Hello,   Does anyone know if it's possible to rename subassemblies automatically, to acquire their active Simplified Representations names on a main assembly?   The main goal is to export to STEP with these new names, but if I had to save it before as Creo files, it would do just fine.   Thanks!This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. In case of a product with complexer links with other parts or products, all these linked components are listed but without any information about their names, only CAD number. I think name column could be useful. Is there a possiblity to display the names in the set state window?

Does anyone have a .dmt appearance file I can use? I would like to be able to down load a .dmt file that has about 50 pre loaded colours. So far I only have one colour grey and I have to make them all as I go which is slow. Hi Everyone...     Once again PTC/User is holding it's bi-annual "face to face" Technical Committee ("TC") meetings. These meetings are held twice a year and the Winter Session is being held this week. I realize I still owe an updated spreadsheet from the last meetings in August. However, I still have everyone's enhancements and I'll be raising as many topics as possible during the meetings.   Understanding that this is a bit late, if you have requests or nagging problems with Creo 2.0, now is the time to speak up. Please know that topics like the User Interface (ribbon), colors, the measuring tool, and assembly constraints are well-covered already. There's a special meeting for "pain points" and user annoyances with the Detailing module so that might be a good place to focus your comments.   It helps to remember that the most useful enhancement requests are very specific. Vague requests like "fix the measurement tool" are not as easy to fight for as a more focuse

Has anyone gotten it to work? When I open it, nothing happens. Run as admin, nothing. Run in compatability, nothing. Ideas?

Hi,I am looking to create a Managed Baseline programmatically.We currently create an ECN programmatically, set it up using a few additional lines and persist it using the following: cn = (WTChangeOrder2)ChangeHelper2.service.saveChangeOrder(cn);Is there an equivalent for a Managed Baseline?We are currently running 9.1 M060 but will be upgrading to 10.1 M0XX in a couple months. Whether it works in 9.1 does not matter.Regards,Toby

I'm working on a differential equation for a class and I couldn't get it to solve, so I tried a bunch of examples that worked for others and I couldn't get those to solve either. I've attached one such file. I may be making some really obvious or stupid mistake, but there is nothing I could find similar to this and the press F1 for help is completely useless. hello all,   what's your favorit way to share an attribute into another model? let me explain: in a skeleton, I have defined several attributes and dimensions that are necessary to use in the other components. Hi. I have a wizard with treeBuilder as step.Tree is constructed by implementing TreeHandler (to be exact MyTreeHadler extends TreeHandlerAdapter).I have variable in MyTreeHadler to write some log during tree creation.Is there any way to get this variable in wizard FormProcessor?Thanks.

I have MathCad 15 installed and when opening existing files any excel spreadsheets or powerpoint sketches within the document are repositioned on pages overlayed on calculation regions - does anyone know a fix without have to drag them to their original positions?

Hi,ia am using Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Express 4.I want to create a 3D Body out of an imported DXF drawing.I have drawn the DXF in scale 25.40 but before exporting to DXF I changed to 1:1.If I measure DXF in my 2D CAD I get 84mm.But when i import it the scale is wrong. I get 2133,6mm instead of 84mm (a factor of 25.4).The 3D Body has correct length (84mm) after editing scale to 25.4.In Annotation the length is wrong with 2133,6mm!When I enter this factor to the units under system settings, i can measure the correct values.But when i do a STL export then I get a body without this factor.Is it possible to enter a "hard" factor while importing a DXF, that the base data is correct and the system does not referr to the wrong imperial dxf data.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi @all,our users have some queries which fulltext-search in longtext-fields. Some of these fields are richttext-fields, and the text, which the user is searching for, is inside tables. If this is the case, the query doesnt find the text. Is this a bug, or do we have to change our way to search?Thanks, kind regards, Jens

Hello, I'm having a problem with a Mathcad file - I am able to get the mathcad file to work if I separate it into two different files. However, in the same file it gives me an error about a variable being undefined. I'm not sure what's up with this. It's a first order absorption and elimination problem. I've attached the files to show what the second part of the program is suppose to do and what it does if it works. I tried changing the variable names and references but something strange that I can't figure out is happening. I would appreciate any advice or wisdom on the matter.

I know I can make a note that displays the text of a parameter, but can I move the location of the note based on a parameter? Lets say my parameter is called catalog_num and is a string. The contents of that string can be "partname-left" or "partname-right". When starting a new drawing the datum planes default to DTM1,DTM2 and DTM3. Is there a way to change the datum plane names to Right, Top and Front so that they always are Right, Top and Front when you start a new drawing? Not working because I have left the local variable allocation (<--) and use Return ! it's was a left over of some testing !!!------------------------to allI a still playing with my "Safe Zone" definition and managed to make the slope a function a variable (ratio) rather than being "fixed". However in this caswe I am unable to plot the graph ( I only get part of it) and I suspect it's something to do with the way I defined the function. Any help or hint appreciatedThanksRegardsJXB
