has used windows based software anytime in the last couple decades knows that this is the way it is done but apparently it doesn't work in this one. So then I changed my approach to select the "NOTE" tool in the annotate tab for each number I want to create and go through all the motions and button clicks required EVERY time. Hi,In WF5 sheet metal, when I try to change k-factor or y-factor (Edit>setup>bend allow>...) the k-factor and y-factor are greyed out. Nothing happens when I click on them. The only clickable option is bend table.According to Help center it should be possible to change k and y-factor this way.
