Hi All,Any idea on how to modify ibamap.properties file for a migration from Pro/I 3.4 to PDMlink 10 M020. Earlier, there was a property in migration.properties "migration.admin.iba.allowIBARename", but I guess it's no longer there.Anybody has done this before? Can we directly modify into the file?Please help.Thanks,Wasim

I have been looking but not finding an answer. I am trying to start a sheetmetal part with a revolve but I want to dimension to the ID in one section of the revolve, have a small offset and then dimension to the OD of the second section. In WF4 I can thicken while sketching and create these two dimensions. When in Creo 2.0 and while sketching my revolve section I can not select thicken (setup-feature tools-thicken) because it is grayed out. If I create a second (unattached) revolve section after my initial revolve I can thicken it because this feature is not grayed out. Hey, i use PTC Creo 2.0 Student Edition (mainly Parametric) on my Laptop with Windows 8.1. I have Creo 2 M070 but it takes about 3 minutes to load and I have problems with some operations. I have read, that Version M100 is needed for Windows 8.1 but I dont find a way to update the software. Another problem is that I cant use the Internet explorer in Creo 2 beacause IE 11 is also not supported in M070. I hope someone can help me because I need the software to study. For some reason my assembly isn't able to retrieve missing components even when I select the correct folder (I even checked the folders to make sure the parts were there and my config.pro file has the correct search paths). I'm not sure if it's unable to retrieve the components because of how they became renamed? (They appear to have "_.prt" at the ends of some of their names now instead of ".prt")Some of the parts didnt have this problem and I was able to retrieve them (although they still appear in red)Any solutions? Hello Everyone,I am having a problem with rotating an image that I cannot solve. I need to align the image on the plane to the part above it. The problem im having is that the image rotates in big jumps and it will not align. Is there any setting that can be adjusted that will allow this image to rotate with a very fine resolution. Hello folks,I'm trying to learn how to specify Neumann boundary conditions using numol to solve a PDE.As you may be aware, Prime 3.0 does not feature Pdesolve so if we want to solve a PDE, we need to use either numol, relax or multigrid.I'm using a rather simple example of Pdesolve in which we have a flat plate perfectly insulated at x=0 and with convection at x=L. Now, the problem I'm having is that I cannot decipher how to express these boundaries conditions when using numol.If someone knows how to do this, please solve the problem in the attached file using numol and post the solution in the reply.Thanks a lot for you help!P.S.: I saved the file in Mathcad 11 format so that a bigger audience may be able to open it and contribute. How can I add another 4 degree dimension to the 26.500" dimension shown on the upper right hole of the bolt hole pattern? I was able to use the "make line" function in the new dimension function in the Annotate tab for the 4 degree dimension on the 7.000" dimension coming up vertically because you can select the vertices on the bolt hole, but they are only at the 90 and 180 degree positions of the hole. New Creo user here, taking a ton of time to find where Creo has hidden many things. Is there an easy way to add M01s before tool changes without screwing around in the tool motions tab? Trying to avoid doing it in Notepad afterwards.

My company made the jump from WF3 to Creo2, and I'm struggling a bit with drawings. It's been a while since I've used Pro/E, as most of my recent projects have been in Solidworks, so I may just be a bit rusty. The modeling has been easy to get back into, but I'm really struggling with drawing creation, specifically geometric tolerancing. In the past, I would create geotol datums and tolerances in the model, and simply show them in the drawing when that time came. It seems to be a bit more complex now in Creo. After much trial and error, I've finally managed to get my geotols into the model and displayed on the drawing. It took a while to figure out, and I'm still not sure I quite grasp the new "Annotate" tab. I could create datums and geotols to my hearts content, but it was a 50/50 shot if they would even show in any drawing view. Sometimes the datum would display, but the geotol attached to it would not, or could only be shown in a specific view. I ended up deleting and recreating th

I am trying to create two datum axes for a hole pattern. The default annotations for Creo do not put the axis at the 4 degree angle of the model I created. I was able to create the vertical axes with no issues, but cannot figure out how to create the horizontal axes since you don't have the option to select the center of the hole. Hello All,   A simple model comprising a cylindrical bar held at one end.   The constraint is defined in a cylindrical csys as it is desired the bar should rotate relative to an applied load.   The rotation should be achieved using an enforced displacement constraint.   The enforced displacement is THETA.   I would have expected the bar to rotate, (rigid body) but instead the elements on the constrained face wind up.   Model attached. (which can't get much simpler) No forces applied. Hi again,Questions are thick and fast this week.If I have a patterned part (20 times say) and that part has constraints and loads defined in it, does the order of appearance of the constraint and load sets in the analysis definition form appear in the order of the patterned part?Example analysis definition form below showing a component's loadsets and constraint sets when patterned twice.I know I can test but there is no way of telling which pattern element a constraint/loadset is associated with.More than 2 elements in a pattern and it gets mighty confusing compounded by having to scroll up and down in the definition form as it's not possible to see more than 5 constraint sets/loadsets at anyone time.ThanksThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. We just loaded Creo 2, M090 and now the windows (the play path, parameters, etc) pop up directly in the center of the screen. I know that there is an easy fix, but can't remember going through it when we loaded M030. Where is all legacy Mathcad stuff ( Electronic Books, free Add-ons for Mathcad 8, 2000, 2001, 2001i) ?Much of it was/is loadable even by newer and current Mathcad editions !I did not find anything here, also Google does not find anything special if I look for "Mathcad Electronics Books".Btw, I am still using Mathcad2001i - no software activation, enough math power -, for my own internal development purpuses. It runs well on W2k and WinXP.If an employer or project owner asks me to do something with Mathcad, I expect a current version of course :-), thats the business.With the newer Mathcad versions, it is still possible to save in the Mathcad 2001i format (but not in Mathcad 2001 format, or older ) :-).SincerelyRolf

Hi, I am using genfit() to fit my experimental data to one function with 3 free parameters. Mathcad could give the best fit parameters very fast.But how to calculate the error of these fitted parameters.Thanks a lot.

I already have Creo 2.0 M090 installed on my laptop. Now I want to run setup.exe install other applications, but after I double clicked setup.exe. There is no Installation Wizard shown. I got a traceback.log file. See attached. And when I checked Windows Task Manager, there is a WerFault.exe*32 is running. But disappear very soon. Anybody who knows how to fix this? Tks in advance.
