Hi all,We create documents using Arbortext Editor and css with Syler and have a request to have tables in PDF with rounded corner.The quick way we are trying is just create a rounded rectangle SVG and use that as a background to the content, putting the table in front of it. It is easy but not seems to be the WAY...Also we think on creating the table as a Scalable Vector Graphics(SVG) object, and include that as an external-image in our XML document. SVG supports rounded corners, and XML supports SVG. It seems to add more complexity...So we are searching the WAY as an specific or modified function on the Styler to programe the CCS to publish directly rounded corner tables. Does anybody know if it is possible and/or whow to do it?Thank you!!!!

Hi, All --Could someone please tell me what the current release (M0??) of MC 15 is? I am on a college campus using the University's license (currently M005), so I can't view the PTC maintenance site myself. However, if I know which maintenance release to ask for, my IT folks will provide it. If it matters, I am on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine and have no interest at all in Mathcad Prime (in fact, when asked by my IT folks to review Prime, I did -- and I recommended that they not purchase it, which they haven't).Also, is it possible to see the release notes without being a maintenance user?Thanks.Matt

Hi ,I would like to know if the context sensitive help, can be configured globally.To elaborate, I want to install the proe help (%proe base dir%\html\proe_help) in single location in some remote server. All the users would have access to it. Off course all the users will have their local proe installation. Whenver they click the "What is this ?" icon in Proe, and then click on any icon, the information will be picked from that server location.Currently context sensitive help ("What is this ?" in Proe) works for my local installation.RegardsAwadhesh

Hi,I would like to get some hints or help with how I can format the version string depending on the lifecycle the document is in.The document lifecycle state can either be in "In Work" or "Released" state and depending on this state I would like the version string in the document to be like the table below.LifeCycleStateVersionIn WorkA.4Released AI was figuring it would be easy to just to reformat the version string checking out the document to word by creating a soft attribute with a formula checking the condition of the lifeCycleState but I don't get it to work. I've read many threads that have come up through google when I search for how to do something in MathCAD, and I was hoping to receive some feedback from the community. A little about what I aim to do; I'm a senior in the Civil Engineering program at UCF and am trying to design MathCAD programs/worksheets to solve problems in my two current structure courses in order to gain a higher understanding of the material as well as demonstrate my ability to use programs effectively to potential employers. The two courses I'm refering to are Reinforced Concrete Structures and Steel Structures. I can't get the copy of Mathcad 15 that came with my student copy of Mathcad prime to install or run properly. Mathcad prime is installed and appear to be working correctly. When I run the 15 disc it runs smoothly until the license selection page. I have tried both use an existing license and get a new one online with my product code and for both methods the setup fails and crashes. I really need 15 because without it prime is completely worthless since I can't open any sheet any other person has constructed. I need help the directions online and that came with it are terrible. Hallo,I would like to ask for your experience. I need to find the volume with triple integrals between 2 cylinders. They are not along the same axis. To imagine how they are found, they form a cross, like this: +The first one is an ordinary cylinder and it follows the form z= 3 sin (phi). This was really easy.The second one is an elliptic cylinder. Here are starting the problems. The area of this second cylinder is given by x^2/a^2+y^2/b^2. For a = 2.6 and b= 3.0But I just can transform this second one into cylindric coordinates and at the same time turn it 90° from the first cylinder to form this "+" cross.Do you have any idea?Thanks a lot!Best regards.

Hello,I've got a bug on my Windchill instance. It was working before, but now, when I try to add a content (a file) to a new document, or if I try to replace the content of an existing document, I've got this error message:An error occured while uploading the file. Please contact your administrator. Error: [object Error]I've got nothing in the logs of Tomcat or Windchill...The vault seems ok. It is possible to read the content of documents created before this bug.It doesn't sound to be an ACL topic because the wcadmin user has got the same issue.Have you ever met this kind of problem ?Cheers,Henri Marchal

We're hosting a student design competition with a university on Windchill and I need to have certain team folders hidden and certain team folders visible. For example, Student Team One should only see their folder and not the other six, Team Two should only see their team folder, and so on.I'm sure it is a privacy setting or something to that extent, and have even deleted those specific roles on each folder, but they can still see all of them. Does anyone know how to go about hiding those folders?Any help would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hi, I would like some advice on a problem I am having with integration using the Evaluate Symbolically command. When I apply this command to equation (9) in the attached file, I get the result of the first integral. However when I apply the command to that result I just get a repeat of the result; I don't get the result given in the article I got the equations from (see equation (10) in the attached file).Thanks.

I was testing the fft and ifft routines on a gaussian function. Seems to work fine - I get original function back applying fft and ifft. But the discrete function I get from fft does not look anything like the transformed function given by symbolic evaluation. What am I missing here? (see attached worksheet).

Hello ,I have two equations , two unknowns and one freed parameter.So solve block finds solutions for two unknowns with respect to changing parameter in the equations.What i want to do is updating initial guesses for solve block after each solution ( taking the previous solution and setting them initial guess )I know this will not change anything for this system but i need to apply this continuation method to a very complex and nonlinear set of equations which is very sensitive to initial guesses ( I dont have only one solution depending on initial guesses i have another solutions also )So i want to be sure that i am following a one branch of solutions by changing initial guesses. In the end i should be able to get a graph between freed parameter and solutions.Regards

Since when could we reference a roughing sequence from a diffrent operation (diffrent orientation even) for a re-roughing? I remember not being able to do this but I just tried it for a goof today and it worked! So am I remembering incorrectly?

I edit graphics after inserting JPGs in Arbortext documents. When I reload the modified graphic, I always get an annoying viewer which I have to close before being asked to insert and seeing the new graphic. Is ther a way to shut off this automatic viewer?I checked Advanced Preferences but did not find the option. Is there a command line option? I use Arbortext 5.3.Thanks - Mike

Here's the question, write a computer program that can be used to determine the agnitude and direction of the resultant of n coplaner ofrces applied at a point. What I have now is that Fn.x=Fn cos(theta n) and Fn.y=Fn sin(theta n). I understand the concept of what I need to do, I just don't know how to do it. I want to understand it so if anyone answers please explain whats going on if you can. I want to learn, not just get it done. thanks.

OK. I must be doing something wrong. I checked out some parts and assemblies into my workspace. What I want to do is rename a part (Ex: Hose_A_V001) as another name (Hose_A). Then I want to check Hose_A back in and have the original part (Hose_A_V001) go up one iteration with the new name (Hose_A). When I do the rename (on server and in session), the original part doesn't get renamed in my workspace. Creo seems to do a Save As and it creates another part in my workspace with the new name. The assembly does show the new name. So, when I check everything in, both the original part AND the new part are checked in (I use the automatically un-checkout unmodified objects option). The original part (Hose_A_V001) still has it's current (.-1) iteration and the new part (Hose_A) is also present. So, now I have two versions of the same part, just different names. What I want is for it to go from (Hose_A_V001 version .-1) to (Hose_A version .-2).I've been able to do a rename in Windchill but then

Hello , i am new to mathcad.I attached a simple solve block file.I would like to find solutions for x and y for different values of z.So z is a vector and i want to get results of x and y in a vector.I tried to do it without making a for loop since it is not very easy to understand for me at the moment.Maybe solve block can not work in this way i dont knowI am more familiar with matlab and working with matrice and vectors.Thanks

Has anyone seen this problem?I have a part with 12 through hole and 12 counterbores on the holes. When I drill the through holes everyting works fine, But when I counter bore the holes I only get half of them. Very frustrating! No matter how I try and select them it will only cut the six holes.After searching the knowledge base I see there is a SPR (1984609) up there addressing this issue. Using Script with a combo box object, is there a way to store the last selected value in the worksheet, so it can be retained the next time the worksheet file is opened? I see saving it into an outside file (.txt, .prn, or .csv) as an option, but is would not be practical in my workgroup environment.Can I change a variable definition:if I start a worksheet with:a:=10Can I script to change it into a:=15 for example... Like after the file is saved, the value is retained.I could also use the Combobox script to initialize to the last saved value...
